“His name is Kim Kibum…” I said.

“OUR Kim Kibum?!” Kyuhyun exclaimed.

I chuckled. “No silly. SHINee’s Kim Kibum.”

“Ah. Him? He’s known as a playboy.” Donghae said.

Kyuhyun growled. “Wait ‘til I get my hands on that boy…”

“Oppa. I don’t want you doing anything to him. It’s the past.”

“But he-”

“I don’t care what he did anymore. I don’t want anything more to do with him.”

Kyuhyun sighed, giving in.

“Okay but if anything happens, you have to promise to tell me.” Kyuhyun said.

“Me too.” Donghae said.

I chuckled. “Araso. I promise.”

“Anyways. We’re going to leave now.” Kyuhyun said.

“Wait. Donghae-sshi, can I talk to you?”

Donghae was left dumbfounded.

“W-what? Me?” Donghae stuttered.

I nodded my head.

Kyuhyun stayed there.

“Ahem ahem. I said, I wanted to talk to Donghae-sshi.” I signaled for Kyuhyun to leave us alone.

“Araso. Sheesh. Hyung, I’ll wait for you in the car.” Kyuhyun pouted, leaving.

“Donghae-sshi. Ah, no. Can I call you oppa?”

I threw my arms around Donghae & hugged him.

“Oppa, thank you for caring so much about me. You’re the first guy to ever care for me so much excluding Kyuhyun oppa.” I said.

Donghae slid his arms around my waist & hugged me tighter.

“______. I’m going to go now. If you need anything, I’ll always be there.” Donghae said, leaving.

- In the Car –

“Hyung. What’d she say?” Kyuhyun asked when Donghae got in the car.

“Yah maknae. Mind your business.”

“Tell me & I’ll let you come again tomorrow even if you don’t get chosen.” Kyuhyun smirked.

“Don’t mess with me little one.” Donghae glared.

“No really. I’m serious & I’m definitely the OPPOSITE of little. I’m like taller than you by so much! So what did she tell you that she couldn’t let me be there to listen?”

“Alright. Fine. All she said was that she’s thankful because I’m the first guy to actually care for her excluding you.”

“Aish. Hyung. YOU are the one that messed with me.”

Donghae smirked. “A deal’s a deal.”

Kyuhyun glared at Donghae as he pulled away.

“Yah. Stop glaring at me. I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking of a scheme to get back at me aren’t you you little maknae.” Donghae said.

Kyuhyun just kept glaring at him.

“Listen maknae. Do anything & I will definitely tell ______ about it. Then I’ll be her best & favorite oppa.” Donghae smirked.

Kyuhyun stopped glaring.

- Back at Home –

“______.” Yunho called.

“Oppa? What’s wrong?” I asked.

“______. I just found out that I’m not going to be leaving in a few weeks for Japan…”

“That’s great news!” I exclaimed.

“But I’m leaving tonight.” Yunho finished.

“B-but… why so fast?”

“Something came up & we all have to leave. The other members are going to be here soon. But I’m going to call Kyuhyun if he can come back & spend the night with you.”

“No oppa. I’m fine. I can be alone.”

“No ______, you-”

“Oppa. Will you believe me for once?”

Yunho sighed, admitting defeat for not believing in her.

“Araso. Just lock the door behind me. Jaejoong & them are going to come soon.”

“Araso. Thank you oppa.” I said, giving him a hug.

Ding dong ~

I opened the door.

“_______!” Everyone screamed.

Everyone was pushing to hug me.

Yunho walked to the door only to find everyone trying to hug me.

“Yah! What are you guys doing?! Are you guys trying to kill my dongsaeng?!” Yunho yelled, pulling me away from them.

“Bear bear! I’m going to miss you!” Junsu yelled, hugging me.

I let out a slight laugh, hugging him back. “Haha. I’m going to miss you too oppa.”

Changmin oppa pries Junsu oppa off of me & hugs me.

“Cookie. I’m going to miss you. Don’t forget me.” He said.

“Haha. I won’t ever forget you, oppa.” I said.

“Don’t worry. I’ll bring you back some food.” He whispered in my ear.

“Yah.” I exclaimed making him let go of me. “You really do care about food a lot.”

“Cutie. I’m gonna miss you. Stay out of trouble, alright?” Yoochun said, ruffling my hair & then giving me a hug.

“I will oppa. When have you known me to cause trouble?” I said.

“______. Believe me. You cause A LOT of trouble.” Yunho said.

I glared at him.

“Sweetie. Miss me lots & get a boyfriend.” Jaejoong said, pulling me into a hug.

“Oppa. I don’t need a boyfriend when I have you guys.” I said.

Then everyone gave me one last hug before departing.

Yunho was the last one out.

“_______. Stay safe. If anything, call me. Actually, scratch that. Call Kyuhyun. But still call me. Just call him first.”

“Araso oppa. I know.” I said.

“Bye dongsaeng. Keep safe. Lock the door behind me.” Yunho said, giving me one last tight hug.

I wasn’t going to see him for months…

& I closed the door.

