Chapter Three
Sweetest MistakeHe woke up and instantly reached out at the side of the bed, expecting to see her sleeping soundly beside him. But as his hands glide through the side of the bed, his eyes flew open only to see it empty. He stood up hastily, running towards the En suite but she’s not there, he slipped in his trouser and shirt and walked out of the room without caring to wear any footwear. He went down to the dance floor only to see the cleaning staff. He walk towards the staff, right when they saw him they bowed 90 degrees
“Sajangnim! We didn’t know you spent the night here! It’s your first time to spe-“
“did you by any chance see a beautiful girl coming out of my room?” the staff looked at him with wide eyes, too shocked to take the information in one go.
“W-we haven’t s-seen anyone sajangnim” the guy said, looking at the ground avoiding his eyes
“ahrasseo” he tapped the man’s shoulder and went back to his room to get his things, his gaze darted to the bed, he saw the blot of blood, reminding him that what happened yesterday isn’t a dream, he smiled at the memory.
After less than 3 minutes, he sped off his room in speed, not minding to talk to the staff again, because his mind is only focused on one thing, to find his Angel.

“Have you seen that??!” one of the staff said, they made a small circle, looking at each other questioningly
“A beautiful girl?!?! CAME OUT OF HIS ROOM?! Even us cleaning staffs can’t go inside his sacred room while that girl. Omona~ she must be special! It’s so not Sajangnim to act like that! He’s always composed and he-“
“BACK TO WORK!!” they scattered as the grumpy manager shouted at them

“I’m sorry sajangnim, we can’t find her. We’ve search for her everywhere but-“
“STOP! I’ve paid you enough money to search for her! If you need to knock at every door you see do it! I want you to find her!”
“But sir, d-do you by any c-chance, know even h-her name?”
He raked his hair frustratedly. Why in the hell didn’t he ask for her name?! It’s the most common question he needs to ask first! !
“No” he answered in defeat
“B-but sir-“
“I SAID FIND HER!!!”
They just sighed in defeat. Their boss is still as stubborn as ever. How can they find her when all they have is a CCTV picture of her? And worst of all, it’s kinda dim.

“Sir, the CEO of Lee Corporation is here already, your meeting will start at 10 minutes.” He just nodded at her secretary. His head is throbbing painfully due to lack of sleep and so much stress. It’s been 3 months and yet there’s still no trace of her.
Angel, are you hiding from me? I miss you already.

After work, he decided to visit FNC Club where his friends are already waiting for him.
“Yo!” Lee Jungshin, one of his great friend welcomed him with open arms “You look like hell brother! What happened?” his forehead creased, looking at his Yonghwa hyung who looked like a walking dead.
Yonghwa just scoffed at him and walked straight to the bar, signaling the bartender for a hard liquor and drink it in one go.
“Woah! Easy hyung!” Jungshin sensed that his hyung is having a hard time right now, he fetched his phone at his pocket and decided to call the rest of the boys.
EMERGENCY!! A LONELY BORKEN HEARTED MAN IS DRINKING HIS UP!
Within 20 minutes, they arrived with a concerned look etched on their face.
“Hyung! What happened?” Kang Minhyuk came rushing to his Yonghwa hyung’s side, tapping the latter’s back, soothing him.
“My Angel” Yonghwa whispered weakly, still drinking. Minhyuk snatched the glass he’s holding and made Yonghwa face him.
“Angel? Another victim?” Jungshin butted in but was dragged back by Lee Jonghyun who’s glaring at him, stopping his big mouth from blurting out words that’ll cause him his life.
“She’s different. Everything that happened to us was different.” Yonghwa said, his tone sad
“Woah! So you finally met your match hyung?! Daebak! What’s her name?!” Jungshin said excitedly, earning a loud whack from his Jonghyun hyung
“That’s one of the problem. I don’t know her name at all” he caged his face within his arms, rubbing it hardly
“And what’s the other problem?”
“Seems like she’s hiding from me. I can’t find her, it’s been three months yet I can’t even trace where she is.”
“Just wait for her hyung, if she feels something for you, she’ll come back” Minhyuk soothed
“and if not?”
“Then you’re not destined to be to- OUCH!!!” they saw Jungshin being dragged away from them by Jonghyun, pulling him by his ears
“Hyung. Maybe all you need is to just wait for her, you said it’s been three months right? Who knows, one of these days she’ll just pop out of nowhere.”
“How I wish Minhyuk-ah.” He heard Minhyuk chuckled “What’s funny?!” he snapped back
“nothing hyung, it’s just that, I never expected that you’ll be like this anytime soon. I mean, the almighty Jung Yong Hwa, the most sought after bachelor, the owner of Jung Corporation, is now being a Brokenhearted man waiting for his Angel”
“Even I didn’t expect this moment to come. I’ve been smitten by her, the first time I saw her, I just felt something strange in my heart. Until I did some things I’ve never done just to get to talk to her. And then that same night was the most blissful and unforgettable day of my life. I would never ever forget her.” He was smiling the whole time he’s thinking about what happened three months ago. “I miss her so much Minhyuk-ah. I’m so desperate to do anything” he buried his face in his hands
“Just be patient hyung. Be patient.”

“Sajangnim, Ms. Choi is here. She said she wants to talk to you.”
“I told you not to disturb me” he said coldly, massaging his temple, trying to ease away the pain he’s feeling
“But she said she-“
“What?! You don’t want to talk to me now?!” The girl barge in his office, glaring at him
“Get out Sulli. I don’t have time to play with you”
“I just came back from US and you’ll welcome me with this?!”
“I have nothing to do with you. Get out”
“Nothing?! You call us nothing?!”
“We just spent one day in each other’s company, we enjoyed it I know. But that’s all. You just assumed that things between us are getting serious. It’s all your delusion. Get over with it”
“Is it because of that ?! That ing you were with three months ago?!” that caught his attention, he stood up abruptly and walked to where she is
“WHAT DID YOU TOLD HER?!” he gripped her arms tightly, making her grunt in pain
“Oppa. It hurts”
“TELL ME!!!!” he shook her
“Oppa”
“Tell me or I’ll be the one to drag you from my office to outside my company.”
“I-I told her that you’re already taken. T-that- AAH!” he slammed her on the wall
“Tell me you didn’t tell her some bulls!”
“I-I called her s-”
“?!?!?! YOU CALLED HER ?!?!?! YOU-“
“And I told her she’s your n-new toy” she sobbed “I only told her that b-because I-I’m jealous”
“JEALOUS?!?! WHO ARE YOU TO GET JEALOUS?!”
“I I thought we have something Oppa”
“I told you not to assume things!!” he was blazing with anger, his eyes shooting daggers
“M-mian Oppa. I’m really s-sorry”
“Get out! I don’t want to see you face anymore! Don’t you ever dare to step foot here! Never!”
“But O-oppa”
“OUT!!!”
With that, tears started to fall down at the side of her face. She ran out of his office, sobbing hard.
He threw things at the corner of his office, shouting hard as he let out all his anger.
