Voluntary help!
Friends forever?'Goodbye Kikwang! See you tomorrow~' As Kikwang lived right next to me, we travelled back and forth school everyday.
That brought another problem.
'Hyosung ah! Remember to wake me up tomorrow, you forgot to do that today~' Sigh. See what I'm talking about? I just couldn't understand why should I wake him up every morning! I'm not his mother!
'Okay! But you should not depend on this alarm clock always! I may not be by your side everyday.' Someday, somehow, he would fall in love with one of the pretty girls out there and leave me... Maybe I can find a handsome boy too?
'You and I will stay together~ Remember our promise? Friends forever?' To be honest, maybe I just wanted to hear Kikwang saying this that I said my previous sentence. I just loved how sweet he's to keep this promise in mind. It makes me feel...valued.
'Kikwang, remind me why you need to reach school an hour before it starts tomorrow?'
'I need to help the juniors at school (yes, all girls) to finish their homework, they have difficulties and have asked me for help. Please Hyosung go to school with me tomorrow?'
I know he was going to say this. 'Why? The girls asked you to go and help not me!'
'I'm not very smart, at lease not as smart as you~ Please help your best friend!' Kikwang looked at me with his innocent round eyes. How can I say no to this pair of eyes?
I regretted my decision yesterday.
'Oppa, please help me?' 'No oppa me first!' 'Oppa...' 'Oppa!'
I couldn't understand how can Kikwang be so patient with them. He smiled through the whole process, helped everyone eventually (with the occasional help of mine, which, of course, received no response from the attention-seeking girls. They were busy staring at Kikwang.) and even promised to help them next time they needed him. Prince charming as usual.
'Well they are finally gone.' I signed in satisfaction when they are all done.
'Will you help me next time? Please? I couldn't handle them alone.' Kikwang asked.
I couldn't decline his request. I liked how he needed me. (Or so he said XD)
I muttered a yes, and I'm sure Kikwang heard me because he smiled widely like a ten-year-old kid. I hid my small smile by lowering my head. I didn't want him to know I'm pleased. I mean I should be angry about this matter!
Ring! The school bell rang just in time. We went back to our own seat.
'Hi! Hyosung ah, helping Kikwang again?' My friend sitting beside me, Jieun, asked.
'Yes, it's so tiring to handle with his fangirls!' I complained.
Before Jieun could reply, our class teacher came in.
'Good morning class! Before we started our lesson I would like to introduce your new classmate! Come in.'
'Hello!' A bright voice came from the door.
Chapter ends! XD I seems to have made Kikwang a little childish and dependent... What do you think? I'd show Hyosung's childish side next chapter, I believe they both are childish sometimes XD Comment if you like it! And I can't stop you if you comment to express your hate too! XD
