Chapter 5

 

Yoona’s POV

 

Tears fall down after I left Yul’s apartment. I was nothing for her, she was just drunk last night. Even the I love you she said is only the effect of the alchool. Back to my apartment, I cry hard. Yul, why you give me false hope…….

 

At school, I saw Yul arrive. I tried to avoid her but she quickly catch me

 

‘ Yoong, about last night ’

 

‘ Can we just forget about last night? We were both drunk ’ I said

 

A smile appear on Yul’s face ‘ Really ’

 

‘ Yes, are we still friend? ’

 

‘ Pabo, of course we are ’ Yul hugs me

 

I pull off the hug ‘ I want to go to the cafeteria, go to class first ’ I force a smile

 

‘ I’ll see you in class then ’ Yul walks away

 

I run into the washroom and cry.

 

SooSica’s POV

 

Jessica arrive at the university earlier than usual. She is waiting for Sooyoung at the parking lot. After a while, Soo comes out from her car and Sica quickly walks toward her.

 

‘ Morning Soo ’

 

‘ Morning Jessica, you are early today ’ Soo said without looking at her

 

‘ Yes, I’m waiting for you ’

 

Soo stops and this time she looks at Jessica

 

‘ For what? ’

 

‘ I wanna say sorry about last night, I didn’t mean to hurt you ’

 

‘ Is ok ’ Soo answers then start to walk away

 

‘ Can you forgive me? ’

 

‘ I already told you is ok ’

 

Sica smiles then wraps her arm around Soo’s.

 

Soo surprise by Sica’s action ‘ What are you doing? ’

 

‘ Going to class with you ’

 

‘ Why you hold my arm? ’

 

‘ Why? I can’t hold your arm ’ Sica pouts

 

‘ You never hold my arms and you always said that you hate that I bother you ’

 

‘ That’s before, from now on you can bother me whenever you want ’ Sica smiles

 

‘ Don’t worry, I won’t bother you ’ Soo pushs Sica’s arms away then walk in the university.

 

Sica didn’t give up, she runs toward Soo and cling on her.

 

‘ Yah~~~can you just walk by yourself ’ Soo tries to push Sica’s arms away but Sica just hold it more tight.

 

Soo gives up and walk into the classroom.

 

All girls POV

 

When the girl saw SooSica walk in

 

‘ What happen today? ’ Yul asks

 

‘ Did I see it wrong, Sica is the one clinging on Soo ’ Tae said

 

While everyone is talking about SooSica, Yoong stay quiet.

 

‘ Yoong, why you are so quiet today? Are you sick? ’ Fany asks

 

‘ No, I’m fine ’ Yoong lies

 

‘ Yoon…. ’ Yul is about to talk then Yoona stand up

 

‘ Yoong, where are you doing? ’ Tae asks

 

‘ Washroom ’ Yoong walks away

 

Everyone looks at Yul

 

‘ Did something happen last night between you? ’ Tae asks

 

‘ N-no ’ Yul shakes her head nervously

 

At break time

 

‘ Girls, I have an appointment, I need to go now. I’ll take the note from you guys tomorrow ’ Yoong says while packing her stuff then walk out without looking at Yul.

 

‘ I’m going to buy something to drink ’ Soo stand up and Jessica quickly drag her down

 

‘ I’ll go buy it for you ’

 

‘ No need, you don’t know what I like ’ Soo said

 

‘ Of course I know……..orange juice? ’

 

Soo shakes her head

 

‘ Apple juice? ’

 

Soo shakes her head again

 

‘ Coke? ’

 

Soo shakes her head again

 

‘ Water? ’

 

Soo shakes her head again

 

‘ Ice tea? ’

 

Soo shakes her head again

 

‘ Soo like strawberry juice ’ Fany helps Sica

 

‘ Of course I know is strawberry juice, I was just kidding with you. I’ll go now ’ Sica smiles and walks away with Fany

 

‘ Yah~~what about us? ’ Tae said

 

Sica gives her a deadly glare ‘ Go buy it yourself, I’m not you slave ’ then smiles at Soo ‘ I’ll come back very quick ’

 

‘ I’ll buy it for you Tae ’ Fany smiles

 

‘ Thanks Fany ’ Tae smiles back

 

SooTae’s POV

 

‘ What’s wrong with Jessica today? ’ Soo asks

 

‘ Soo, Sica knew that you were the one who saved her that night ’ Tae said

 

‘ Who told her? ’

 

‘ Fany said that Sica confessed to oppa and oppa told her the truth ’

 

‘ That’s why she is so kind with me today ’

 

‘ Is good right? You always want her to be nice with you ’ Tae said

 

‘ Maybe a few month ago I will be happy to death but now is different. I have Hyo now. ’

 

‘ That doesn’t mean you can’t be friend with Sica ’

 

‘ If she want I don’t have problem with this ’ Soo said

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

After Yoong left the classroom, Yul quickly runs after her.

