CHAPTER five  “Fight”

Kris just lowered his head, he stood silently at their front door at Tao and Chen rooms, while keep his pride and waiting with full of patiently getting scolded by their manager. The others at inside also keep their silence, don’t want intterupt , afraid it will become more worst than their expected.

Lay at beside Tao, just watch their youngest in silently. His hands keep rubbing softly the maknae’s hand. A wet towel have been put on his forehead, Tao still in unconscious state. The doctor just got back after check up Tao while minutes ago, and give him a some few pills for reduce his fever.

They also change the clothes Tao’s wore into a comfy pajama. Luhan start pinching his forehead softly, a soft of grunt escaped from him.

“Our manager are being so harsh at Kris.”

Xiumin who heard that, fastly give a sign to shut up or Kris will be got scolded longer than before. Luhan just made a face while rolled his eyes.

“Our manager are coming. Just keep silence and don’t dare to speak up.” said Xiumin lastly, before take a seat at Chen’s bed pretend like nothing happen.

A door are opened slowly, their manager start walk inside slowly, got followed by Kris at his back.

“How is he? Zitao still don’t wake up?” Their manager start asking.

“Not yet, ge. I think his fever will get down tomorrow. “ answer Lay, put a small smile at his face.

“Okay then, you guys should rest too. Just let Zitao rest fully, we have a long schedule tomorrow.” said their manager at last before go out from that rooms. Kris let out a long sigh, then start speak up.

“You all go to sleep first, I will take care Tao tonight. In case, if he wake up or-“

“No. You are not doing it alone, Duizhang. We will also take care him tonight. We take a shift, one hour for one person to watch Zitao.” Luhan sent a serious stare at Kris. The leader just smiled a little, no need to fight with that deer right now, he looks damn serious.

“Okay then, if you all one like that. I should agreed too. I will watch Zitao fir-“

“How about you take a rest first, hyung. A leader should be the first one wake up tomorrow morning right?” Chen cut off with a wide smile plastered at his face.

“Okay okay guys. I will go sleep first. Remember, one hour for one person. Wake up me, after one hour passed.”

“Yeah yeah just go sleep, Duizhang.” said Chen, who are start pushing Kris to walk out from his room.

“No need to push me, Chen. I know how to walk.”

“Yeah yeah. I know, but still if I not push you out, you will keep insist us to go sleep-“

“Yah, I understood. Fine, I will go sleep right now.”

Xiumin chuckled a little, heard a bickering argument at outside. Luhan also smiled a little.

“You all go sleep first, I will watch Zitao first.” Xiumin turn his head at Lay, who still sit at beside Tao.

“No, Yixing ah. You need sleep too. Moreover, your body need most rest than the others.” Luhan start speak up. Xiumin know, they will start made some argument, if he not stopped them right now.

“How about you both go to sleep? You both look so stressed with what happen tonight. Don’t worry, I will watch Zitao. If something happen, I will wake up you both too. How is it?”

“Maybe you are right, hyung. Let’s just sleep first, Lu. You can handle this alone, Xiumin hyung?” Lay start get up, and asking Xiumin before pull the deer together with him to get a rest.

“Of course, I can. Go to rest.” “Okay, hyung.” Luhan just pouted, let the main dancer pull him to their rooms.

While Xiumin, just stared at Tao who are lying peacefully in his bed. A guilty feestart filling him slowly, if he didn’t asked Tao the question, this thing might be would not happen. A soft sigh escaped from him.

“Get well soon, panda.”

‘They are dissapointed with you.’

Tao widened his eyes. A dark surrounded him. He searching the voice at surrounding him.

Who is that?!

‘Tao, we are dissapointed with you.’

‘You not worth to be with us.’

‘You always crying over because something, stop being a kids!’

‘We don’t love you.’

‘You just our burden’

Tao froze at his place, his eyes widened open, his tears start trickling down slowly. At front him, is his geges. His geges.

Ge, do you all really meant it?

He flinched slightly, a soft breath from his tickling his ears. Tao feels his body being numb. A hands are hugging him from his back.

‘See, I told you. They all not love you.’

This voice. It’s him.

Tao’s breath start shortened, he saw with his eyes. His geges are leaving him. No! Ge, don’t leave me!

‘I love you, didi er’

‘I love you, didi er’

Tao cannot move, he feels his body in that person embrace. The mantra ‘I love you, didi er’ start suffocate him. Its feels disgusting.

Let me go. I want my geges. My geges.

‘I’m your geges, Tao.’

No.

His breath shoretened again. The suffocate feels. This suffocate feels. His chest is hurt.

Help me, ge.

“Ge!”

His eyes widened open. His chest up and down, panting hard. The wet towel in his forehead falling down at his side. Just a dream right? No a nightmare. He start to get up from his bed. He whining in pain, when his headache him again. The dizziness from yesterday still killing him.

‘Where’s Chen ge?’ He frowned, try to get up slowly.

