At the school.. The principal called them to go up at the stage

 

“These 4 girls again.. Showed a wonderful performance during festival” the principal said “give them a round of applause”

 

when 4 of them are walking,, many students greeted them and say "congratulation" one time there’s a group of girl who gave them a chocolate and said

 

“we watch you during the festival.. You’re amazing”  

 

when the girls left.. Sooyoung read what is written in it..

 

“how do I read this?” she asked, having a hard time reading

“Cho---Ji----Tae---Ri.. pabo!” Yuri said

“ahhh.. what’s the meaning?” jiyeon asked

“I think it’s our name… CHO, is for Sooyoung, Ji is for Jiyeon, Tae is me, and Ri is Yuri” Taeyeon explained

“They’re quite creative” Sooyoung said as she took a bite at the cake “it’s good”

“If you read it faster, it's like this "ChoJiTaeRi"” Jiyeon said

“So?” Sooyoung asked, munching

“It will be the name of our group” Jiyeon said

“it's not a bad idea” Yuri agreed

“do we need a name for our group?” taeyeon asked

“no,, but since our fans gave that name,, we should be proud of it” Jiyeon said proudly

“fans?” Taeyeon asked, smiling at her “are you a celebrity?”

“soon to be” Jiyeon said playfully

 

 

Week only before their summer vacation

 

“what are you going to do during vacation?” Yuri asked

“I will sleep” Taeyeon answered

“don't you think it’s boring, why don’t we play? jiyeon suggested

“play what?” Sooyoung asked

“anything” Jiyeon answered

“I think something,, why don’t we just study some martial arts or self defense? Sooyoung suggested

“but we already know taekwondo” Yaeyeon said..

“but learning self defense and some martial arts is a bit different it’s harder than taekwondo but its gonna be easier since we already taekwondo” Sooyoung explained

“I don’t think that’s a bad idea, we can learn to defense ourselves while being healthy because we can exercise our body” Yuri said

“perfectly right!”. Jiyeon said “are you going with us tae-tae?

“if not,, will you let me?” Taeyeon asked

“no.. Of course not” Jiyeon answered

“so do I have a choice?” Taeyeon said.. While Soyoung, Yuri, and Jiyeon are laughing..

 

During vacation.. They practice self defense and some martial arts.. With the help of Sooyoung's grandfather..

 

“hey kids” Mr. Choi said..“I have a good news for you”

“and what is that?” Yuri asked

“there's a competition of taekwondo,, many student like you will be there you can meet some strong opponent.. If you'd like to know just let me know.. Mr. Choi said

“we'd love to. Mr. Choi” Jiyeon and Yuri answered in unison

“are you sure..?” Mr. Choi asked..

 

Taeyeon, Sooyoung just nodded..

 

the next day

 

“kids.. Fill up this form for joining in that competition” Mr. Choi said, then give the paper

 

while looking at the paper..

 

“it said that we need a team name, a captain and at least 3 to 4 member”. Sooyoung said

“team name?” Taeyeon asked

“since its gonna be four of us, ChoJiTaeRi” Jiyeon suggested

“right, right.. since that girl gave that name to us because of taekwondo” Yuri said

“so, who's our captain?” taeyeon asked..

 

“since our team name is ChoJiTaeRi, Sooyoung is the captain since she is Cho” Yuri suggested

“is that even a valid reason?” Sooyoung asked,

 

Sooyoung can't do anything, because of majority..

They won and get the first place..The competition started, they're group become famous for all the contestant of that competition for showing a wonderful fight...

 

Just like that the summer vacation ended.. 4 of them are now in their second year high school

 

during recess time after a week since the school started

 

“where is Sooyoung and Yuri” Taeyeon asked Jiyeon

“yuri texted that their teacher extended his class” Jiyeon answered

“It was a good vacation.. did you know that our group become famous in some school because of taekwondo? Taeyeon asked

“yup, But they only know the name of our group” Jiyeon answered with a weak voice

“why you look so sad about that?” Taeyeon asked

“what good is it, if they dont know us?” Jiyeon answered

“I think it’s a go-- taeyeon couldn't finish her sentence when they heard someone shouting inside the canteen..

 

“hey! you.. if you don't want to get hurt give me your money!” the skinny girl said

 

the girl gave her money to the skinny girl,

 

“who is that?” taeyeon asked

“who? the one who bullied or the one who got bullied?” Jiyeon asked

“the skinny one” Taeyeon answered

“ahh.. that's Goo Hara,” Jiyeon answered  “don't be involved with her, I heard that she has a friend and suitors who is senior here.. that's why she act like that..