Outside, Yunho calls Kyuhyun.

“Kyuhyun. My members & I are leaving for Japan right now. So I’m going to leave it up to you to watch over ______ for me. Thanks a lot!”

“Ah. Araso hyung.” Kyuhyun replied.

- Super Junior Dorm –

“Ah. Hyungs. Yunho hyung is leaving for Japan right now.” Kyuhyun said.

Everyone was gathered around the TV.

“BWOH?! What about ______?!” Everyone exclaimed.

“I think someone should stay over with her everyday.” Siwon suggested.

“I… don’t think so.” Kyuhyun said.

“But why not?” Sungmin whined.

“She’s a girl. We’re guys. What do you think of that? It’s not like someone’s going to break in & kidnap her or something.” Kyuhyun scoffed.

Heechul smacked Kyuhyun’s head. “Yah! Don’t jinx it.”

Kyuhyun whined & rubbed his head.

BOOM~

It was raining. There was thunder & lightening.

Kyuhyun remembered that when they were smaller, _______ has always been afraid of thunder & lightening. But he didn’t know if _______ was over it by now.

Kyuhyun was deep in thought.

“Yah. Kyu. What are you thinking about?” Donghae asked.

“Uhm. I’m not sure if it’s still true or not…” Kyuhyun dragged out.

“What? What is it? Does it have something to do with ______?!” Eunhyuk asked, impatiently.

“Well. When we were younger, _______ has always been afraid of thunder & lightening. Every time _______ saw on the weather saying that it’s going to rain, _______ would call me & make me stay with her… But I’m not sure if she’s still afraid.”

“Call her!” Heechul exclaimed.

Kyuhyun calls but there is no answer.

He tries again but he gets the same result.

“She’s… not picking up.” Kyuhyun said.

“Yah. She’s home alone.” Kangin said.

“Let’s go check on her.” Sungmin said.

Everyone started rushing to the door.

“Wait!” Leeteuk exclaimed.

“What hyung?!” Kibum said.

“I think that only a few of us should go.”

“Hyung! That’s not fair!” Ryeowook complained.

“I agree. All of us going might be too much.” Siwon said.

“Alright. So who gets to go?” Hangeng asks.

“Of course Kyuhyun has to go. He’s her best friend. And how about… Donghae, Eunhyuk, Heechul, Siwon & Sungmin?” Leeteuk said.

“Alright. Let’s go.” Kyuhyun said.

They left immediately, not letting the other members have a say.

“Yah hyung. You’re so unfair!” Ryeowook whined.

“Leader-sshi. Why couldn’t you say that I could go huh?!” Kangin said.

“Aish. Be quiet guys. The only thing we should be worried about is _____, araso?” Leeteuk said.

They were all quiet.

Shindong shrugged his shoulders & went to find food to eat.

Ryeowook followed Shindong into the kitchen & started to cook out of jealousy.

Kibum went to his room.

Yesung played with his turtles.

Kangin went to his room & started blowing off steam by lifting weights.

Hangeng just watched s.

- At Your Place –

I was really scared. Though I’m embarrassed to admit it, I’m still the same little girl that’s afraid of thunder & lightening.

I was in my room, searching through my closet when all of a sudden, it started raining & I heard thunder & in a few seconds, I saw lightening at the corner of my eye.

And then all of a sudden, the lights went out.

I got really scared so I hid myself in the closet.

I put my head between my legs & covered my ears with my hands.

How I wished it would stop right then & there but I knew that wasn’t going to happen because it just started.

I would’ve called Kyuhyun but then, I didn’t have my cell with me & I didn’t want to get out to get it so I just sat there… scared like crazy.

Then I heard my cell ring. How I wish I had the guts to just walk out & answer it. But I couldn’t. I was too afraid.
I didn’t know how long I stayed in the closet but the rain & thundering continued.

Then, I heard banging on my front door. That added a lot more terror.

After a few bangs, it stopped.

I heard my front door click & heard guys screaming out my name.

“________!” someone screamed.

“________!” another scream was heard.

I knew I’ve heard these voices somewhere but I was too afraid to keep thinking.

The only thing that was going on in my mind was wishing that the rain & thunder would stop.

“________! Where are you?” someone else screamed.

I can definitely recognize his voice anywhere.

It was Kyuhyun… my best friend came for me.

But I was still dead frozen in my closet, still unwilling to move.

My brain was screaming to move & just have Kyuhyun embrace me in a hug like he used to when we were younger.

But my body wasn’t willing to cooperate.

I heard footsteps walk into my room.

I wanted to just jump out & have whoever it was hold me & tell me that everything was going to be okay.

After a while, the footsteps left.

I tried to scream but I only let out a small squeak.

My mouth was completely dry.

I was hoping that someone would’ve heard me but the thunder was just too loud.

I was thinking to myself that I was done for; that this is how I would be scared out of my life.

I just wished that Yunho oppa didn’t leave for Japan yet so I would have some assurance that I wasn’t alone.

And then, the closet door opened.
