Chapter 17

 

Yoona’s POV

 

I was sitting on the bench waiting for my flight with my parents. I look at my wristwatch and is already 4h45AM.

 

‘ Dad, mom is time to go ’

 

They nod and we went toward the gate. I follow them from behind

 

‘ YOONG ’

 

This voice……

 

‘ Is that Yuri ’ my mom asks 

 

I turn back and see Yul at the second floor waving at me.

 

‘ Dad, mom go take the line first, I’ll follow ’

 

My parents went toward the gate. I look up and give her a smile and take my phone out.

 

Yuri’s POV

 

Is already 4h45AM when the cab arrives at the airport. I quickly give him the money and run into the airport. I look around and I didn’t find her. I decide to went at the second floor. I look around but no Yoona. When I look down I finally see her, I call her name. She turns back and look at me with a smile. She takes her phone out and after a few second I got a text from her.

 

- Take care Yul -

 

No no no no no

 

When I look back at her, she already walking toward the gate.

 

I can’t let her leave me…..

 

I run toward her as quick as possible and she is now giving her ticket at the guy. She is about to enter the gate, I grab her arms and drag her away.

 

‘ I’m sorry, uncle auntie, Yoona will not leave Korea. Don’t worry, I will take care of her ’ with those words I bow and drag her outside

 

‘ Yul, what are you doing? ’ she struggles to get away

 

After walking out the airport

 

‘ Yah~~Kwon Yuri, what are you doing? I’m going to miss my flight and how did you kn…. ’

 

I kiss her lips to shut her but get push away

 

‘ Can you stop it. I’m not your toy ’ I see her tears fall down on her cheek.

 

At this moment, my heart break into piece seeing her like this.

 

‘ Yoong….. ’

 

‘ Can you please just let me go, I can’t stay beside you now. I want you to stay away from me ’ She starts to walk away

 

I quickly backhug her ‘ Please don’t go Yoong, I love you ’

 

‘ No Yul, you don’t love me. You made it very clear to me before, you are just feeling guilty. I don’t need your pity ’ She pushes my arms away and walk

 

I run in front of her and hug her

 

‘ No, I love you Im Yoona. I did a mistake before, at first I thought my feeling for you is just bestfriend but I was wrong. I realize that I love you more than a friend. You are the only person who make my heart flutter, make me sad, jealous and happy. You are my oxygen without you I can’t breath. When I told you I love you last night, I really mean it ’

 

‘ No, you were just drunk ’ Yoong starts to struggle

 

I just hug her more tight

 

‘ I wasn’t drunk. I was too nervous for the confession and Minho suggested me to have a few shots of alchool before going to your place ’

 

‘ You are lying ’

 

‘ No, all I said was true ’

 

‘ Then what about Fany? ’

 

What is she talking about????

 

‘ What do you mean Fany? ’ I ask confusedly

 

‘ I know the one you love is Fany, I saw you kissing and hugging her at the Ferris Wheel yesterday ’ Yoong said with a jealous tone I can’t help but chuckle

 

‘ Pabo, I told Fany about my feeling for you and she asked me to confess. The one Fany loves is Tae not me and the one I love is you not her. I kiss her forehead and hug her because she was here to listen to me. You are the only one in my heart ’

 

‘ What about Minho? ’

 

‘ Minho is nothing to me, he is just my fake boyfriend ’

 

‘ Fake boyfriend? ’

 

‘ Yes, he helped me to get you jealous but in the end I am the one who get jealous because of you and Seunggi oppa. For you information, he already have a girlfriend. Now you understand everything so can you accept me and be my girlfriend ’

 

‘ I can’t, I can’t hurt oppa. He did a lot for me ’ Yoona shakes her head

 

‘ Oppa was the one who ask me to come here ’

 

‘ What? ’

 

‘ He came at your place earlier and ask me to come at the airport to stop you ’

 

‘ Oppa knew about last night ’

 

I nod. I caress her face

 

‘ I’m sorry for hurting you. I promise from now on, I will take care of you and loving you. Now will you forgive me and be my girlfriend Im Yoona ’

 

She hugs me ‘ Yes ’

 

I hug her ‘ I love you Yoong ’

 

‘ I love you Yul ’

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Soo slowly opens her eyes and the bed side is empty.

 

‘ Sica ’

 

No respond

 

Soo get out of the bed and put some clothes on her. She went out the bedroom and see Sica in the kitchen.

 

‘ What are you doing? ’ Soo asks while backhugging her

 

‘ Preparing breakfast for you ’ Sica turns her head

 

‘ You know how to cook? ’ Soo asks in surprise

 

‘ Yes, I take cooking class ’

 

‘ You take cooking class ’

 

‘ Yes, since my girlfriend is a shikshin and I want be a good girlfriend to you so I take cooking class. This is the first time I prepare breakfast for someone. I even sacrifice my sleeping time to prepare this for you. You are lucky that I love you ’

 

Soo peck Sica’s cheek from behind

 

‘ I’m lucky to have you too. I’m so sorry for what I did to you. If time can turn back, I will take back my action. ’

 

Sica stop what she is doing and turn to face Soo.

