Water

The water moves lazily

The stream follows

Down and down

Reaching the end of the mountain

But not before it crossed a river

A few hills

Maybe a little house

Moved along the grass and the flowers

A splash here and a splash there

Reflecting the sunshine

Slowly and relaxed

The water moved till it reached the end

The end of the mountain

Jump and fly

Like the fishes and birds do

Rebel and fight

Like how the wind does

But the water just moved

Slow and then quick

Into the sea

Losing its own choice

Isn’t that just like how people are?

Following others, losing their uniqueness

Then what was the point

Of that exciting voyage you did

Before becoming mainstream?

Just like how water moves into the sea

Losing the you

You actually are.