 

‘ Yoong ’

 

After hearing Yul’s voice, Yoong walk more quickly

 

‘ Aish….this girl ’ Yul runs toward Yoong and grab her arm

 

‘ Yoong, I’m calling you ’

 

Yoong face Yul and push Yul’s hand away

 

‘ I didn’t heard you Yul, what do you want? ’ Yoong asks without looking in Yul’s eyes

 

‘ Why you suddenly leave? ’

 

‘ I already told you guys, I have an appointment ’ Yoong start to walk away but get block by Yul

 

Yul sigh and put both of her hand on Yoona’s shoulder ‘ Is it because of last nig…. ’

 

‘ What about last night? Nothing happened ’

 

‘ Yoong, I’m sorry I didn’t mean to hurt you ’

 

‘ What are you talking about? Yul stop talking non-sense. Look I’m really late I need to go ’ Yoona runs away leaving Yul alone

 

Yul sigh then walks back to the classroom.

 

SooSica’s POV

 

The break time almost end and Sica comes back with the strawberry juice. Sica sits down and open the bottle for Soo.

 

‘ Here ’ Sica gives the bottle to Soo

 

‘ Thanks ’

 

‘ You’re welcome ’ Sica smiles

 

‘ Jessica, can we talk after class ’

 

‘ Can you just call me Sica like before ’

 

‘ Fine, are you free after class? ’

 

‘ Yes ’

 

After class, they went to a coffee shop

 

‘ Why you suddenly so nice to me? ’ Soo asks

 

‘ I’m always nice to you ’ Sica said

 

‘ Well I don’t remember this part ’ Soo said

 

‘ I’m sorry for hurting you before. Can we just start over? ’

 

‘ Is it because you know I was the one who saved you? ’

 

‘ ………….. ’

 

‘ I know it. If oppa was the one who save you, you won’t even look at me ’ Soo said

 

‘ That’s not true ’

 

‘ Really, have you even care about me for a second? ’

 

‘ Of course I did ’

 

‘ Really. When? ’

‘ What did I bought you for your birthday? ’

 

‘ ……………. ’

 

‘ See, I’m sure you didn’t even bother to open it. You don’t need to do all those things because I saved you. I will do it even if it was not you, so stop what you are doing now ’ Soo stands up

 

‘ Soo ’ Sica holds Soo’s hand

 

‘ If you want to get close to oppa by using me again then forget it. Oppa already have a fiancé, you won’t have a chance with him ’

 

‘ I never used you ’ Sica lied

 

‘ Really? ’

 

‘ ……………You heard my conversation with Fany at my birthday right? This is the reason you where acting so cold and distance toward me after that night. ’

 

‘ Yes and I’m happy to heard it by myself. Otherwise, I will still chasing after you like a puppy. Stop what you are doing now, you won’t get what you want from me ’ With this words, Soo walks out the coffee shop.

 

Jessica’s POV

 

After Soo left, I drive back home and went into my room searching for the gift that Soo bought me. Yes, she is right I didn’t even bother to open the gift from her. When I open it I saw the watch that I always want.

 

Soo I won’t give up…..I will do everyting to win you back.

 

One week later

 

YoonYul’s POV

 

During the whole week, Yoona found excuse to avoid Yuri. But one day, when Yoona walks to her class

 

‘ Yoong ’

 

Yoona act like she didn’t heard her and walk away quickly. Yul sighs then run toward Yoona

 

‘ Yoong, can you stop avoiding me? ’

 

Yoona turns to face Yul ‘ I’m not avoiding you ’

 

‘ Then why you walk away when you heard me ’

 

‘ I didn’t heard you ’ Yoong lies

 

Yul knows Yoona is lying but decide to change subject.