“but it does'nt mean she has the right to act like that” Taeyeon said looking at the petite girl who was now looking down

 

“tae-tae,, please don't involve with her” Jiyeon said

“but that girl were going to cry,” Taeyeon said while looking at the girl who  got bullied

 

“only this?” Hara asked angrily

“that's all I have” the petite girl said while tearing up

 

Hara got angry and hit the girl

Taeyeon saw that, and couldn’t take it anymore…

 

Jiyeon grabbed her hand “tae-tae, if you help her, we will end up in trouble”

 

“I dont care!!!” taeyeon shouted as she jerked her best friends hands.. and Jiyeon exactly knew Taeyeon is dead serious…

 

“if you dont want to help her I will” Taeyeon said angrily as she walked towards the skinny and petite girl… Jiyeon followed her

“Yah! Goo Hara!!!” Taeyeon shouted taking the attention of all students inside the canteen “don’t you think you’re making a scene here?”

“you’re quite famous here but what I’m doing right now isn’t part of your business” Hara said “so, why don’t you just go?”

“yeah… that’ what exactly I’m going to do” Taeyeon said as she grabbed the petite girls arms and lead it to outside the canteen

 

“What do you think you're doing?” Hara asked angrily

“you! what do you think you’re doing huh? are you crazy!!!”

 

Hara felt embarrassed, cause it's the first time that someone go against her and then she suddenly hit Taeyeon's face..Jiyeon saw that, and hit back on Hara's face.. Hara lost her balance.. She can't even get up on her own.. That’s why the two girls who are with her helped her..

 

“we need to leave,” the girl said while holding Hara.. as she saw Yuri and Sooyoung coming

“they're the "ChoJiTaeRi", I don't think it’s a good idea to fight with them now”. The other girl said

 

 

Hara can't help but leave, while saying angrily “You'll pay for this!!!”

 

“tae-tae.. are you alright?” Jiyeon asked.

“why did you hit her, why did you interfere?” Taeyeon asked

“if I didn’t do that you’re going to beat her to pulp, we might end up in really big trouble” Jiyeon answered....

“whatever” Taeyeon said..

 

“are you okay?” the petite girl asked worriedly

“yeah,, it's  nothing” Taeyeon answered

“thank you and sorry” the girl said in a weak voice

“it’s nothing.. I really want to teach that girl a lesson” Taeyeon said

 

“are you gonna be okay?” Yuri asked

“you heard her, she said that you’re going to pay for what you did” Sooyoung said

“don’t worry, she just said that to scare us”. Taeyeon said

 

“good morning Mrs. Kim” Jiyeon greeted Taeyeon's mother

“good morning” Mrs. Kim replied

“is tae-tae here?” Jiyeon asked

“she's in her room, sleeping” Mrs. Kim replied

“still sleeping?! that girl! can I go to her room?” jiyeon asked

“of course,, and please wake her up” Mrs. Kim said

 

Jiyeon opened Taeyeon’s room quietly and then looked at the bed.. She saw Taeyeon sleeping soundly..

Jiyeon run to Taeyeon’s bed and jump like a kid…

 

“Yah! stop that!” Taeyeon said half-asleep

 

but Jiyeon pretend that she didn't heard anything and continue on what she's doing

 

“fine, fine” taeyeon sat on his bed..

“good morning, sleepyhead” Jiyeon said

“what's good in the morning when you're disturbing me while I’m sleeping” Taeyeon said

 

Jiyeon look at her while smiling..

 

“what?” Taeyeon asked

“nothing” Jiyeon replied

“you woke me up just for nothing?” taeyeon asked

“if yes?” Jiyeon asked

 

Taeyeon took his pillow ant threw it to Jiyeon.. “get out!”

“Fine, I will tell Sooyoung and Yuri that you don't want to come cause you want to sleep” Jiyeon said as she got down the bed

 

as soon as she heard that taeyeon suddenly run and block the door.. “where are you going?”

“just there. we just want to play. so please get out of my way” Jiyeon answered

“play what?” Taeyeon asked

 

Jiyeon's phone suddenly ringing..

 

“is taeyeon coming?” Sooyoung asked

“she said she----“ jiyeon couldn't finish her sentence, when Taeyeon  took the phone from her

 

“Yobuseyo?..Sooyoung” Taeyeon said

“youre not coming with us?” Sooyoung asked

“of course I am, Jiyeon was just joking” Taeyeon said

“Ok, just hurry” Sooyoung said then hang up..

 

“It was fun” Yuri said

“yeah,, but I'm so tired” Taeyeon said

“of couse yoou will,, you almost destroyed the button in arcade” Jiyeon said

 

while all of them are laughing.. Yuri saw a familiar face..

 

“is that the girl you two helped yesterday?” Yuri asked

“yeah.. its.....” taeyeon remember that they didn't ask her name

“hey!” sooyoung called

 

the girl noticed them..