He opened the door slowly. A sound of talking at kitchen greeted him. Tao frowned again. He start got into kitchen slowly.

“No, with his condition. I don’t think he can make it, Kris.”

Tao stuck standing at wall behind the kitchen. He heard all his ge talk about him.

“He is still in fever. Don’t make me say a to you, Kris.”

“Calm down, Luhan hyung. Kris is not saying, he will force Tao to go the show today.”

“Are you siding him, Chen?”

Tao on behind the wall, biting his lips hardly.

“Oh hyung, I’m not siding anyone-“

“It's really sounded like you is siding him?!”

Tao start trembling, he don’t want his ge getting fight because of him.

“Luhan, slow your voice. You will wake up him.”

“Ugh I’m done. You all seems siding Kris too much. For god of sake’s, Tao is having a damn fever right now. Why did you all still want Tao, goes to recording the show?!”

“Luhan, please hear on me once. Not that-“

“No, Yifan. I don’t want hear anything from you. Do you think Tao a robot? Thinks about him once.”

They all on inside the kitchen, didn’t know their maknae still standing behind the wall. Tao who cannot stand too well, with a sudden dizzy coming is killing him, he start slipped down slowly. A headache start attacking him again, this suffocate feels surrounding him again. He cannot breath. Not this is what he want.

“Luhan, stop it! I’m start getting tired with this thing. Can you consider how Tao’s feels when we told him like this? ‘Hey, Tao you will rest today. While we will go recording a variety show without you.’ How do you think Tao will be feels huh? Tao is the one who a very sensitive here. He will get hurt when you told him like that. We once made a promise, right. We will be through any circumstances as one, as together. Please do understand Tao too. We know, he is having fever. At least, we will support him. Moreover, we doing it for our fans, you know too right, how much Tao loves his fans. He never want make our fans got dissapointed with him. “

Xiumin give a thin smile at Luhan. He don’t want his brothers fighting each other because just a little thing. They always talk each other in peaceful to solve a problems or get agreement. But this time, is turn out of control. Xiumin knows, if Tao heard about this fight, it will hurt Zitao more.

Luhan lowered his head and let out a soft sigh.

“Thanks hyung.”

“It’s okay. I’m a eldest one here. So I cannot bear to watch you both fight.” Kris smiles a little.

“Well, I will check up Tao now.”

“I will bring the porridge. You go first, Duizhang.” said Lay, who are busy cutting a fruit for a breakfast to Tao.

Kris just nodding slightly then walk out from the kitchen, and head to their maknae’s room. He walk slowly at the door, who are opened a little.

“Tao er?” A smile plastered at Kris’s face, when he saw their maknae still on his bed, sleeping peacefully. The leader go to the bed, slowly tried to not make any sound.

“Tao er, wake up.” Kris shook Tao’s shoulder softly.

A soft grunt escaped from their maknae, his eyes flattering open. Kris chuckled slightly.

“Hey wake up, panda. You need to eat your breakfast and medicine.”

The maknae give a whining sound and pouted face, while his hands still rubbing his eyes sleepily.

“Ge.. I don’t want eat medicine.. It’s bitter..”

“No. It’s not bitter.”

“Yes , it is ge.” Tao start get up from his sleep. He still pouted, try make a pleading looks at Kris.

“Don’t do that face, Tao. See, you is still burning. Your fever, it doesn’t become more worst.. right?” Tao start feeling guilty when saw the Duizhang worried face.

“Uh Duizhang, don’t worry. I promise. I will get better. I also can do our schedule today.”

Kris worries expression turn into the pained one. Now a guilty feels also, burdened him. The maknae at beside him start getting more panicked.

“Uh Duizhang.. I’m okay. I'm really really okay. I can make it for today.” A tears start threatened to falls again. Kris who is realized the maknae looks want to cry, pull him softly into his embrace.

“Syuhhh.. Syuhh.. Don’t cry. Ge not angry with you. Don’t cry, okay.” Tao in his Duizhang embrace, sniffed slightly.

His tears start spilled slowly, even though he tried to stop from falling down. He cannot control his feelings anymore. Too much thing, he thinking right now . After, heard all his gege fighting a while ago in the kitchen. Tao tried to get up, and walk into his rooms again.

He know, he will be a burdened for them. He don’t want his gege worried more about him. He can do this alone. He afraid, he afraid, if he become more burdened to them, his gege would leave him. Alone. By himself. Tao don’t want that. Tao wants his gege.

He will do it, even though the headache still killing him. He will take a painkillers silently. Tao also, know his fever still not get down. He can feels too his body are burning. He doesn’t care if, his fever become more worst. He needs to be strong for his gege. Tao doesn’t want dissapointed his geges.

“Ge, am I your burden?”

“No, you not.”

“I won’t dissapointed you, ge. I will try my best.”

“Yeah, and I will be proud to you.”

Lay on front door, just smiling widely. He just standing at front door, with holding a tray of breakfast for Tao.
