"Yo bro, I found us a new toy.."

 

 

The doorbell kept ringing in Suzy and Amber's apartment

 

"Who could that be? It's 6:30 in the morning.."

 

Amber sat up quickly scratching her head then slipped into her slippers and slowly went for the main door then peeped in through the peep hole and saw a familiar face

 

"No way.."

 

She immediately opened the door

 

"good morning noona.."

 

"Jeno!!"

 

"Ah-" Amber bear hugged her one and only little brother Jeno

 

"Noona, I can't breathe.."

 

"Sorry.. I just missed you that's all." She gave him a smile

 

"Come in! Why are you here anyway? And did you come here alone??" Jeno sat down at the couch and examined the whole place

 

"Nice place you got here noona and yes I went here alone."

 

"You're too young to travel alone bro.. I could've been the one who brought you here.." "It's okay noona, I can handle myself." Jeno never depended on his sister because he always thought that he needed to protect her.

 

"Will you be staying here for a week or two?" Amber asked while she made coffee

 

"Dad approved of my stay here until I graduate high school." Amber almost let go of the two mugs she was holding

 

"What?! Why?"

 

 

 

Flashback

 

"Dad, I want to follow noona there and protect her." Jeno was already packing his bags while asking permission from his dad

 

"But then who's going to stay with me?"

 

"Dad you look pathetic.. Jack-Jack and princess will keep you company for now. You can visit us during weekends or holidays." Jeno said

 

"But-but son?"

 

"Oh, and don't tell noona that I'd be coming. I want to surprise her."

 

"Son I-"

 

"I already have her apartment building address and I have extra money with me, I'll update you when I get there." Jeno said in one blow that made his dad silent

 

"don't worry dad, I'm already thirteen now. I can handle myself alone." Jeno finished packing and was about to leave the house

 

"Jeno wait!" His dad shouted

 

"Yes?" Jeno's dad gave a wide and proud smile then ran to hug Jeno

 

"My son.. Protect your sister from those hungry wolves (boys) okay?"

 

"I promise dad." Jeno's dad hugged him an kissed his forehead.

 

End of flashback

 

 

 

"I'll be studying here from now on."

 

"Where?"

 

"There's a nearby high school building just beside yours."

 

"Oh really? I haven't gone out yet.. Here, It must've been cold outside." Amber handed him the mug

 

"Thanks. So where's your roommate?"

 

"Still sleeping." She yawned and went back to her room and came back with an extra pillow and a blanket.

 

"You must be tired. Rest up for a few hours, I'll introduce you to Suzy later okay?"

 

"Alright." Amber kissed his forehead and went back to her bed. Two hours later Amber woke up to the smell of breakfast. Suzy's bed was already made which means she's already awake. Amber went outside and saw Suzy and Jeno in the kitchen cooking.

 

 

"Looks like you've met my brother already."

 

"Good Morning Amber!" "Good Morning Noona" "Good Morning" Amber sat at the high chair with her head resting on her palms

"Jeno explained to me everything and I'd be glad to have another roomy here~!" Suzy smiled

 

"Really? You're fine with it?"

 

"Yup! I'll just explain it to Daniel about it. Breakfast is ready!"

 

"Thank you Suzy!" She bowed and grabbed her chopsticks and ate away. After they had eaten their breakfast and took a bath, Suzy left first she said she was going to tell Daniel about Jeno and she also had other things to take care.

I helped Jeno settle in, good thing there was an extra small room beside ours. It was just right for him, a single bed with a window above the head and a work desk next to it.

 

"Is this room okay with you Jeno?" "It's fine, just my size." He nodded looking around the room. 

 

"Noona, after this could you come with me to the school I'll be entering?"

 

"Of course, I'll just change." I went back to my room and changed clothes.

 

We went to the school and arranged Jeno's papers after that we went to an ice cream parlor and treat him to his favorite sweets.

 

"Jeno, be honest with me. Why did you really come here?"

 

"I want to try a different school." I gave him a glare

 

"I wanted to watch over my one and only noona. There are lots of wolves here you know!" He raised his voice and I ruffled his hair

 

"Aww! Baby bro is concerned~!"

 

 

We went next door to look for Amber. No one was answering the door.

 

"Maybe no one's home?" SoRyong said

 

"I'm so bored!" I whined.

 

"Let's visit Ailee" SoRyong suggested

 

"Hope she has new employees~"

 

"Pffft hope so!" The twins walked out of the elevator and passed by Daniel

 

"Yah! Where's my hat?"

 

"I gave it back to your brother."

