I wish I could be a star

Lighting up the sadness and the unhappiness of people

High in the sky, looking down

Caring about what they’re doing

High in the sky all alone

Yet feeling warm because I could watch over my loved ones

Illuminate the dark road in front

Telling my loved ones to pay attention and to keep going

High up in the sky

Travelling near the moon and the sun

Shine brightly

So bright, that I already started to die

Because a star that shines

Is already dead and so I wish I could be too
