Love Kills

Love Kills

Boring. Plain. That was how Myungsoo described his life, it was how he saw himself. He was a normal 20 year old guy, with a normal job at a coffee shop, a normal guy with normal friends. Nothing more. He was tall, fairy good looking and had brown, dark hair. People usually said his stare was rather creepy, that he could scare death just by looking at it with his eyes. He couldn't help but laugh every time he heard those things.

But then what could he expect from people who didn't knew him, who had no idea who the real him was? He just allowed them to say whatever he wanted and he would go with the flow. What could he do? Tell them to stop and stop being jackasses? No, he actually had some fun when they said those things. It made him forget about his plain life and made him smile.

People thought he was just another school drop out, who had no ambitions, who had no plans for the future but that was a lie. He had dreams, he had plans. He didn't wanted to leave school but life made him do so, and he knew that he was smartest than most people. He just chose a different path. Sometimes he regretted, but he couldn't do anything.

Since he was little, his father told him what he had to do as soon as he turned 16. it was his destiny and nothing could change that, and no one could possibly know or understand what he was going through. “Myungsoo, move. We've costumers!”

He looked to the side and saw his boss, the owner of that place. His name was Sunggyu, and Myungsoo knew better than anyone he couldn't say anything against him. He was a very nice man, but when it came to work, he was a nightmare. He just nodded and as soon he went to the tables to great the costumers, he saw a couple enter the coffee house. Everyone stopped talking, everyone stopped eating and drinking.

Everyone was looking at that couple, everyone, even him. He stopped moving as soon he saw who just entered the coffee house. It was probably one of the most handsome, perfect couples. He was tall, had foxy eyes and a very, very handsome face and probably one of the most charming smiles ever.

She was his perfect match. She had brown, long hair, beautiful eyes. Her skin was white, but her cheeks had a very light color of pink, making her look irresistible and she was wearing one of the most beautiful smiles Myungsoo saw. He could swear his heart had stopped as soon as he saw her. It was like time stopped; every sound disappeared, his whole body froze and he just looked at her.

She was holding the guy's arm and smiling at him. It was more than obvious that they were dating and that they looked beyond happy with each other. But Myungsoo couldn't help but stare at her. It was like she just came from a magazine and was now there. For him to see. “Hello, do you have a free table for us?”

The man asked but Myungsoo continued staring at her, not hearing a single thing. The man looked continued looking to him, waiting for an answer and she just looked at her boyfriend, probably thinking how weird this waiter was. “Sure we do. Please follow me!” Sunggyu said with a smile and took the beautiful couple to the last free table they had while Myungsoo stood where he was, not saying a single thing. The words just wouldn't come out, no matter how much he tried.

“Seriously Myungsoo, focus or I'll fire you!” Sunggyu said as he came back and pushed the younger man to move. He looked to the couple one last time and he couldn't help but stare at her. She was beautiful. It was like she came from his dreams and was now there, for him. “Move!” Myungsoo looked to the older man and just nodded. What else could he do?

“That waiter was staring at you like you're some sort of angel that felt from the sky.” The guy said, ignoring the stares he was getting from the women behind him. He was used to it now and he seriously didn't cared. Old women, young women...he didn't cared! He just had eyes for a single woman, and she was right there in front of him. “Don't say things like that! It's embarrassing and cheesy.”

She said and he just smiled even more making her blush a little. No matter how much time they spent together, she always felt like it was her first date with him. “Sorry...and too bad for him. You're already mine.” He made a pause and took her hand.

“Right Krystal?” He asked and she just nodded. Usually people thought she was cold and mean, but that was just the image she gave to the people she didn't liked. When she liked someone, like she liked her boyfriend, she would just be herself. “He was probably jealous of you Minsoo!”

They smiled to each other and continued talking, about random things, like they usually did. She started talking about her sister was annoying her saying she was spending too much time with him and not with her and how her friends were saying the same thing. “They are just jealous.”

Minsoo said with a smile that Krystal couldn't help but love. That was one of the many reasons she felt for him. His smile. It made her feel so safe, so protected and that was just what she wanted. And she was so distracted she didn't even noticed the intense gaze on her back, not even for a second.

Myungsoo couldn't help but stare. He could be away from them, but he could hear everything. He had a perfect hearing and was hearing everything they were saying. So her name was Krystal? It matched her perfectly, didn't it?

He was looking at her, and just couldn't stop. The way she was laughing, she way she was smiling, the way she was talking to the other guy was intoxicating him. He didn't even knew that was possible just by looking at her. It was like the whole world stopped, like people around him didn't existed, just her. Just her smile, just her laughter and nothing else.

This is bad. He thought to himself and started biting his lower lip. He tried to focus on something else, he tried to look to other people, he tried to think about something else, something at all, but all he could think of was her. This is really bad!

He wasn't sure if he could handle his impulses, he wasn't sure if he could take it all. Not this again. He knew what would happen to him if he became obsessed with something. He wouldn't forget that thing no matter how much he tried, he couldn't forget about it, never.

“Myungsoo, is something wrong?” Asked one of his co-works but he just shook his head and walked away from the coffee shop and walked to the back. He needed to catch some air. His head was spinning and he could swear he was smelling a sweet perfume around him. He tried to calm himself down, but he just couldn't.

His heart was beating incredibly fast, his hands sweating and he was ready to collapse. Biting his lower lip he looked to the blue sky and wished, wished his desires wouldn't take the best of him...because if it did, he would die.