 

"What? He never gave me anything last night!!"

 

"By the way Daniel, did you see Suzy or Amber by any chance?" DaeRyong changed the subject

 

"Suzy has work back in school, Amber was with her brother when she left."

 

"Brother? She has a brother?" SoRyong said himself

 

"Let's just go So' " Then they left the building

 

"I'll drive." DaeRyong threw the keys across the car to SoRyong. They passed by an ice cream shop and DaeRyong saw Amber lauging.

 

"Cute."

 

"Huh? Did you say something Dae?"

 

"What? Nope." DaeRyong looked at somewhere else.

 

"Ailee~" Ailee was in her office busy with her papers when she was startled by two unisoned voices calling out to her.

 

"Oh no.." Ailee pressed a button from her desk

 

"Sohee! Did you let them in?!"

 

"I'm sorry ms. Ailee!! They pushed themselves in!" Her assistant was in panic mode again.

 

"Okay fine.. calm down I'm not mad at you.." She then ended the call and the two suddenly burst in through the door without even a knock

 

"Our dear and only sister~"

 

"I'm busy." Ailee looked unamused seeing her older brothers

 

"Ouch. We're just here to visit our favorite sister." SoRyong went around her desk and hugged her from behind

 

"I'm your only sister. Leave now. I'm busy can't you see? So' let go!"

 

"Aww come on! Lighten up!!" DaeRyong sat lazily on Ailee's white couch

 

"Yah!! What the hell are you two doing here?! Are you cutting classes? I'm telling mom and dad about this!" She abruptly stood up angry at her brothers sudden visit.

 

"Relax baby sister, Classes don't start until monday. We just wanted to visit you that's all." DaeRyong smirked and Ailee just raised her eyebrow with an irritated look

 

"I don't have any new female employees so leave. I'm not in the mood right now."

 

"But we wanted to introduce to you our new play toy." DaeRyong added

 

"I don't care! Sohee! Get these two idiot brothers of mine out of my office!" Ailee ordered her assistant "Yes m'am!!"

 

"Wait a minute Sohee. Just leave us first for a minute will ya?" SoRyong stood tall in front of Ailee's assistant

 

"O-Okay.."

 

"SoRyong please!" Sohee closed the door and left the three. The two went close to her desk and crossed both their arms

 

"Did you sleep well last night?"

 

"Have you eaten your breakfast?"

 

"..." Ailee looked away with a sour face.

 

"Is dad being hard on you again?"

 

"He wants what's best for me."

 

"He wants what's best for the company." The twins unison

 

"Take a break Ailee, you're too young to be even stressing out on things like this. Come with us." DaeRyong offered

 

"We'll take you out to lunch. It's our treat!" SoRyong clapped. Ailee looked out the window and back at her desk

 

"But I'm still not done with my paperwork.."

 

"It'll only take an hour 'lee! C'mon!!" SoRyong persuaded and Ailee sighed and nodded countless times

 

"Okay, okay.. Let's go. I have an appointment at two so we better hurry."

 

"Yes!" The twins high fived then pulled Ailee out of the room then down the office building and into their car.

 

"Where are we going anyway?" She was seated at the back while the two were up front.

 

"Wherever you want. You decide."

 

"Really?! I mean.. really? okay." She almost said with glee but then she remembered she has to keep her cool exterior in front of her brothers.

 

 

 

"Let's go to the mall next! We still need to buy a few school supplies." Jeno nodded. Jeno and Amber was now riding the train on their way to the mall. Jeno all the way never let go of Amber's arm and it made Amber smile.

He was the total opposite of a thirteen year old who would always be scared in public places instead he would always be protective of his precious ones, especially Amber. That's why he followed her to her dorm. He was more protective than their dad, their dad would always let her go. But Jeno would always refuse and would always surveillance on her. Jeno even learned judo and self defense at an early age. Both were smart in academics and sports but Jeno was always a step higher than her sister and it always made Amber proud instead of being jealous. Jeno wanted to be the older one that would protect his sibling.

 

"Noona, do you have a boyfriend?"

 

"No of course not."

 

"Good."

 

"Why'd you ask?" "I saw a man inside a car stare at you awhile ago."

 

"Maybe he was looking for someone."

 

"Have you made any friends here? Besides Suzy noona?"

 

"only a few. The owner of the apartment his name is Daniel and I met twins."

 

"Twins? Are they girls?"

 

"Both male why?"

 

"Figures."

 

"Did you say something?"

 

"Don't ever wear girly clothes in front of others okay?"

 

"Huh why?"
