Xiumin’s POV

She’s really here; Xiumin thought as he looked to his left and saw his baby sister sitting next to him on the couch. Oh that’s right; she’s no longer a baby. Her laughter interrupted his thoughts as she continued to converse with Tao.

“So what was it like to model for Marc Jacobs?” Tao beamed as he continued to question my sister.

Minah giggled and answered “So Cool!” She admitted “The clothes are to die for!” She answered honestly. Reminding Xiumin that even though his sister was a super model, she was still just a regular teenage girl obsessed with clothes and fashion. Xiumin couldn’t help but laugh as he heard Tao ask Minah for a photo. However Xiumin wanted to be selfish and steal her away. Who could blame him, he missed his little sister and he had many unanswered questions for her however before he could utter a word, Suho announced that it was time to practice.

 

 

Your POV

It hasn’t even been an hour and you’ve already fallen in love with your brother’s group. It was easy to see why everybody loves them. They were loud and crazy and they weren’t bad looking. You were currently talking to one of the members, Tao. You knew you two were going to get along just fine as you both shared a passion for fashion. Throughout the whole time, nobody could take away that smile that was plastered on your face. You were so happy to be back and with your brother, who was seated next to you with the same smile on his face. You two were going to do some major catching up later but for now, you familiarized yourself with Exo. During your conversation with Tao, their leader announced that it was time to practice.

“Are you alright to watch us practice, Minah?” Your brother asked as he stood up.

You smiled and nodded “Of course, Oppa!” You puffed out your cheeks before speaking again “This is my first time seeing you do your thing live”

He laughed and nodded “Well we shall put on a good show for you then”

He moved to his position as they all formed what you assumed was their starting position. You got settled on the couch and folded your legs, watching them closely.

“Exo Fighting!” You suddenly cheered which made everybody stare at you and blushed. “Isn’t that what your fans say before you perform?” You continued as they smiled.

Suddenly one of the members ran in front of you and pinched your cheeks “Oh my goodness, you’re so adorable” You blushed as he smiled.

“Thank you-“You hesitated as you weren’t sure of all their names yet.

He laughed and introduced himself “My name Baekhyun but you can call me Oppa” He waited for your reply.

“Thank you Oppa?” It came out more like a question as the man before you squealed with delight as he hugged you. You hugged him back and noticed his scent, he smelled really good.

“Okay step away from my sister and get into position” Xiumin said as Baekhyun let go and moved to his place.

Xiumin smiled as he winked at you “This one is for you sis” You clapped as the music started, of course you were familiar with their songs and this one was definitely a favourite. Growl had to be one of the cutest songs; you just loved what it meant.

As they performed you couldn’t help but stare at one particular person and no, it wasn’t your brother it was that bubble tea boy. Suho I think his name was if I remembered correctly. There was just something about him that intrigued you but before you could analyze him further, the song ended as Exo collapsed on the floor and looked at you.

“So?” One of them asked, D.O I think his name was “What’d you think?” He smiled as they waited for your answer.

You smiled and clapped “Can I have your autographs?” They laughed and you joined in.

“That good, huh” Another member smirked, Chen was his name.

You nodded “Yes” You sighed “Everything looked so cool, maybe I should have been an idol instead of a model” You told them as you smiled.

“You can be an idol” Your brother said as you looked at him.

“Really?” Chen looked at you. “Can you sing?” He asked.

“Or Dance?” One of the Chinese members asked, Lay.

You shook your head only to hear your brother laugh “She’s lying.” You glared at him as he poked his tongue out.

“My baby sister can sing, dance and act” You blushed as he spoke proudly “She can do it all”

“Oppaaaaa” you whined as you looked at your older brother.

“What? Just telling the truth, that’s all” He smirked; sometimes you hated your brother. But he was right, you were blessed with the ability to sing, dance and act but you never really pursued it besides you fell in love with modelling, you couldn’t imagine yourself doing anything else.

“Oooh can you sing us a song?” A new member spoke. Luhan aka your brother’s bff.

“Sing one of our songs!” Even the cool guy, who you knew as Kris joined in.

“No do a dance” Two guys said as they both smirked, they were the maknaes Sehun and Kai.

You laughed and bit your lip, a thing that you do whenever you get nervous “Uh maybe another time” your eyes landed on Suho and it’s like he was able to read your mind he smiled at you which of course made you blush even more.

“So Minah, do you have a favourite Exo song?” Suho asked changing the subject. You silently thanked him as you nodded.

“I actually have a few” You said. “I really like Baby Don’t Cry” You smiled “3.6.5, XOXO and Lucky”

You looked at them as they smiled. “You have good taste in music, Minah” Baekhyun smirked.

