~ Part 1 ~

~ Taeyeon’s POV ~

I am getting ready for my second day of work with our new boss and friend Jaejoong-ah. He proved to us on his very first day that he is the rightful owner of our company. He looks quite vulnerable, but whoever thinks so is so damn wrong.

Today I’m wearing a silver short dress with a white belt around my waist. At the moment I'm trying to find my pair of white flat shoes. Ah! Found it! Now, to tie my hair- No wait…Siwon likes it untied probably. So, I comb my hair and pat it. Perfect!

Today is Siwon’s birthday.

Strangely, Siwon’s favourite colour happens to be white. I don’t want to be obvious, so I'm wearing white minimally…but I'm still wearing it. Hehe. And I'm going to try and do things Siwon likes, such as not tying my hair up.

I sit in front of my dressing table. Applying light silver eye-shadow and black eye-liner, I search for a light rosy pink lipstick. Ooh, it’s there. A little blush would be nice. Is it too much? Gotta call up the Queen Of Make-Up. Jessica to the rescue!

“Hello Jessica?”

“Yes sweetheart? Getting ready for the big day?” she teases me. She knows I like Siwon. He’s just so handsome! And she also told me his secret: he likes me too! Yay! But he doesn’t know I know that he likes me, and he doesn’t know that I know he doesn’t know that I like him, and also that I like him back. Haha, did I manage to confuse you?

“Quit the talk. I'm sending you a picture of me right now. Tell me if I'm ok.”

“Sure, send it over.”

-sending-

“You look cute and pretty. Just perfect for the birthday boy.”

“Thanks,” I blush. “Alright, heading out now.”

“Ok! I'm on my way too.”

-Office-

Oh look, Jessica and Hyoyeon are already there! As I come out of the elevator, I spot Jaejoong-ah with them. He smiles at me. I smile back. “Jaejoong-ah! Good morning.”

“Good morning Taeyeon-ah. Looks like you’re prepared for Siwon?”

I look at him puzzled. Jessica winks at me. She told him! But does he know about Siwon’s side?

“He likes you too, I know you know that.”

Okay, I guess he can read minds. Anyway, he answered my question. I smile coyly.

“Okay everyone, get ready,” Hyoyeon announces. She was at the window all this time. Everyone is getting ready to wish Siwon now.

The elevator is here. Siwon steps out.

“Happy Birthday Siwon!”

Siwon looks completely surprised. Then he smiles, and bows, “Thanks everyone.”

Jaejoong-ah goes over and pats him, “I’ll give you comparatively less work today.” Siwon laughs.

Then he looks at me. Looks like he froze by my beauty. I smile, which probably stunned him to the extent of fainting I think. He’s standing so still I wonder if he’s gonna fall. He is officially freaking me out with his wide eyes and partly open mouth now. I see Jaejoong-ah hit him softly. Then he whispers something.

~ Normal POV ~

“Siwon, come back to normal would you?” Jaejoong whispered.

Siwon blinked and looked at him. He smiled nervously and everyone began chuckling within. After giving him another pat of encouragement, Jaejoong left. Siwon advanced towards Taeyeon with a shy smile, “Wow…you look really pretty.”

“Thanks.”

Siwon thought, ‘Did she do this special make-up for me? Best birthday present EVER!’ He shook his head.

“Alright everyone, back to work!” Jessica said aloud.

Siwon suddenly remembered the file. Quickly bringing the black object out, he paced to Jaejoong’s room. “Jaejoong-ah. Here it is.”

“Oh, right. Thank you.”

Siwon crossed his legs and leaned back. Jaejoong opened the file. “Theft?” he looked up.

Siwon sighed, “It looks like that. So far, the only thing I can make out is stealth and theft, and I doubt one thing.” He came closer to Jaejoong who leaned over as well. “Is it from our company?”

Jaejoong was caught by surprise. “You mean…”

Siwon straightened up. “I think, the previous owner of the Jung Homes Company might have…stolen a part of our organisation…somehow…and I think Heechul-sshi hid it from us.”

“…”

“All he told you was the organisation being a fraud case. But he never said anything in particular. And I just found out it was stolen, either partly or wholly. As far as my research goes, it is very close to ours in a few ways, like it being a furniture business like ours and the location of the factory and office. So it must be something like that. Please ask Heechul-sshi about it.”

“I will.”

“Alright, I’ll go back to my work then,” he got up.

“Siwon,” Jaejoong called. Siwon turned around, “Thanks.”

Siwon smiled. “Anything for you my friend.”

As soon as Siwon left, Jaejoong took his phone out. “Hal-abeoji.”

“Yes Jaejoong?”

“I know Suwon is quite far from here, but can we meet?”

~ Changmin’s POV ~

I wonder where Junho is. It’s the same as yesterday.

So I have this liking towards Kim Junho, the tallest guy I’ve ever seen, just an inch more than me. Haha. Did you think he towered over me? Kidding! I tower over people, and yes maybe he is taller than me, but just one inch really. He’s handsome, like me. I don’t understand why people call me cute. Alright, I admit it! I'm cute and handsome. I love myself. Haha. You’re probably freaking out now.