 

She cupped Soo’s face ‘ No, I deserve it. I was the one who hurt you first ’

 

Soo shakes her head ‘ No, I know this feeling and I know how hurt it was but I still do the same to you. ’

 

Sica smiles ‘ I never hate you for this because I love you Choi Sooyoung ’ then she hugs Soo

 

‘ I love you Sica, I really really love you ’ Soo hugs Sica very tigh

 

Sica chuckles ‘ I know. I have one request ’

 

Soo looks at Sica

 

‘ What request? I will do anything for you ’

 

‘ I want you to go shopping with me.’

 

Soo smiles ‘ OK ’

 

‘ Then let’s go after breakfast ’

 

‘ Wait Sica, my dad called. He want to meet me. Why don’t you go first and I will join you later ’

 

‘ Ok but don’t be too long because I will miss you ’ Sica said cutely

 

Soo chuckles at her girlfriend cuteness and give her credit card to Sica.

 

‘ Buy everything you want ’ Soo said

 

‘ You are the best ’ Sica hugs Soo happily

 

Soo’s POV

 

After I drive Sica to the shopping mall, I went to meet my dad at the restaurant in our hotel. The stall bows at me

 

‘ Miss Choi, your dad is in the VIP room waiting for you ’ The manager said

 

I smile ‘ I’ll go, thank you ’

 

He smiles and bows

 

I open the door and I saw my father taking in the phone happily.

 

‘ Hahaha, of course I’m happy now. After Soo’s mom died, is the first time I feel this happy. I can’t wait for the wedding date ’ dad said on the phone.

 

Suddenly I feel my heart hurt, this is the first time I see him so happy after mom leave us. Now he is happy again because of auntie Jung. When he saw me

 

‘ My baby girl is here, I’ll talk to you later ’ dad said happily

 

I smile and walk in ‘ Dad ’

 

‘ Hey darling, how was yesterday? Do you have fun with the girls? ’ Dad asks happily

 

‘ Yes, we have a lot of fun ’ I smile

 

‘ I’m happy when I see you happy ’ Dad said

 

‘ Are you happy now? ’ I ask

 

‘ Of course, to be honest with you. This is the first time I feel so happy after your mom ’ dad slowly said

 

How can I do this to my dad? He is the only family I have……… I can’t take away his happiness. Even if I need to sacrifice mine, I need to make my dad happy. I’m sorry Sica……

 

‘ Baby, what are you thinking? ’ dad snaps me out of my thought

 

‘ Oh nothing….hmm…..I was thinking what I should eat ’ I lie

 

He chuckles ‘ I know you will be hungry, I already order your favorite foods ’

 

‘ Thank you dad ’

 

‘ No need to thanks me ’

 

‘ Dad, why you suddenly asks me out? ’

 

‘ Why? I can’t asks my daughter out for lunch ’ dad pouts

 

I chuckle ‘ I not what I meant. I love having time with you ’

 

‘ I know you wanna spend more time with me, since I am always busy I feel sorry for leaving you alone at home. ’ Dad slowly said

 

‘ Dad, I’m fine ’

 

‘ Where’s Jessica? ’

 

‘ Hmm…she went shopping, I will join her after lunch with you ’

 

‘ Great, let’s have diner together tonight. You auntie and I have something to show you girls. ’ Dad says happily

 

‘ Sure, after shopping we will go home ’ I smile

 

TaeNy’s POV

 

Sunny have to go out with a classmate, so Tae decides to go shopping with Fany.

 

‘ Is been a long time that we didn’t spend together ’ Tae smiles

 

‘ Yes ’ Fany smiles

 

‘ Fany, let’s go to Tiffany & Co ’ Tae drags Fany inside

 

‘ Tae, what are we doing here? Do you wanna buy something? ’

 

Tae looks at Fany ‘ I want to buy a ring ’

 

‘ A ring? ’

 

Tae smiles ‘ Yes, I want to propose to Sunny ’

 

Fany frozen at the place

 

‘ I know we just date for not long but I want to spend my life with her ’

 

‘ Are you sure? ’

 

Tae nods ‘ Yes, I never thought that I will find someone like her. She is making me crazy and every day I just fall in love her more ’

 

Fany forces a smile ‘ Then how are you gonna propose? ’

 

‘ Hmmm…..I don’t know yet. I’m scare she will refuse me ’

 

‘ No one will refuse you ’

 

‘ Maybe Sunny will, you know her heart problem ’

 

‘ Tae, I’m sure she will accept your proposal ’

 

‘ Thank you Fany. You are a great friend ’ Tae hugs Fany

 

Fany hugs back trying to hold her tear ‘ Tae, let look at the ring ’

 

‘ Great ideal ’ Tae pulls off the hug and walk toward the ring section

 

