Chapter two~

“Mom, I’m going out,” I said after wearing my shoes and getting ready to go out. Tonight, I decided to walk around this area and to that playground again.

“Where are you going?” mom asked

“Just walked round here” I said as I zipped my pink jacket

“It’s already night, Tiffany”

“It’s okay mom. I just want to walk around this area. I’m not going far”

“Be careful okay”

“Dae!” I said before going out from house

“Hah… I really miss this place” I hummed a cheerful tune in the beautiful scene at night as I walked on the street on my way to the playground.

“And him too…” I said as I stopped in front of the playground.

‘Can I meet you again? Taengoo… I’m sorry because leave you without tell you’

I let out a sigh as I sat on the swing and then looked at the sky. Tonight was really quiet and peaceful. The sky is full of stars and tonight's full moon.

Suddenly I saw someone lying on the slides while looking at the sky. Then I realized that it was Taeyeon. He wore a grey hoodie and still with his cold expression. I just met him in class this morning and then I didn’t see him anymore after recess time.

He didn’t realize I was here and kept looking at the sky. I decided to not disturb him because he might doesn't know me. After a long time I sat on the swing, I decided to go home because my mom will be worry. Before I went home, I stole a glance at Taeyeon and saw him close his eyes. Is he sleeping? I don’t want to wake him so I stood up and walked slowly toward the street. Suddenly…

Damn you stupid branch!

Taeyeon suddenly opened his eyes “Who’s there?” I can’t see him because my back was facing him but I know he’s looking at me now.

I slowly turned around and looked at him. He stood up from the slides and walked toward me with his hands on his pocket.

“Umm-- I – I..” I stuttered when I saw him walking in my direction with his cold face.

“Oh… it’s you,” he said in an interested tone when he looked at me. Wait, does he know me?

“Do you know me?” I asked curiously.

“Yeah... I saw you in my class today” He said

“Umm… I’m a new student” I awkwardly said “I’m Step-“ I want to introduce myself but he suddenly cut my words.

“Yeah, yeah… whatever… I don’t care” he said before turning his body “And go home. It’s not good for a girl to be outside at this time” He said and walked away from me, leaving me alone at the playground.

Today is the second day I’m at my new school. Jessica and I became friends and I still don't have many friends except her in this school. And sometimes, I keep looking at Taeyeon in the class and he was always sleeping or keeps staring outside the window in the middle lesson and sometimes he yawned cutely even if his face looked cold. I don’t why but I feel something different when I see him even though we did not talk much at
