Minkyung couldn't help but blush each time she looked down at their matching outfits. Not only was she feeling giddy about how many times people passing by would stop and stare at them with warm smiles, or when store vendors would try and compliment them into buying their products by calling them a cute couple, but when she would make eye contact with Hongbin who she would catch looking at her more than a few times with a smug grin on his face.

This really does feel like a date... Except if it were a date, we would be holding hands...

She thought as she looked down at her empty right hand and imagined it holding his left hand. Hongbin glanced down and saw her slight smile.

"What are you smiling about?"

Minkyung couldn't help but blush when she considered telling him what she was thinking. To her surprise, his guess was almost directly on target. 

"Are you happy that people think we're a cute couple?" he teased, and Minkyung looked away immediately in surprise. 

"No, it's just that... It's just that it's a really nice night." she concluded as she was still looking away from him with all of her willpower. She was determined not to let him notice her blushing. let alone hear her loud beating heart that felt like it was about to jump out of her chest. Hongbin smirked and shook his head.

"Why don't you go sit down by those benches over there? I'll go buy us some hot chocolate." Hongbin said as he pointed to a row of benches not too far from where they were standing. Minkyung nodded, eager to have an opportunity to compose her fluttering heart. Hongbin smiled and ruffled her hair as he turned away. 

"I won't be long."

She watched him turn around and waited until he dissapeared into the crowd of people. As soon as she lost sight of him, Minkyung turned around and headed off to sit at one of the empty benches. 

After a few minutes, she began to worry.

Maybe the line was long? He should be back by now...

After a few more minutes, Minkyung made up her mind and decided to get up and go look for him. Just as she was about to get up, something warm brushed by her cheek. Looking up in surprise, she was surprised to see Hongbin right above her, holding a foam cup full of hot chocolate lightly against her cheek.

"Oh! I thought you got lost or something! I was getting worried!" she exclaimed as he walked around the bench to sit next to her. Hongbin handed her her cup of hot chocolate and scratched his head in embarrassment. 

"I'm sorry it took a while. The line was a bit longer than I expected." he appologized, and Minkyung shook her head. 

"That's fine. As long as you're ok. Thank you for the drink." she said in relief as she took a small sip. 

It was pleasently quiet for a while, the both of them were enjoying the secenery around them in appreciation. It was Hongbin that spoke up first.

"I'm actually glad Ken didn't tag along with us today." He said sheepishly, and Minkyung couldn't help but smile. 

Of course she loved Ken, but more than anything else, he always seemed to never leave them alone. In almost every single one of their outings, Ken was always there. It was a nice change for once to just have the two of them this time. 

"What happened to him? He normally comes along with us." Minkyung asked curiously, and Hongbin bit his lip and looked away.

For this special night, he had purposely made sure that Ken could not come. It's not that he didn't like Ken, it was just that he had wanted it to be just the two of them tonight. After remembering what he was going to do, his heart began to beat rapidly in his chest. Minkyung turned to look at him curiously after his long break of silence. Hongbin cleared his throat loudly and looked down at his shoes. 

"I think he had something planned... You know Ken! He's always busy." He said nervously, and Minkyung laughed. 

"It feels weird without him here. Normally, he would keep on talking and talking for hours and hours." she chuckled to herself, and Hongbin laughed half-heartedly with her. After a few seconds of pure silence, Hongbin then cleared his throat again. Minkyung turned to look at him worriedly.

"Oh no! Don't tell me that you're sick!" she said in concern, and Hongbin held up his free hand and shook his head.

"Ah! No! No! I'm not!" he said, and Minkyung breathed a sigh in relief. Hongbin nervously looked down and Minkyung continued to sip her drink. Taking a deep breath to try and steady his madly beating heart, Hongbin put down his drink and turned to Minkyung. 

"Minkyung, I-"

"Hongbin, I-"

The two of them looked at each other and blushed. 

"Ah, you can go first!" Hongbin said as he gestured for her to speak. Minkyung shook her head and looked away. She gripped the ends of her jacket tightly. 

"Ah... Hongbin, I was actually wanting to tell you this a while ago..." she started, and Hongbin looked up at her curiously. 

Minkyung took a deep breath and closed her eyes, not wanting to see his reaction.

"Lee Hongbin, I think I like you."

After a moment of silence, Minkyung opened her eyes, and instead of seeing him make a disgusted face like she imagined he would have on, she saw him with wide eyes that did not blink. 

Minkyung gave a shy discouraged laugh and looked away in embarrassment. 

"Ahhh... I'm sorry. Never mind. Just... Forget what I just said." she said worriedly as she turned to face him. Just as she turned her head to look at him, Hongbin leaned over and pressed his lips tenderly on hers. Minkyungs eyes widened in surprise.