 

‘ The girls want to Karoake tonight ’

 

‘ I don’……. ’

 

‘ Don’t tell me you don’t come ’ Yul said

 

‘ I-I will come ’

 

‘ Great, let’s go class ’ Yul wraps her arm around Yoong’s

 

Inside the karaoke room

 

SooSica’s POV

 

‘ Soo, which song do you wanna sing? ’

 

‘ Sing whatever you want ’ Soo ignores Sica while busy texting Hyo

 

‘ But I wanna sing with you ’ Sica said

 

Then Soo pouts

 

‘ Soo what’s wrong? ’ Tae asks

 

‘ Hyo  said she can’t join us tonight ’

 

A smile quickly appear on Sica’s face ‘ Don’t worry, I will be with you don’t be sad ’ Sica wraps her arms around Soo’s

 

Soo tries to push her away but Sica just cling more tightly

 

‘ Fine, can you just stop clinging on me ’ Soo said

 

Sica just shakes her head like a kid.

 

‘ This seem like a déjà vu but the role reverse. ’ Tae said

 

‘ Don’t mind her Tae, let’s sing ’ Fany smiles

 

TaeNy start singing

 

‘ Yah~~~~Soo didn’t even sing yet. Is her turn now ’ Sica snatch the mic from Tae’s hand

 

‘ Soo, let’s sing toghter ’

 

Soo takes the mic from Sica’s hand then stand up

 

Yul’s POV

 

The whole night, I tried to sit next to her but she always find a excuse to sit away from me. Since Tae and Sica are arguing about the mic I quickly went next to Yoong.

 

‘ Why you avoid me the whole night? ’

 

‘ I didn’t ’ she said without looking at me

 

We take chips in the bowl and accidently our hand touch. Yoong quickly takes her hand away

 

I sigh ‘ Yoong….. ’ then I heard

 

‘ Yoong, let’s sing together ’ Soo comes in front of Yoona

 

‘ Sure ’ Yoong smiles and quickly stand up

 

‘ Soo, I wanna sing with you ’ I heard Sica said but just get ignore by Soo.

 

I’m sitting alone at the corner and I saw Yoong singing happily with Soo. I don’t know why but a smile appear on my face.

 

I never notice that Yoong is so beautiful……

 

I quickly shake my head

 

Pabo….Kwon Yuri

 

While watching Yoona, I don’t know why but I can’t help but smile.

 

All girl’s POV

 

After a few hours, they decide to go home. While walking down the stairs, Yul falls on the stairs and twist her ankle.

 

‘ Yul, are you alright? ’ Soo asks worriedly

 

‘ Ouch….I twist my ankle ’ Yul said

 

Yoong kneels down ‘ climb on my back, I’ll sent you home ’

 

The girls slowly help Yul to get on Yoong’s back.

 

‘ Yoong, are you alright alone? ’ Tiffany asks

 

‘ Yes, I will be fine. You guys go home, we’ll see you tomorrow ’ Yoong smiles then walks away

 

Yuri’s POV

 

My ankle’s hurt. Right now, I’m on Yoong’s back I don’t know why but when I wrap my arms around her neck my heart almost jump out of my chest. I secretly look at her. Yoong is so beautiful….I quickly shook my head. Yah~~~Kwon Yuri, what are you thinking?

 

‘ Is your ankle still hurt? ’ Yoong snap me out of my thought

 

‘ N-no ’ I blush and slowly I lay my head on her back.

 

We finally arrive at my apartment, Yoong help be to bandage my ankle then she picks me up in a bridal position.

She slowly puts me down on the bed but she suddenly fall on top of me. My face redden and Yoong quickly get off me

 

‘ I’m sorry ’ Yoong said

 

‘ Is ok, thank you for taking me home ’ I blushed like hell

 

‘ No problem, I’m going home now. ’ Yoong said and walk away

 

Before she can walks away, I quickly grab her hand

 

‘ Yoong, can we talk please ’

 

Yoong sigh and sit at the edge of the bed.

 

‘ What do you wanna talk? ’ Yoona asks me

 

‘ I miss you, I miss us. ’ I suddenly start crying then I feel Yoong wraps her arms around my shoulder

 

‘ Let’s forget about everything OK ’ Yoong said

 

I nod and hug her tightly. But Yoong pull me away

 

‘ Is late, I need to go home ’ Yoong says

 

‘ Wait where’s my goodbye kiss ’ I asks. What am I doing?

 

For the first time since the other night I see her smiling

 

She slowly bent down and give me a kiss on the cheek.

 

‘ Can I leave now? ’

 

I nod ‘ See you tomorrow Yoong ’

 

‘ See you tomorrow Yul ’

 

After Yoong left, I touch my chest and I can feel my heart beat crazily and my face is burning. I look at my ankle and I smile.