“Why thank you but between you and me” You looked around before beckoning him closer.

“I prefer BTS” You smirked as if you just told him a secret. Oh the look on his face.

You laughed as the rest of them joined you. Baekhyun pouted “What do they have that we don’t?”

“Jimin and abs” You smirked as you winked at him.

“Hey now, we have abs” Kai smirked.

“Yes but how many packs are we talking?” You looked at him

“I can show you” Kai winked as you heard your brother move and hit Kai’s head as the dancer mumbled Ow.

“Nobody is showing my sister anything” Xiumin spoke as you laughed then your stomach rumbled which made you quiet and the members laugh.

“Minah, when was the last time you ate?” Your brother asked as he sat next to you. Your silence answered the question.

“Yah! I told you to take care of yourself!” You flinched as your brother told you off “Do you really want a repeat of last time?” You shook your head as you remembered an incident a few years ago. It was during a photo shoot and you were too busy so you didn’t get a chance to eat anything and in the middle of the shoot you collapsed and were taken to the hospital. The doctor told you that you had low blood sugar and that it was important to eat regularly to avoid frequent visits to the hospital.

Your brother must have noticed that he scared you as he sighed and hugged you. “I’m sorry Minah, I didn’t mean to yell at you” You nodded as you smiled.

“It’s okay Oppa, it was my fault” You pinched his cheeks “I just got to busy”

“Well it’s no meal but I have a bar and fruits” Suho smiled as he placed them next to you with a bottle of water. “Why don’t you eat this for now and after practice, let’s all get something to eat”

You smiled at him “Thank you Oppa?” It came out like a question as you weren’t sure of their ages.

He chuckled and nodded his head. Your brother ruffled your hair and explained “Everyone except Sehun and Kai are older than you”

You smiled “Ah so 10 Oppas” You looked at them as they nodded. You turned to Sehun and Kai “94 too?”

They both smiled and nodded “When is your birthday?” Sehun asked.

“October 14” You told him.

“I’m April and Kai is January” Sehun smirked “So technically we’re older, so you can call us Oppa too”

You smirked “Dream on” You pulled your tongue out. Then Chen and Baekhyun sat on either side of you and smirked.

“Feisty, it looks like the 3 of us are going to get along just fine” Chen smiled as he put his arms around you and Baekhyun leaned on you.

“Shouldn’t you go practice now?” You looked at Chen and Baekhyun as the maknaes laughed getting ready to dance again.

“Ouch” Baekhyun placed his hand on his chest “You hurt me, darling”

You laughed “Well you know what cures that?” As you looked at him “Dancing, now go dance” You said. “Make me forget about Jimin” You smirked as they patted your head and laughed. The pair got up and walked towards the centre, getting ready to perform another song.

As you continued to watch Exo perform you couldn’t help but feel proud of your older brother. He’s worked so hard to get to where he is right now and looking at the rest of them, you knew that your brother belonged with them. As they finished their last song, you heard your phone ring. You looked at the screen and saw your best friend’s name.

“Miss me already, babe?” You smirked as you watched the members get ready to head out.

You heard your best friend laugh “Can’t help it, Can’t forget my first love” You smiled but that triggered you to remember yours, not the greatest memory or the easiest to escape from.

“Well get in line honey, everybody loves me” You smirked as you caught the eyes of the leader who smiled at you before turning towards Kris. Stupid leader and his stupid cute smile. “So what are you doing?”  You asked Hyeri as you heard her shuffle around.

“I just finished a photo shoot and I’m heading home now” You heard a car door shut. “I miss you best fran” she said as you giggled.

“I miss you too darling” You said as your brother sat beside you and you leaned your head on his shoulder.

“Hi” Your brother whispered to you as you looked up and smiled.

You turned your attention back to your best friend “So have you met Exo yet?” she asked as you looked at the boys in front of you.

You laughed “Yes, I have”

“Anyone caught your eye?”

You bit your lip and looked at the leader “Maybe”

Then you pulled the phone away from your ear as your best friend screamed. “Woah, too loud” You said as you laughed.

“Omg Omg, okay so tell me about him” She demanded.

You blushed and cleared your throat “Um, not now k” You heard her whine “Maybe, later” She kept begging you to tell her but you wouldn’t budge. Finally you had to go. “Gotta go eat, talk to you later best fran” You heard her fake cry before she said goodbye. You hung up the phone and turned towards your brother.