Tae looks around happily while Fany is hurting inside but she acts normal in front of Tae

 

‘ Fany, what do you think about this one ’ Tae points at a white gold diamond ring

 

‘ Is beautiful ’ Fany force a smile

 

‘ Really, do you think Sunny will like it? ’

 

‘ I’m sure Sunny will love it ’

Tae smiles ‘ I’ll take this one ’ she gives her credit card to the seller

 

The seller smiles ‘ I will wrap it for you ’

 

Tae nods. While waiting, Tae receives a call from Sunny

 

‘ Is Sunny ’ Tae said happily ‘ I’ll be right back ’

 

Fany nods and look at Tae talking to Sunny happily

 

The seller comes back with the ring

 

‘ Your ring is ready ’

 

‘ Is not…. ’

 

‘ You are lucky, your girlfriend must love you very much. This ring is one of the most expensive one in store. Congratulation for your wedding ’ The girl smiles and walk away

 

I hope I am her girlfriend – Fany thought

 

After Tae hangs up with Sunny, Fany walks toward her.

 

‘ Your ring ’

 

‘ Thank you ’ Tae smiles

 

‘ So, how are you gonna propose? ’

 

‘ Hmm…..I want to propose during our vacation at Soo’s resort. But I need you guys help to decore our room ’

 

Fany forces a smiles ‘ Don’t worry, we will help you ’

 

‘ Don’t tell Sunny a word, this is a secret between us. I want to give her a surprise ’ Tae said excitedly

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

After they comes back from the airport, Yul didn’t let go of her sight for a second. Everytime Yoong walks somewhere, Yul followed like a puppy. While watching TV, Yoong suddenly stand up and Yul quickly stand up.

 

‘ Yul, I’m going to the bathroom ’

 

‘ I can go with you ’

 

‘ Don’t be silly, I won’t disappear ’

 

‘ Who knows? Like this morning, you suddenly left me. I almost lost you so I won’t let this happen again ’ Yul pouts

 

‘ Look, I’m with you now and I won’t go away. Just sit down, I will be back in a few minutes ’

 

‘ But…. ’

 

‘ No but, now sit down ’

 

Yul quickly sit ‘ Come back quickly ’

 

Yoong chuckles ‘ I will ’

 

After a few minutes, Yoong comes back and sit next to Yul.

 

‘ For you ’ Yul gives a small box to Yoong

 

‘ What’s this? ’ Yoong asks

 

Yul smiles ‘ Open it ’

 

Yoong smiles and open the box. Inside the box is a couple ring. Yoong takes it out then saw YoonYul grave in the ring. Yoon looks at Yul

 

‘ Is our couple ring. Do you like it? ’

 

Yoong nods and hugs Yul ‘ Thank you ’

 

Soo’s POV

 

After I leave dad, I drive to back to the shopping mall. I saw Sica looking at the clothes, when she saw me, she waves at me happily.

 

Everything need to end before we go back home……

 

I take a breath and walk toward her.

 

‘ What took you so long, I miss you ’ Sica pouts

 

‘ I’m sorry, have you bought everything you want? ’

 

‘ Yes ’ Sica said happily

 

‘ Sica, let’s go to the coffee shop. We need to talk ’ I said

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Inside the coffee shop

 

‘ Soo, what do you wanna talk? ’

 

‘ I’m sorry Sica, let’s break up ’

 

Sica chuckles ‘ Stop kidding ’

 

Soo looks at Sica with a serious face. Sica stop chuckling

 

‘ I’m serious Sica, I want to break up with you ’

 

‘ Why so sudden? We were fine this morning ’ Sica tries to hold her tears

 

‘ I’m sorry, I think I didn’t think carefully before starting our relationship. ’

 

‘ What do you mean? ’

 

‘ All I have in mind was my hapiness but I never thought about my father hapiness ’

 

‘ We already talk about this subject. We have 10 months to figure it out ’

 

Soo shakes her head ‘ No, we shouldn’t start this relationship. It was my fault, I shouldn’t give you false hope. We know at the beginning that someone will hurt whatever we do ’

 

‘ So you decide to hurt me and give up on me for your father hapiness ’ Tears start to fall down from Sica

 

‘ I’m sorry Sica, I want you to know that I really love you. ’

 

‘ If you really love me, you won’t give up on our relationship ’

 

‘ I’m sorry, my dad is my only familly in this world. During lunch, I can see how happy he is right now. I didn’t see him like this after my mom left. ’

 

‘ I give you one last chance to chose, me or your dad ’ Sica said while wipping her tears

 

‘ I’m sorry Sica, I chose my dad. But I will be there for you and love you like my own sister. ’

 

‘ I don’t want your love at a sister I want your love at my lover ’

 

‘ I’m sorry, this is all I can do for you. ’ Soo lows her head while holding her tears

 

‘ I hate you Choi Sooyoung ’ Sica runs out the coffee shop
