You woke up to a clicking sound ,slowly opening your eyes you jump at seeing chanyeol sitting by your side , the clicking sound was him clicking his fingers by your ear..

“what are you doing?” you asks still sleepy

“time to wake up….its your omma’s birthday today” he tells you

You sit up and look over at your alarm clock

“6.00….chanyeol why did you wake me up this early?”

“I was bored…haha go back to sleep” he says pulling a cute face at you

You grab one of your pillows and throw it at him

“you missed” he teases

“it went through you so technically It hit you” you say

“it went through me so you missed “ he laughs

“don’t you sleep?” you ask

“in case you aint noticed im a ghost”

“so….ghost can still sleep”

“sometimes I do”

“then go to sleep and stop waking me up so early” you say and pull the covers over your head

Chanyeol huffs and sits on the chair in the corner of your room

Bored…..bored………still bored

“ok fine im awake” you say pushing the covers off you , only to find chanyeol not there…he’s still there just invisible and of cause you cant hear him

“oh great you wake me up then you vanish” you say and walk out your room towards the kitchen , your parents aint up yet so you make breakfast then take a shower….

After your shower you see your dad in the kitchen making breakfast for you mum..

“morning appa”

“morning sweetie”

“omma still sleeping?”

“nae but ill wake her up with breakfast”

“spoiling her huh appa” you laugh

“like always” he smiled

You grab your mums card and present and head to her room with your dad

You both woke her up by singing happy birthday to her

“awww this is lovely” she says with a soft smile

 

“happy birthday omma” you say while handing the gifts over

“oh Jessie you didn’t have to get me anything”

“I did..i hope you like it” you smile

“ohh Jessie..i-its beautiful..this is the first picture we took when we brought you home” she smiles

She suddenly laughed confusing both you and your dad , seeing your confused faces she showed you the picture and you understand the reason behind her sudden laughing…

“I have to get to school..ill see you both later” you say and walk out

“love you” your parents call

“love you both” you reply

Once outside kai is waiting for you

“morning jess…owwww..what was that for?” he asks after he received a slap from you

“look at this picture …what do you see?” you ask shoving the copy picture in his face

“ummm you and your parents “

“keep looking”

“oh look its me hehe im in the picture”

“kai you totally photo bombed my omma’s birthday picture” you say

“its not my fault im in the picture” he defends himself

“oh really..cos that cheeky grin on your face and the fact that your leaning into the picture say otherwise”

“I bet your omma laughed”

“she did…..and that’s a cookie point for me”

“oh c’mon” kai moans

“I don’t believe it…look” you say shoving the picture into kai’s face once again

“now what am I looking at?” kai asks

“look closer”

“someone else is photo bombing “ he says

“that’s not just someone…that’s chanyeol” you say

“the ghost boy?.....how is he showing up in a photo?”

“I don’t know….you can see through him…he said he had been here from the start..i guess he weren’t joking”

 

In school you and kai were in the same class  , you were so bored listening to the teacher go on and on about whatever it was he was talking about …until you notice there was a new student in the class….chanyeol

He was standing next to the teacher pulling silly faces and doing silly dances , you were trying so hard not to laugh…

He was mocking the teacher and mimicking his every move but in more of a funny way..

*stop it stop it stop it* you think

You looked over at kai who was giving you a what-is-wrong-with-you kind of look he also mouthed ‘what are you doing?’

You mouthed the words ‘chanyeol’ and pointed towards the teacher , kai’s eyes went wide after he realised that your ghost friend was hanging out at school…

After class you walked into an empty room

“chanyeol…chanyeol I know you’re here” you whispered

“boo” he appears infront of you

“don’t do that…what are you playing at?”

“you looked bored”

“I was but that’s not the point”

“I told myself I would stay at home till I got bored” he tells you

“and?”