“Hello” You smiled as he hugged you. Whenever people saw you two together, people always assumed you were a couple because you two were so close. But you couldn’t help it, you depended on your brother and he depended on you. You knew everything about each other, well not everything. Your brother wasn’t aware of what happened to you with your first boyfriend and as long as you can help it, he will never find out. You didn’t need to put him through that nor did you need to relive it.

“I still can’t believe you’re here” Your brother said as he pinched your cheeks, checking to see that you were real.

You groaned and pinched his cheeks back “Minseok Oppa, I’m really here!”

“For how long though?” Your older brother pouted, he knew that your visits never lasted more than a week.

You frowned as you looked at him, deciding you wanted to play around but the look on his face prevented you from doing so. Instead you smiled and said “Forever!”

His face when you told him, priceless! “Really?! You’re moving here, permanently?!” Xiumin screamed making the members look your way as you laughed and nodded.

Your older brother hugged you and lifted you up. “Oppa! Let me down” You squealed as he let you down.

“Where are you living? Do mom and dad know?” He began to throw questions your way.

“Woah, slow down Oppa” You giggled. “I found an apartment, it’s getting fixed up as we speak and mom and dad already know about everything and I will be seeing them soon”

Your brother nodded “Okay, but where will you be staying in the mean time?” He asked you.

“I booked a hotel” You smiled.

“Hotel?!” Someone spoke as he walked towards you. Baekhyun grabbed your shoulders and faced you towards him. “You are not staying at a hotel, my cute maknae”

You looked at him “Since when did I become your ‘cute maknae’?” you asked him but he ignored you as he spoke again.

“Suho hyung, can’t she stay with us?” Baekhyun pushed you towards Suho.

Suho looked at you as you blushed “No it’s fine, I have a hotel and-“

“You’re welcome to stay with us” Suho smiled. “Manager hyung already talked to me about it”

“Yay!” Baekhyun hugged you “See cute maknae, you’re staying with us”

You looked at Suho and Baekhyun “But don’t you guys share your rooms already?” You asked Suho “I guess, I could sleep on the couch but I don’t want to bother you guys and-“Once again you were interrupted.

“It’s okay cutie baby, we’ve arranged it all already” Chen smiled at you

“Cutie baby?” You asked you looked at him then looked at your brother who was just as lost as you were, wondering when they had the time to arrange all of this.

“ One of the rooms will be given to you and your brother to share” Chanyeol said, thanking him for not including a pet name “ You’ll stay with us until your apartment is ready, wifey” Spoke too soon.

“Is that alright with you, Minah?” Suho asked as he smiled at you.

“I guess” You answered him as you were still processing everything that just happened and also thankful that Suho did not add another new pet name.

“Okay, that’s sorted” Tao smiled and opened the door “Let’s eat!” As they began to walk out.

“Are we not going to discuss all those pet names just now or what?” You asked as Xiumin put his arm around your shoulder and walked you out. He just laughed.

“I’ve learned to just go with it, sis” He smirked as you all walked out and more pet names for you were created.

 

You guys finally arrived at a restaurant and the scent as you walked in, made your stomach rumble even more. You sat down in between Suho and Xiumin; you looked outside the restaurant and saw the massive crowd of girls staring at you. I guess they found out Exo was eating here tonight and you being the only girl with them probably did not make it any better.

“So do your fans just naturally hate the girls you’re with or what?” You asked them as you looked outside again and saw a bunch of girls glaring at you.

Suho’s laugh brought your attention to him as he spoke “They’re not that bad, they just don’t know you yet but don’t worry once they know who you are, they’ll be friendlier” He assured you.

“Minseok Oppa, they know I’m your sister right?” I asked my brother. “Cause I don’t want to die tonight and if looks could kill” You gulped as you avoided the fans’ glaring eyes.

This time the entire group laughed, which probably didn’t help. Your brother spoke “They know I have a sister and they also know that’s she’s in America”

You looked at Exo “Yeah maybe, I should just go back” You laughed “Because they’re seriously freaking me out” you told.

“Just don’t pay attention to them, they’ll know soon enough who you are” Luhan smiled as you nodded.

“So food” You beamed as you looked at the menu. Everyone placed their order and as we waited, we all got to know each other better.

You found out that Kris could speak English, which made you excited because you missed speaking English already. So for a few minutes you talked to Kris in English as the rest of them pretended like they understood.

“Okay and back to Korean, Minah” Your brother chuckled “Before I get a nose bleed” You laughed and nodded but not before setting a day to hang out with Kris. You liked him, he was an interesting guy.

