Chapter 2

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

‘ Yul, what are you doing here? Our class will start in five minutes ’ Yoona walks toward Yuri

 

Yul smiles ‘ Hey Yoong, look Minho is playing soccer. He is so cool ’

 

Yoong force a smile ‘ Yeah, he is cool. I’m going to class, are you coming? ’

 

‘ You go first, I’ll be there a minute ’ Yul said without looking at Yoong

 

Soo’s POV

 

Donghae oppa called that he will come pick me up after class. I walk outside the university then I see oppa waves at me with a bright smile

 

‘ Oppa ’

‘ How my cousin doing today? ’

 

‘ I’m doing great. Where are we going? ’

 

‘ I want to treat my favourite cousine diner ’

 

I was about to answer then I feel someone wraps around my arms. I look beside and saw Sica smiling at me. This is the first time she smiles at like this.

 

Jessica’s POV

 

I walk out the university to go home then I saw a familiar figure with Sooyoung.

 

Wait….this guy……Sooyoung knows him………Then an idea pop up.

 

I walk toward them and wrap my arms around Soo’s and smile at her.

 

SooSicaHae’s POV

 

‘ Hey Soo ’

 

‘ Sica ’

 

Sica then smiles at Soo ‘ I’m Jessica Jung, Soo’s best friend. You are the one who save me that night right? ’

 

‘ Is not…….. ’ but cut off by Soo

 

‘ What happen? You guys know each other ’ Soo gives sign to Donghae and he nods

 

‘ He was the one who saved me from the guys ’ Sica said

 

Soo acted like she didn’t know ‘ They dare to touch you if I was there I will kill them ’

 

‘ Donghae oppa was there so save me. I need to thank you. Why don’t we go diner together, my treat ’ Sica said

 

‘ I was asksing Soo for diner if you don’t mind we can go together ’ he winks at Soo

 

‘ Oh…oppa is my cousin ’

 

He is Sooyoung cousin….If I get close to her that’s mean I can get close to Donghae – Sica thought

 

‘ Sure, let’s go ’ Sica takes Soo’s hand and went inside the car.

 

Soo didn’t know that Sica is just using her to get closer to Donghae. She thought that Sica is about to accept her. During the whole night, Sica tries to get close to Donghae.

 

A few days later

 

‘ Soo, let’s go shopping together ’ Sica holds Soo’s hand

 

Soo nods and follow like a puppy. During the shopping, Sica asks a lots of questions about Donghae and Soo answers it happily.

 

‘ Soo, do you remember in a few days it will be my birthday ’

 

‘ Of course I do. I won’t forget this important day. ’

 

‘ Well I will hold a party at my place I wonder if oppa want to come ’

 

‘ I will asks him ’ Soo said wihout thinking

 

Sica hugs Soo ‘ Thank you ’

 

‘ You’re welcome ’

 

Soo’s POV

 

A day before Sica’s birthday, I ask Tae to come shopping with me for Sica’s gift. We enter into MK shop and I bought the watch that Sica’s always want.

 

‘ Soo, do you think Sica is acting weird these few days ’ Tae asks

 

‘ No, she treat me a lot better. I think she start to love me ’ Soo said happily

 

‘ Why she suddenly change? ’

 

‘ I don’t know, maybe she was just confused before ’ Soo said

 

‘ I hope so ’ Tae said worriedly

 

All’s girls POV

 

The girls arrive at Sica’s house with gift in their hand. While the YoongYulTae are playing card Tiffany drags Sica’s in the kitchen

 

‘ Sica, why you suddenly treat Soo so well this few days? ’ Fany asks

 

‘ Why? I can’t treat her well ’ Sica asks

 

Fany sighs ‘ I know you very well Sica. What do you want from Soo? ’

 

Sica chuckles ‘ You are really my best friend ’

 

‘ Spill ’

 

‘ I discover a few days ago that Donghae is Sooyoung cousin ’

 

Fany eyes widened ‘ You are using Soo to get closer to Donghae. How can you do this to her, you know she loves you ’

 

‘ I already told her that I don’t love her but she is still bothering. You know I really hate her. She is lucky that she is my crush cousine so she can be close to me these few day. She really thought that I love her. I will never love her. ’

 

Fany shakes her head ‘ Why you are so cruel? Soo did a lot for you ’

 

‘ I never asks those think. Do you know how frustrated for me that she is always following me ’

 

‘ You know what, you don’t deserve Soo’s love ’ Fany said angrily

 

‘ I never ask her to love me. My life will be a lot happier if she stops bothering me ’ Sica answers

 

What JeTi didn’t know is that Soo heard the whole conversation.