“and when you left I got bored”

“so you stalked me”

“I didn’t stalk you……I followed you” he smiles

“when someone is following another person and that person don’t know they are there…that’s classed as stalking” you say

“nope it means im awesome at hiding” he smiles at you

“just because you have a cute smile don’t mean you can get away with everything”

“you think I have a cute smile” he says and grins

“don’t get any ideas , I think kai has a cute smile aswell”

“you do know that if anyone comes in here your going to look crazy”

“how do you work that one out?” you asks

“because you’re the only one who can see me”

“oh great so not only are you trying to get me to burst into fits of laughter in class your also gonna make me look crazy……thank you”

“your welcome” he smiles

You walk out and head to the library to study , you find a corner and put your books out on the table , while writing some stuff down you see the pages of one of the books turning to the next page

“chanyeol” you whisper

Hahahahaha

He keeps turning the pages and you slam your hand on the book , making someone ‘shhhh’ you

“sorry” you whisper

“chanyeol stop your gonna get me kicked out of here” you whisper

Its boring in here anyway

Shaking your head because you know he is smiling at you right now..

You finish up your last sentence and head for your locker

“hey there beautiful “ you hear someone say

Looking past your locker door you see a boy who has been annoying you for a while now , you didn’t know his name as you never asked him

“so when are we going for that date?” he asks

“never….like I told you before please leave me alone now”

Yeah like she would date you anyway …mr floppy hair

“oh come on..stop playing hard to get”

“don’t touch me”

You heard her , keep your hands to yourself floppy

He walks off and says “I was dared to ask you on a date anyway…no loss to me anyway”

You raise an eyebrow at him and shake your head , trying to hold in the laughter as he was trying to open the door..

Struggling …..

Still struggling………BAM , the door opens and he falls on his backside, chanyeol had been holding the door on the other side till the right moment came to let go…

Send me a postcard next time you go on a trip hahaha

You couldn’t hold it in anymore you burst into fits of laughter

School ends so you and kai went to a café to get something hot to drink for the walk home , in the café you and kai were waiting by the counter watching the lady make your hot drinks , another girl was struggling with the water machine suddenly water started pouring out everywhere , you and kai watch with wide eyes

*chanyeol* you think

 

Once at home you go into your room as your parents aint home yet ,chanyeol appears sitting in your chair which he has now claimed as his chair..

“that was mean what you did today to that poor girl”

“that was not me…..i promise I was standing next to you the whole time”

As you were about to answer him your phone bleeps telling you a message has come through

You smile and chanyeol comes and sits next to you

“whos that from?”

“I didn’t know we were on being nosy terms” you say

“im curious”

“its from a guy ive been texting , he wants to meet up”

“oooooo”

You nudge him but your arm goes right through him , even though he was visible to you , you still couldn’t touch him..

“you have a really bad aim jess” he teases

“not my fault ghost boy”

“don’t call me that…I don’t like it” he says more serious

“sorry”

“what’s the cookie point thing about?” he asks more happy this time

“it’s a game me and kai made up whenever me or kai does something silly they get to eat an extra cookie..so when I by a box of cookies if kai has three cookie points I have to give him three cookies out of my box and vise verser  , or if we say something that is just weird ..its a cookie point”

“hmmm..o…k”

“Jessie…..do you still have them nightmares?” chanyeol's face and voice was more softer

“how do you know about them?”

“ive been here from the start…remember……I used to comfort you”

“that was you?......the voice I hear is my omma’s”

“its my voice”

“they have stopped for a while , thank you for being there”

“well I got nothing else to do so I choose to sit and watch over you”

“are you a guardian angel?”

“haha , nope im just….me”

 

After you and your parents had been out to dinner and your mum had blown out the candles on her cake and made a wish you had gone to your room where you spent most of the night talking to chanyeol about all sorts of things.

You felt that having chanyeol around weren’t such a bad thing after all as you had company ….

He had a way of making you feel relaxed

To chanyeol being able to talk to you was a great relieve for him as he had been searching for something on this planet…but he just didn’t know what he was searching for..

Until he saw you he knew you were what he was searching for.