The food finally arrived and everybody raced to eat everything they could, the boys were worried that you weren’t getting any food however when they saw you, they couldn’t help but stare in awe. You swallowed your food and looked up and saw 11 pair of eyes looking at you, not including your brother’s because he knew of your eating habits already.

“Woah Minah, you can eat” Sehun gawked as you blushed and put your chopsticks down. Sensing that he might have offended you, he blushed and quickly apologized “I-I didn’t mean um-“He cleared his throat “What I meant was-“You interrupted him with a laugh.

“It’s okay” You smiled, you drank your water “I guess, I shocked you with my eating” You blushed.

“You can say that again” Chanyeol said.

“How can you eat so much, when you’re so little” D.O wondered as he stared at you with those eyes.

You laughed “Um I have the appetite of a teenage boy but the body of a model?” I suggested, not really sure how to explain it. I looked to my brother for help.

He laughed and spoke “Minah eats a lot; ever since we were little she would just eat and eat but never really gained weight but long story short, she loves food”

I nodded “If you want me to love you, bring me food” You smiled.

“I’ll keep that in mind” Kai smirked as you winked at him and he laughed. Kai was the definitely the flirt of the group and he was incredibly good looking which was a bonus.

“But I’ll admit, it’s harder now with my job so I work out” You added.

“You like to work out?” Lay asked you as you nodded.

“We should work out together” He suggested as he smiled at you.

“Sounds like a plan” You told him. You can already tell that you were going to be good friends with your brother’s group.

As you all continued eating, you heard your phone beeped. You checked it and saw that Hyeri sent you a photo. It was her, lying down looking sad with the caption ‘Miss you boo!’

You laughed and pressed the reply button, you pouted and took a photo and wrote back ‘Miss you too berry boo!’

“What’s with the pout?” Suho asked you.

“I sent my friend a snapchat” You smiled as you continued to eat.

“What’s a snapchat?” Suho asked you as you turned to him.

“It’s this app where you can send pics or videos and the receiver can only view it for a limited time before it disappears” You answered as you heard your phone beep again.

“Disappear? Where does it go?” Suho looked at you, completely lost. You couldn’t help but giggle when you saw his adorable face.

“I don’t really know but all I know is once you view it, it’s gone after” You smiled. “You should download it, it’s quite fun” You told Suho as he smiled and nodded.

Then you got an idea “Here Oppa, take a photo with me to send to my best friend” You told him.

“Alright” He smiled as he scooted closer to you. For a moment you forgot where you were. His scent was intoxicating, he had a unique scent with a mixture of cologne, sweat and what you could only guess was his natural scent. My god he smelled edible. Your mind finally cleared up as Suho got closer. You both looked at the camera and smiled. You sent it to your best friend with the caption ‘Meet Exo’s Leader, Suho Oppa!’ you showed the finished product to Suho as he smiled and scooted away from you much to your dismay. You don’t know why you did it but you saved the photo before you sent it to Hyeri. You could say you liked the way you looked or if you’re really honest, you liked the way Suho looked in the photo.

As you continued to eat, you couldn’t help but think about the handsome leader next to you. There was something about him that you found fascinating. Before you could think about him any further, Tao asked you a question.

“So do you have a boyfriend, Minah?” He asked as you felt everyone especially your brother looked at you.

You shook your head “Sadly no” You sighed.

Your brother scoffed “Good and now that you’re here with me; it’s going to stay that way”

You punched your brother as he pulled his tongue out at you. You mimicked his action. Having a boyfriend was never something that you considered top priority anyways. Especially after an awful experience with your first boyfriend, you decided to stay away from guys for a while.

“Do you guys have girlfriends?” You asked them. As they all shook their heads, claiming they were too busy to date. Kai of course told you that you could change that and be his girlfriend which you politely declined.

You turned to your brother “No girlfriend still, Oppa” You shook you head “Now that I’m here, I’m going to change that” you bumped his shoulder as he patted your head.

You tried to bite his hand before you shoved it away as your brother laughed.

“You two are so different” D.O commented as he looked at you and your brother. “Minseok Hyung is so quiet and sweet” He paused then looked at you “While Minah is so-“He paused again, finding the right words.

“So what, Oppa?” You waited.

“Hot”

“Beautiful”

“Loud”

“Mean”

“Perfect”

You looked at the members as some of them shared random words that supposedly described you. You blushed at some of the comments; however you looked at D.O and threw a napkin at him.

“Mean?” You looked at him as he gulped; he drank his water before stuttering.

“No what I meant was-“he gulped again “Compared to Minseok Hyung you’re-“You laughed as you got up and walked towards him. You hugged him but the boy in your arms was too shocked to respond. After a while you sat down. You smiled at D.O and spoke.

