It was a Saturday afternoon, one that was long overdue. The siblings sat side by side on that tree branch, both with an undeniably similar appearance: t-shirt, jeans, with a french-dip in hand. To Mark, the city streets and people of this place had changed all too much these three years. But one thing could never change, and that thing was but a simple tree branch.
"So you're really not staying?" Cassidy asked with a mouthful of sandwich. "You're disgusting, what if your classmates saw you like this? Hey, chew with your mouth closed!" He was laughing. "Yeah, I'm going back to Korea after these two weeks are over." "You should take me with you. You won't have to buy and send me my merch anymore. I'll be closer to my bias that way. Maybe we could even meet and get married," she joked, at least he hoped she was joking. "I don't mind sending you those dumb albums and photocards anyway.
