CHAPTER THREE

WHISPER

It seemed like my mind was not working anymore. I just made a fake account. The worst was, I made it up as a male, and put on my friend, Taecyeon's photo as the profile picture.

Why did I choose Taecyeon's photo? Because Taecyeon did not have a Facebook account, and was never interested on doing so even if Tiffany screamed to us how ‘villager’ we sounded like. (He and I was in the same team for i-dont-need-Facebook thing and I was pretty content about it until... Until I knew Gee).

I have plenty of his photos in one of my 'friends' folder.

I'll just have to tell him tomorrow.

Taecyeon and I were good friends. We hang out a lot (Of course, before I was addicted to Audition Online) in the same group, and he wasn’t a bad guy to begin with. It was just that sometimes he was moody and he could ruin the entire group’s mood. Still, he was a nice friend of mine.

How do I say it to him later?

Maybe something like, “Hey Tmon, (it was my petname for him. In fact, i nicknamed every person in our group) you don't mind if I use your picture for something, right? You don't have a girl that you like yet, right? Tell me if you do.” He would nod and gave me a confused look.

Kwon Yul, Male, 21.
Single. Busan.

My semi perfectionist attitude urged me to go all out with the lie. And I was aware of the worst possibilities if I ever got caught with this. Still, in my 21 years old of life, I still choose to make a mistake—on my freewill.

Like everyone else who makes mistake while getting older, I began each day of my new world with a lie, and another lie.

Audition, Room 53

I pressed the F12 (screen shoot) button every time I find a cute moment about her. Or whenever her avatar dance cutely, or about every little thing that I found cute. To put it simply, I took a dozen of screen shoots of Gee.

Shikshin: Why are you so quiet Yul?
Yul: Do I seem talkative?

To be honest, I kind of have two personas. One would be awfully quiet while the other one was awfully dorky. It depends on my mood. While being with them, I couldn't help but to act a bit cool. Especially in front of my crush.

Did I just say crush?

Then my attention was stolen by some new-comers inside the room.

My judging instinct was automatically. I knew most of them should be Gee’s fanboys. Oh goodness.

peterpan: Hi Yoona~
Leonidas: Hello Yoona, Sooyoung...
Shikshin: Hi three dots are off limit here
peterpan: Hah?

I had a bad feeling about this.

Shikshin: Don't use three dots like this '...' when you're in this room
Leonidas: Why?
Shikshin: That will be clarified as flirting
peterpan: lol
Leonidas: Oh... I don't mind then...
Shikshin: You see, when you use a three dots like that here, a guy might be...*ehem* coughing

Shikshin: LOL!!

A whisper tune rings, erasing my pouting just now.

[Yul>Gee: Yoona yah, i am not that cheap. Don't worry]

Shikshin: wow that Hara avatar sure looks like fairy

Shikshin: im so ugly in Audition

Shikshin: sigh

Gee: don't call me that
Shikshin: why, you are a byun
Yul: Yoona? A byun?
Shikshin: Oh she IS a byun, Yul
Gee: Choi Sooyoung!
Shikshin: LOL, look Yul! She is mad at me because i said that in front of you, Shikshin: LOL~!
Shikshin: Well Icalled her that since we're in Senior High. She really is a ert one. You'll get to know her later. See for yourself Yul!

Leonidas left the room

And then Shikshin added tons of laughing emoticon in the chat box while closing all the player slot aside from the three of us. I was flustered.

Shikshin: Look at her face and you'll realize it
Yul: I really want to see that
Shikshin: You want to see her byun face?
Yul: I'd like to
Shikshin: Then add her fb account. LOL. You'll see for yourself
Yul: Am i allowed to add?
Shikshin: Just see if she approves you or not?
Gee: The person you two are talking about is in this room, hello.
Shikshin: LOOOOOOL

Smiling so wide, I pressed the ALT TAB to open up my Mozilla. I typed the social network website, log in and move the pointer to the search engine. I wrote: Choi Sooyoung

Ah, this is it. I clicked on her name.

I stared at her photo. Wow, just wow. I never imagined her to be this PRETTY. I hurriedly back to the search engine again after adding her to my friend list
