That night, I was woken up by a slight wet nose against my left cheek.
I was slightly confused at first and thought I had drooled so much that it woke me up. Thank god it wasn't, or else I would have felt pretty pathetic. However, at that time, I had no idea what it was. When I opened my eyes, the room was dark enough that I couldn't see much aside from the window that was illuminated by the moon, just a little.
I sheepishly wiped away the wetness that I thought was my drool and turned around to fall asleep once again. And I would have. If not for that sudden yelp as I was turning my body the other way.
I sat up in an instant and looked at the ball of fur resting against my side. I squinted and took a closer look.
"Luhan?" I hesitantly asked.
A small bark filled the room for a second and immediately, I told him to hush. The walls were not that thick and I just hoped that no one heard that.
I sat up straighter and reached to turn on the lamp on my nightstand. "How did you turn back into this form?"
The puppy opened its mouth and it looked like it was about to bark again before I reached over to cover its mouth with the palm of my hand. "No, no. Don't bark please."
The puppy started walking in circles against the pillow and eventually laid down and yawned.
I scratched my head and blinked twice. I supposed it was alright for him to sleep here, since he was no longer in the other form that often made me flustered. I sighed both in relaxation and defeat as I laid back down, carefully placing my head on the other side of the pillow and waited for sleep to consume me.
The next morning came faster than I had expected and I was woken up by small feet pacing around against my body. I groaned in annoyance but eventually opened my eyes in defeat.
"It's so early, Luhan..."
At that, when the puppy noticed that I had finally woken up, he jumped towards me and started giving me small across my face.
"Ack! gross, Luhan. Stop it." I pushed him away gently with my hand and sat up before he could attack me again.
If Luhan was bothered by me pushing him away, he didn't show it. Instead, he continued to wag his tail from left to right, nonstop.
When I got off the bed to walk towards the washroom, i was stopped by whimpering sounds coming from Luhan. I turned around as I rubbed my eyes and saw him struggling to get off the bed, because it was too high for him.
I smiled at the slight and walked back towards the bed and reached for the puppy. I picked him up and froze. Wait a minute...If he's too small to even get down from the bed, how did he get on last night?
I gave the puppy a suspicious look, one in which he didn't notice, again, before placing him back down on the ground.
I carried on to walk towards the bathroom, without noticing the puppy skipping to follow behind me, and I slammed the bathroom door close before he could walk in with me.
Just as I was about to go to the toilet, I heard slight whimpering and scratching at the door.
"Oh my god, Luhan." I groaned, again, "at least let me pee before I open the door."
I quickly did my business, brushed my teeth and washed my face before I opened the door again. As soon as I opened the door, I was greeted by an excited puppy that kept jumping against my legs as if i had been gone for a long time.
I couldn't help but chuckled at the puppy's adorableness and proceeded to bend down and scratch behind its ears. At that, Luhan leaned towards my hands and closed its eyes with its mouth slightly hanging open.
"Don't get used to this now, I have classes to go to today."
It was as if Luhan understood me, because the next mome
