Chapter 13
Unknown DiaryChapter 13
Mir ran and ran until he felt the strong need for oxygen; he stopped for a minute to look around his surroundings - he was near the central park. Since it was still in the middle of the winter everything there was pure white, though the trees were leafless the snow that had fallen yesterday made them look even more stunning.
The boy walked again as he regained his need of oxygen, the pathway to the small bridge was about 10 minutes away and Mir had the time for himself; he took small steps as he looked up and saw the grey sky and watery sun through the silhouette of branches. Walking here makes Mir long for the warmth of his home and company of friends and family; he wanted just to go home and have his mother make his favorite dish and served him while he was under his duvet.
But the thought of that and the questions he would receive from his parents made him wanted to stay here forever - suddenly the cold winter gives off some kind of warmth to him due to the peace and how there is no sound, but just the quiet footsteps and small chat from the people walking and is all quiet and calm.
School has started and everything is back to normal. Students are chatting in the hallway talking about their holiday. Everyone seemed to be okay with being to school again; Mir on the other hand didn’t want to go after everything had happened. His mind was far away. Thinking about it, it made his heart flutter and ache, eyes lowered to the ground he didn’t look where he was going; until he stumbled in his step. He was lucky that someone was there to catch him. The only person with music sheets was the one and only Mr. Bbang.
Yongguk was just in time to catch Mir, everyone in the hallway was minding their own business - well most of them.
“You should be more careful Mir; we don’t want you to hurt yourself.” Yongguk’s gummy smile was what made the younger chuckle.
“I’m sorry Yon-… Mr. Bbang.” Mir blushed as he almost greeted his teacher informal.
“No problem. So what happened to your grades?” Mr. Bbang asked curiously.
“They are really good, if it was not for you, I would never raise my grades.” Mir said proudly and Mr. Bbang chuckled at the younger.
“Well I should be going.” The teacher said and ruffled the younger’s hair and left. Mir stood dazed and turned around to see his teacher walking; a smile was on his face. Thank you, for everything, teacher.
On the other side of the school was Joon looking at pile of textbooks, papers and documents. He was nervous to say at least, he was waiting for someone he thought was a good friend of his adorable puppy – Mir. Joon wanted to meet him and talk about everything - the other day seemed fresh in his memory as he recalled the younger running like crazy. The door creaked not a minute later, his thoughts soon leaving his mind.
“Why did you want to meet?” Cheondung asked.
“Please sit and I will tell you why I called you.” Joon said quietly as he organized everything. Cheondung did what he was told and he sat on one of the chairs and looked at the male waiting for answers.
“About the diary…” Joon had started but the younger male interrupted him.
“Didn’t I make myself clear that day?” The boy said angrily.
“I know but let me talk first.” Joon started. “… I know th