 

Soo’s POV

 

I was late because I forgot the gift in my room. When I arrive at Sica’s house, I saw the YoonYulTae playing card in the living room.

 

‘ Hey girls, where’s Sica? ’

 

‘ She is with Fany in the kitchen ’ Yoong said

 

I nod then walk into the kitchen. I stop when I heard my name is mention. I hide myself and listen.

 

‘ Sica, why you suddenly treat Soo so well this few days? ’ Fany asks

 

‘ Why? I can’t treat her well ’ Sica asks

 

Fany sighs ‘ I know you very well Sica. What do you want from Soo? ’

 

Sica chuckles ‘ You are really my best friend ’

 

‘ Spill ’

Tears fall down and I walk away from the kitchen.

 

‘ Girls, I have an emergency I need to go. Give this to Jessica for me ’ I put the box on the table and walk out the house.

 

All girls POV

 

Soo walks out

 

‘ What happen? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ Did she just called Sica Jessica? ’ Yoona asks

 

Then they saw JeTi comes back

 

‘ Sica, Soo haves an emergency. She asks us to give this to you ’ Tae gives the box to Sica

 

‘ Oh…. ’ Sica takes the box and put it on the table without looking it.

 

‘ By the way, why oppa is not here yet? ’ Sica asks

 

‘ Happy birthday Jessica ’ she heard Donghae voice

 

‘ Oppa, she runs toward him ’

 

‘ Your gift ’ he gives a box to Sica.

 

Sica quickly open it then saw a scarf.

 

‘ Is so beautiful. Thank you ’ Sica said happily

 

Donghae looks around ‘ Where’s Soo? ’

 

‘ She had an emergency. Come have  a drink oppa ’ Sica drags Donghae into the kitchen

 

‘ I really wanna kill her ’ Fany said angrily

 

‘ What happen with you two? ’ Tae asks

 

‘ She is using Soo to get closer to oppa ’ Fany said

 

‘ I know why Soo suddenly leave ’ Yul said

 

‘ Soo was here? ’

 

‘ Yes, after she came out from the kitchen she said she has an emergency then left’ Yoong said

 

‘ Let’s talk to Soo tomorrow ’ Tae said

 

Jessica’s POV

 

‘ Oppa, are you free tomorrow? ’

 

‘ Yes, why? ’

 

‘ I want to invite you for lunch because you give me this beautiful gift ’

 

‘ No need. Is your birthday gift ’

 

‘ But I want to ’

 

‘ If you insist I don’t see a reason to reject ’ Donghae smiles

 

Soo’s POV

 

I can’t believe I’m so stupid to fall in love with someone like her. She is just using me to get close to oppa and I thought she finally accept my loves for her. Maybe the girls right. I should wake up and move on now. I stop in front of Soshi club.

 

‘ Give me a bear please ’

 

‘ Are you alone? ’ the bartender asks

 

‘ Yes, are you new here ’ I ask

 

‘ Yes, is my first day today. I’m Kim Hyoyeon ’ she shakes my hand

 

‘ I’m Choi Sooyoung. Do you want to join me? ’ I ask

 

Hyoyeon looks at her wristwatch ‘ My shift end in 5 minutes ’

 

‘ I’ll wait for you at the table ’

 

She nods and walk away

 

5 minutes later she comes back

 

Hyoyeon smiles at me

 

‘ Hey ’

 

‘ Hey, please sit ’ I smile

 

‘ Sooyoung why are you here alone? ’ she asks

 

‘ Call me Soo. Let’s me offer you a drink first ’ I said

 

She chuckles ‘ a beer ’

 

I give her a bottle of beer

 

‘ Just call me Hyo. Now can you tell me why are you here alone ’

 

‘ You will think I’m stupid if I tell you ’

 

‘ I won’t. I’m a good listener. We are friend right ’

 

I smile ‘ Friend? ’

 

‘ Of course ’

 

‘ I just found out that the girl I love was using me to get close to my cousin ’

 

‘ I’m sorry ’

 

‘ Nae, I’m the stupid person. All my friend asked me to move on but I didn’t listen to them now I end up hurting ’

 

Hyo takes my hand and I look at her confusedly

 

‘ Let’s go dance and forget about everything. I’m sure you will find some who love you back ’ she drags me at the dance floor.

 

Hyo starts dancing and I’m amaze by her dance skill.

 

‘ Soo don’t just stand here, come join me ’

 

We are drinking and dancing happily. These moment I feel like I really waste my time with Jessica. Since I meet her all I get is hurt but tonight I feel happy.

 

The next morning

 

I slowly open my eyes and saw an unfamiliar room. I walk out the bedroom and saw Hyo in the kitchen preparing breakfast.

