Identity -- Hongbin
Hidden Powers Academy
A golden-haired, teenage boy runs. The ground under his feet cracks where he steps. He doesn't stop, even when his throat burns. He steps onto a rock, and stills. He exhales, and a burst of fire follows after it. He covers his mouth, as the rock cracks.
"Don't run."
He whips around, and stares at the man before him. "Why? Who are you?"
"Not important, but I know how to help you. What's your name?" He asks, walking up to him.
"Hongbin," he speaks, shifting on the cracking rock. It cracks more, panic shows on his face.
"Move up to your toes, and step lightly," the man commands. Hongbin pushes up, as parts fall away. "Come down."
Hongbin steps down, moving slowly to him. He stands beside the man, watching the rock fall away. The man smiles, nodding slowly at him.
"Thank you," Hongbin whispers, dipping his head down. The man pulls out a letter, presenting it to Hongbin.
"Stay on your toes. It'll help you not break anything. Drink water to prevent fire from burning through," the man speaks, as Hongbin takes the letter. Hongbin gasps at him, as another small burst of fire comes from his mouth. The man chuckles, fading from Hongbin's hearing. He looks up, finding himself alone. He drops a heel down. The ground cracks before he pulls it back up again.
