Caught you in the arms of another.

Chanyeol rubs his face with his hands, trying to keep himself warm. What to do today? He asks himself. Kris left just a while ago, giving some notes like answer your phone when I call you and make sure you always have it. Of course with an I love you and a goodbye kiss.

The younger one smiles happily, while staring at his phone. Ohh! I should visit my best friend. He tries to call Baekhyun but the latter didn't answer his calls, so he pouts and decides to make his way over his best friend's apartment. It's not really that far from here if I walked. He bounces in his step, his face clearly shows excitement at seeing his best friend. It's been a while since we talked to each other. Oh, and I must tell him about my nightmares. Maybe he could help me forget it. Chanyeol giggles.

On the way to Baekhyun's apartment, Chanyeol stops by a coffee shop and buys Baekhyun's favorite cheesecake. He's gonna love my surprise! Chanyeol smiles widely, imagining Baekhyun's reaction.

Kris decides to stop his and Baekhyun's relationship now. Before going to work, he stops by Baekhyun's apartment and makes sure to end it like he meant it. He really did. This affair has made Chanyeol in his state right now and Kris hates it. So, he'll end it now.

"Baekhyun open up." He knocks on the door. He hears shuffling inside and then a click sound is made and the door opens.

"Kris?" Baekhyun's face lights up and hugs the said man tightly. Kris makes no move on reciprocating the hug though.

"Baek, let's talk inside." Kris says, detaching Baekhyun's arms from his waist and pulls him inside before closing the door.

"Do you want coffee? Of course you want coffee, I'll ma--" Kris cuts off what Baekhyun is saying with a shut up. And that makes Baekhyun shut up. He looks up at his lover, heh, lover huh?

"Baekhyun, let's stop this." Kris deadpans, wanting to leave this place as soon as possible because their unwanted memories are lingering in the air. Baekhyun laughs.

"What are you talking about Kris? I have--"

"Let's end this relationship."

"Why?"

Kris looks at Baekhyun like he is insane. "What do you mean why? This is cheating! I can't do this anymore! I can't do this to Chanyeol! I shouldn't have -- This relation shouldn't have happened!"

"Relation? Really Kris? After all that you've said and promised to me, this is what I get?" Baekhyun glares at the six feet giant in front of him. Baekhyun is not scared of Kris, nor of anyone of that matter.

"Ju- Let's just end this peacefully." Kris sighs, wanting to go back home and skip work.

"NO! You ing dragged me into this mess and you can't just leave me hanging! Not when I'm starting to love you. Kris please." Baekhyun's voice cracks, his eyes watering and his lower lips trembles.

"I can't Baek. Chanyeol is too precious for me. I-i don't know what I'll do if I lose him." Kris covers his face with both of his hands before combing his hair and gripping on it tightly.

Silence.

"So everything that we did, never happened?" Baekhyun knows when to give up. His voice barely audible, but with the silence filling the air, it is enough for Kris to hear.

"Yes," Kris says in relief. He knows Baekhyun is never really the clingy type.

"Then, can I atleast ask you something? As a goodbye gift?" Baekhyun looks up, his tears streaming sadly down his cheeks.

Kris nods and walks in front of Baekhyun before wiping the tears. "Yeah."

"Kiss me."

"Bae-"

"Just a goodbye kiss. Please?" Baekhyun holds Kris hands that is on his wet cheeks. He is desperate but not that desperate. He loves Kris but he also loves his best friend.

Kris hesitates at first, but leans in and captures Baekhyun's lips. He withdraws from the kiss only to find himself leaning in again and kissing Baekhyun passionately. They both want this as much as they want to end the relationship. Why not have a full blown goodbye ?

But a light crash and a gasp breaks the plan.