 

“anneonghaseyo” the girl said

“what are you doing here?” Taeyeon asked

“do you live here?” Sooyoung asked

“ani..me and my father are looking for a house, this place is a walking distance from our school” the girl answered “do you have any idea where can I find the house near here?”

“sorry but I don't know.. but if I found something I will tell you” Jiyeon said

“kansahamnida” the girl said

“were going now” Jiyeon said

“be careful on your way” the girl said

“you too and before we forgot I’m Jiyeon and you are?” Jiyeon asked

“ahh.. im sorry I didn't tell you my name” the girl said  “I’m Sunny”

“Sunny, this is Taeyeon, Sooyoung and Yuri” Jiyeon said while pointing to the girls

 

 

PRESENT......(front of jiyeon's grave)

 

“jiyeon-ah.. ottoke?” Sunny said, crying “s-sorry... sorry.. ...I promise to protect you, but I can't do anything”

 

 

FLASHBACK....

 

after the class, the Chojitaeri are going home together  when Sooyoung saw Sunny..

 

“Sunny!!!” Sooyoung called

 

Jiyeon run towards Sunny

 

“are you busy?” jiyeon asked

“Sort of” Sunny answered

“there's a house near from us..the owner sell it.. I can help you go there, wanna take a look?” Jiyeon asked

“I do, but I have a meeting with the other officer of my class” Sunny said

“Ahhh..what time are you going to finish?” Jiyeon asked

“Probably seven.. why?” Sunny asked

 

Jiyeon look at her watch.. Its 5:45

 

“I will wait for you” Jiyeon answered

“you don't have to, I will just go there later” Sunny said

“but if you go later, it’s gonna be dark and you don’t know the exact place” Jiyeon said

“but...” Sunny couldn't finish her words when her classmate called her

“Just go to library, I will wait there” Jiyeon said

 

when Sunny left

 

“why don't we just played volleyball, instead in library while waiting for her?” Yuri asked

“I thought you have to leave early because you’re mother called you?” Jiyeon asked

“ahh.. I almost forgot... but are you sure it's okay for me to leave now?” Yuri asked

“it’s okay” Jiyeon said

“I also need to leave my father said that she wanted me to help my mother in our house” Sooyoung said

 

Yuri and Sooyoung left together 

Taeyeon and Jiyeon inside the library.. it’s already 6:30.. When Taeyeon's phone ring…

 

“Jiyeon my mother asked me to go to market to buy something” Taeyeon said

“ahh..it’s okay.. just 30 minutes and Sunny will be there.. be careful on your way” Jiyeon said

 

Sunny came 7:15

“jiyeon-ssi, sorry.. the meeting last longer than I thought” Sunny explained

“it’s okay.. and just call me Jiyeon, its more comfortable”

 

“Jiyeon, thank you for helping me”. Sunny said

“it's nothing, but I want to take this opportunity to say sorry” Jiyeon said

“huh? sorry for what?” Sunny asked

“for helping you late..taeyeon really wanted to help you sooner but I stop her” Jiyeon said

“it’s okay.. I should be the one to say sorry, because of me there is a possibility that all of you will be in trouble.” Sunny said “But I’m really thankful for what you did”

 

“my house is there” Jiyeon said while pointing there house they’re done checking the house.. Sunny called her dad to tell that she already found a house..

 

“thank you” Sunny said

“it's nothing..you should be stop saying thank you I’m being uncomfortable” Jiyeon said playfully “but instead of saying thank you, why dont you just go in our house and have a dinner and I don't take no for an answer”

 

“ahhhh.. It’s really delicious.. thank you Mrs. Park” Sunny said happily

“its nothing..” Mrs. Park replied while smiling

 

“good evening Mr. and Mrs. Park. I’m going to leave now”. Sunny said

“be careful on your way” Mr. Park said

“come and visit again” Mrs. Park said..

“I will..” Sunny replied

“mom, I’m going with her until she can ride a cab” Jiyeon said..

“no need, I Can go on my own” Sunny said

“I’m not taking no for an answer” Jiyeon said

 

when they were at the end of the street, waiting for a cab the street was dark and no people could possibly pass by cause it's already late..

but then they saw 3 men standing there looking at them, holding  something....

 

 

“Hi miss!” one man said

“Dont mind them” Jiyeon said

 

the 3 man walk towards them, while holding a wood. Sunny and Jiyeon can't help but to step backward.

Jiyeon took his phone, she remember that taeyeon is the last one who called her, so that she can easily dialled taeyeon's number even without looking…

Taeyeon's phone was ringing but no answer.. Taeyeon left her phone inside her room because they're having their dinner

Jiyeon knows that there is a possibility that she can defend herself but Sunny can't. she can't risk Sunny.