 

‘ Morning Soo ’

 

‘ Morning Hyo ’

 

‘ You were drink last night and I don’t know you adress so I bring you to my place. Don’t worry nothing happen between us last night ’ Hyo smiles

 

‘ I’m sorry for bothering you ’

 

‘ Don’t be, we are friend. Come and eat. ’

 

I nod and sit down

 

‘ Wow, is delicious ’ Soo said happily

 

‘ Really ’

 

I nod ‘ You are the first girl who prepare me food ’

 

‘ If you like you can come to my place more often. I will cook for you ’ Hyo said

 

‘ Promise ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

After breakfast, I went home to change my clothes. I promise Hyo that I will meet her at the club tonight. I was walking toward the classroom then I saw JeTi. Soo be strong, she is not worst for you love. I smile and walk toward them

 

All girl’s POV

 

JeTi are talking while walking to class

 

‘ Morning ’ Soo smiles at them

 

‘ Morning Soo ’ Fany smiles ‘ Where were you last night, we called you but you didn’t answer ’

 

‘ I was with a friend ’ the she looks at Sica

 

‘ Jessica, I’m sorry that I left earlier ’ Soo said

 

‘ Is not a big deal ’

 

‘ Then I will she you guys in class ’ Soo walks away

 

‘ Did she just called me Jessica ’ Sica asks

 

‘ Yes ’

 

‘ She didn’t even follow me or give me gift ’

 

‘ Nope, maybe your wish comes true ’ Fany answers while walking to class

 

Soo enters the classroom and saw YoonYulTae. She walks toward them

 

‘ Hey girls ’

 

‘ Soo, are you alright? ’ they ask worriedly

 

‘ Yes, I’m fine. You guys are right. Jessica doesn’t deserve my love. I can’t believe I waste a year by chasing her ’ Soo said

 

‘ What do you mean? ’ Tae asks

 

‘ I move on. From now on, she is just a friend for me. I will stop chasing after her like a puppy ’

 

‘ Are you sure? ’ Yoona asks

 

‘ 100% sure. I deserve to be happy too ’ Soo said

 

‘ We are happy that you finally wake up ’ Tae said

 

Soo sits at her usual seat beside Jessica. But today is different, Soo didn’t even look at Sica one during class. One hour before the end of the class

 

‘ Please partner up for the last hour ’ the teacher says

 

‘ Do you mind partner up with me? ’ this is the first time Soo talks and looks at Sica

 

‘ If I say yes it doesn’t change right, can we ju……… ’

 

‘ I understand ’

 

Sica didn’t even finish her word then see Soo stands up and walk away with her stuff. Sica is surprise by Soo’s action then saw her sit next to the girl who blush madly with Soo beside her. Soo is smiling and talking to her happily.

 

‘ Excuse-me ’

 

Sica looks up then saw a guy in front of her

 

‘ What do you want? ’ Sica asks

 

‘ Do you want to partner up with me? ’

 

‘ Whatever ’

 

The guy gulp then sit down. The guy who partner up with Sica tries to be nice by Sica always talk to him coldly while glancing Soo who have a lot of fun with her partner.

 

Jessica’s POV

 

What happen to her, she didn’t bother the whole day? Maybe Fany is right, she will stop bothering me :) If that so I should be happy right? But why I don’t have this feeling at all…..Before, when I partner up with Soo, she always tried to make me smile and talks to me but now I’m stuck with this guys I don’t even know and she have fun with this girl. Why I feel something missing today?

 

The class end, the guys quickly walk away from me. I smiles when I saw Soo coming toward me, well is that what I thought but she stop in front of TaeNy and YoonYul bid them goodbye then walks out of the classroom without looking at me. Suddenly I feel hurt by I decide to ignore it.

 

Hmph….I’m sure she is waiting for me outside the classroom waiting to take my bag for me. Let’s see Choi Sooyoung, I won’t let you go so easily for ignoring me. Do you think you will get me with this stupid idea……

 

I stand up

 

‘ Girls, I need to go I have lunch with oppa ’

 

‘ See you tomorrow ’ they said

 

I walk out of the room then let go of my bag because Soo is always here taking it for me.

 

* Bang *

 

I look down and saw my bag on the floor. I look around, there’s no sign of Soo.

 

She is really gone……Let’s see how long you can act

 

I look at my wristwatch and is the time to meet oppa. I run toward my car and drive to the destination.

 

I went inside the restaurant then I saw Donghae oppa waving at me with a bright smile.

 

‘ Sorry, I’m late ’

 

‘ No problem ’ he pulls the chair for me

 

‘ Thanks ’

 

After we order, we talk about casual think. After lunch, we greet goodbye and I drive back home.