“I’m just kidding, Kyungsoo Oppa” You poured water into his cup. “I know what you mean and I guess between Minseok Oppa and I, I’m more out there and yes I guess meaner” You smiled as he smiled back.

Then you realised you just hugged D.O, someone you just met. Shoot, isn’t that like a no-no in Korea? You cleared your throat and blushed.

“Kyungsoo Oppa” You said as he faced you with a smile “I’m sorry for hugging you, I guess I’m so used to Western culture and-“This time it was him who interrupted you.

He smiled and shook your head “It’s alright Minah, you’re a part of the family now” You felt a bit better, you really needed to learn some Korean culture to avoid any confusions.

“If you want, you can hug me” Kai smirked as he opened his arms.

“Or me” Sehun copied Kai.

“Or none of you” You smiled as they feigned hurt.

“She’s a heartbreaker, this one” Baekhyun commented. You just continued to laugh and talked with Exo.

After dinner, it was time to head home. You hopped inside one of the vans to go to their dorm. Inside your van was your brother, Suho, Kai, Baekhyun and D.O at the front. You were at the back, in between Suho and your brother.

“So what are your plans now that you’re here in Korea?” Kai asked you. “Will you continue modelling?”

You nodded your head “My agent in America has set up meetings for me here in Korea for a new agent and possible new projects” You yawned. “So hopefully, Korea will welcome me like America has for the past few years”

“Are you kidding me, you’re face is everywhere in Korea” D.O said. “I can guarantee that everyone will want to book you”

You smiled as you felt your eyes start to close “I hope so” you said as your brother positioned your head on his shoulder as sleep started to take over.

Suho’s POV

There was something about Minah, that intrigued Suho. Ever since they met, he began to feel a mixture of emotions. She was blunt, sassy yet at the same time she was sweet and adorable. She easily got along with the members and it seemed like everybody has fallen for her charms but Suho can’t help but feel like he’s fallen deeper. Every time she talked to Suho, he couldn’t help but smile. When they took a photo and he saw how well it turned out, he wanted to have a copy of that photo. He knew it was ridiculous but he was developing a crush towards his friend’s younger sister who happens to be a top super model. Suho didn’t know what scared him more the fact that she was Xiumin’s little sister or the fact that she was a super model and every guy wanted her which meant that Suho did not stand a chance. Still Suho smiled as he listened to her talk to the members and occasionally to him but for now he was content with just listening to her voice. They were on their way home and Minah sat next to Suho. As she fell asleep on her brother’s shoulder, he couldn’t help but glance over at her. She looked so peaceful and beautiful, and then Suho looked at her brother who was looking down at his sister with a big smile on his face. He knew how close Xiumin was to his sister and he knew how much he missed her. He also knew how protective Xiumin was of Minah which made Suho even more confused. He couldn’t possibly like her right? She was a close friend’s little sister and like D.O said she was family and yet Suho couldn’t help but look over at her once more and felt the butterflies in his stomach.

“Why do I have a feeling that things are about to get interesting from now on?” Baekhyun said.

Kai laughed quietly and looked back at Minah’s sleeping figure.  “She’s just what we need, I’ve only known her for a bit but it’s like I can’t imagine my life without her” The dancer blushed.

“I know what you mean” D.O smiled as he turned around to face us. “It’s like I’ve known her all my life and things got better when she got here” D.O laughed “I can’t wait to see what happens next”

“She has that effect on people” Xiumin spoke up. “Ever since we were young, she was able to win anyone over. Anybody who met her practically fell for her” Xiumin sighed “But it’s both a blessing and a curse”

“What do you mean hyung?” Kai turned around.

Xiumin frowned “There was another reason why she was sent to America” He shook his head “She would get bullied by girls because all the boys would be friends with her and then some people would use her and she ends up getting hurt” There was silence in the car as Xiumin continued. “That’s why I’m so protective; she’s too nice to see that some people are just using her. I have to look after her. She means the world to me and I will kill anybody who hurts her” Xiumin threatened as he sighed. He mumbled an apology.

“It’s alright, Minseok” Suho smiled “We understand”

Baekhyun turned around and smiled at Xiumin “Hyung, you know we’ll look after her!”

D.O joined in “We’ll help you protect her!”

“I’ll flirt with her!” Kai added as Xiumin hissed but laughed.

“Thanks guys just treat her like she’s your sister too” Xiumin smiled as he looked down at Minah before patting her head gently.

Suho gulped as he looked out the window, yeah treat her like she’s my sister. Why does that sound harder than it should be?