 

“Who are you?” Jiyeon asked, while still calling taeyeon

“Is she the girl who hit Hara?” the other man asked

“yeah” the other man answered

 

Taeyeon's phone stops ringing. But still no answer..Jiyeon dont have a choice but to do a voice message.

She took the phone near then grabbed Sunny's hand, and run as fast as they could..

 

“Tae-tae, where are you huh? If you heard this come and find me as soon as possible, but if you won't come now I guess I'm really dead”

 

Taeyeon go to her room after dinner, she looks at her phone. It has 3 missed calls from Jiyeon and a voice message

as soon as she heard that , she called Sooyoung and Yuri. Taeyeon's house is 5 houses away from Jiyeon while Sooyoung and Yuri become neighbours because like Sunny they want their house near from their school, they live 1 street away from Jiyeon and Taeyeon

 

“Mrs. Park, is Jiyeon here?” Taeyeon asked

“I don’t think she's back already, she walk Sunny there while waiting for a cab” Mrs. Park answered

“Is something wrong?” Mrs. Park asked

“no, nothing.. I just want to ask something” Taeyeon answered

 

Jiyeon and Sunny locked at the corner and have nowhere to run to

 

“Looks like your luck have drained” one man said

“now, you’re going to pay for what you did to Hara” the other man said

 

one man holding a wood walk towards Sunny and Jiyeon, he's going to hit them.. Jiyeon dodge it then she kick the hand of man, when she saw that the man is in pain she threw a punch on a man's face and kick his stomach..

the two man saw that , they attack Jiyeon together

one man is going to hit Jiyeon with the wood that his holding but Jiyeon grab his wrist, she kick him in stomach and punch him in his face from left to right.

the last man standing still holding a wood but Jiyeon kick his hand and the wood fell., the man suddenly threw a punch on Jiyeons face and she easily dodge it, she hit the man's face then she jumped and kick the man in his head, it's like a knockout the man fell and he became unconscious(well Jiyeon knows how to fight)

She goes to Sunny, but when she grab Sunny's hand, the first man who she thought is still unconscious hit his back using a wood. Jiyeon felt the pain, she can't fight back cause the man hit her again.. She fell down.. while saying..

 

“Sunny!! run!! call for help!”

 

the 2nd man who is unconscious a while ago can stand now...she kick Jiyeon on stomach

 

“You !!” the man said,

 

Sunny run as fast as she could...and the two men saw it

 

go after her!.. the 2nd man said to the man who hit Jiyeon a wood

 

Then suddenly the man who goes after Sunny fell right before Jiyeon's eyes..., then she completely black out…

 

at the hospital...

 

“how is she?” yuri asked

“we don't know yet” Sunny answered while crying “it's all my fault”

“Of course not” Sooyoung said comforting her

“If Taeyeon and Jiyeon didn't helped me” Sunny said

“it has nothing to do with us saving you” Taeyeon said

“yes it is... I heard the man said that were going to pay for what we did to Hara” Sunny said

“that !!” Sooyoung said..

 

 

the next day.. (tuesday morning)

 

“are you going to visit Jiyeon today?” Yuri asked sunny

“yeah..” Sunny answered

 

then they saw Hara

they also found out that one of the 3 man is Ok Taecyeon one of Goo Hara's suitor..

 

“you ! Hara!!” Sooyoung shouted as she called her

“why..?” hHara asked

“why. huh?” Taeyeon smirked as she hit Hara's face,, hit from left "it's for Jiyeon" she hit her again from right "it's for Sunny" 

 

 

 Sunny entered the room where Jiyeon is staying.. But she did not saw Jiyeon..

 

“where did she go?” Sunny asked herself..

 

after a few minutes.. she heard Jiyeon,,

 

“Sunny!” Jiyeon said while she's standing on the door..

 

“where did you go?” sunny asked

“I bought some soda” Jiyeon answered..  “by the way it's already dark outside.. why did you go here alone?”

“I just want to see if you're okay” Sunny answered..

“I’m fine..and don’t think it's your fault because it's totally not” Jiyeon said

“but…” Sunny said

“it's not your fa.---t..” Jiyeon couldn't finish his words.. When sunny suddenly hugged her while crying..

“t-thank you..” Sunny said

“for what?” Jiyeon asked

“for not leaving me” Sunny answered

“I won't ever leave you no matter what... Promise...” Jiyeon said while smiling..

“I wont ever leave you too...and promise I will protect you someday”

“jiyeon-ah.. how can I protect you know?” Sunny said

“how can I keep my promise now??!”

“you’re a LIAR!! you told me, you promise me.. you won't ever leave us.. but where are you now?”