We work in the same company. And the same sector. And our rooms are beside each other… That’s how I met him. When I first joined here after university, he gave me a warm welcome. We’ve been friends since then. And, it was never planned but, we always meet and have a little snack at 10 o’ clock every morning. I love food, and I'm a great cook. Yeah I brag about myself a lot. Kidding! I don’t. I'm just telling you about myself. I joke a lot don’t I?

I developed this very little teeny tiny crush since last month. I find him smiling when he talks to me, always. I'm trying to get rid of this feeling, but it won't go…I think it’ll go within a few more days or so. Wait, I have been thinking that since last month. Okay, I need to find myself a girlfriend right away.

Put that aside, where is he? Even yesterday he was late. When I asked, he said ‘work’. Well duh! We work! I wanted to know exactly what work it might be. It looked like he was hesitant. He never hid things from me before…

Does he have a girlfriend now? But, why wouldn’t he tell me?

I suddenly feel down. I'm done with my food, looks like he won't be coming. It’s already 10:10. I stand to leave when I see him.

“Hey! Don’t go! I just came!”

“Uh, I'm done actually…”

“Well why didn’t you wait for me?” he asks. Then he pouts. Aww, he’s so cute sometimes, I suddenly want to pinch his cheeks but it’ll look wrong.

“Uh,” I try to find an excuse as I suddenly remember my grief. I don’t want to be near him right now. “I have work… Sorry, I’ll wait tomorrow.”

“Hey, I should be the one saying sorry. I can't believe Yunho glued me to his chair when he knows that everyday I-” he stops. Wait, what was he going to say next? I was expecting him to say that he wants to come and meet me, but that would be wishful thinking only. He coughs, “Well… um, do you have to leave right now?”

Now that I know that Mr Boss was holding him back, I change my mind, “Alright, I’ll stay.”

Junho looks so happy that I blush unconsciously. I look down. It’s just a negligible crush, then why is my heart beating so fast…

Yoochun steps in. Yawning as always, he looks around. “Guess what, today Tiffany was looking at me.”

We wait for him to continue.

“I think she likes me. Why would someone just stare at me while I work?”

We nod. I look at Junho through the corner of my eye. He looks at me back. We both know a secret. I’m telling you and you can't tell anybody. … Junsu likes Yoochun.

“What? No response?”

Should we? Actually we did, but mutually.

Yoochun sighs. “Sad thing is, I can't return her feelings, cuz I have my own someone to look at.” He smiles at us foolishly. This time I turn to look at Junho who is looking back at me. First we were scared of Tiffany. Before we could even sigh in relief that he doesn’t like her back, he says he likes someone. That’s even more dangerous!

“Did you guys become dumb or something? Hello, a friend is talking here.”

“No, we just want to hear the full thing first.” That’s right. I agree with Junho just now. We need to know the whole thing before we react.

“Oh okay. I thought you guys weren’t listening or something.”

“We always do hyung!” I say.

“Thanks. Anyways, it’s a guy so don’t freak out.”

Junho and I suddenly see some hope somewhere.

“And Junho, don’t faint.”

Our hope just got bigger!

“I'm not kidding: It’s Junsu.”

I start clapping without realising it, and when I do I start laughing. “WOW!” I’m so happy! They like each other! I turn to look at Junho whose expression hasn’t changed yet. I shake him roughly. “Junho-hyung!”

“YES!” He screams out. It’s a good thing we’re the only ones here.

“Wha-?” Yoochun asks, obviously clueless.

“Junsu likes you too!” Junho leaks out and quickly covers his mouth. It’s too late.

“Eh?! Really?” Yoochun looks really happy. Then I spot someone similar to Junho. Oh…dear… it’s Junsu. I hope he heard Yoochun’s part before Junho’s, or else he might have a misunderstanding.

“Junsu-hyung!” I quickly run and grab him. I whisper in his ears, “Yoochun-hyung just told us that he likes you!”

Junsu looks a little tensed. Maybe it wasn’t the right thing to do? But if I didn’t, then he would have thought that his own twin was betraying him! I couldn’t let that happen.

Yoochun looks flustered although he is smiling a little. Too early…oh no. This is a bad, messy situation.

“Let’s leave,” Junho whispers to me. I nod, but I feel uncomfortable by our closeness.

~ Normal POV ~

As they waited for the other one to say something, the atmosphere just got heavier. Yoochun sighed. “…Well, since we, uh, know now about our feelings…can we…”

Junsu didn’t look up.

“Can we go out?”

Junsu looked up. He smiled a little, “Okay.”

Yoochun nodded. “Want to have dinner together?”

“S-sure…”

“I’ll pick you up at the entrance. We can go to a restaurant.”

“Alright.”

“Excuse me,” Yoochun said as he walked away from the awkward place. Junsu breathed. He smiled.
