Chapter 10: Feeling Awful

"Y-You want me to help stop a possible... m-marriage proposal?" Chanyeol sighed and took a seat beside the young designer, he took Baekhyun's hand in his and held it tightly, "I know it's a lot to ask Baek but... I really do love Joonmyun and I can't see him marrying someone like Yifan, it'll hurt too much." Baekhyun looked down at his and Chanyeol's intertwined fingers, he blushed slightly before looking back up and realizing that his boss was crying. The new designer bit his lower lip before slowly beginning to wipe away the younger man's tears, Baekhyun knew that Chanyeol had done a lot for him and maybe this was the way to repay him for everything he had done. Although he knew it was wrong, Baekhyun sighed and decided that helping Chanyeol would be a great way to repay the giant for believing in him, "I-I'll help you Chanyeol."  

Chanyeol looked up at Baekhyun and smiled, "T-Thank you Baekhyun," he hugged the other man tightly out of pure happiness, not even really realizing what he was doing, "Thank you so much." Baekhyun hesitantly hugged back and smiled to himself, "I-It's no problem." Chanyeol slowly let go of the smaller man and smiled, "I-It may seem like nothing to you but... this really does mean a lot to me Baekhyun, thank you so much, I'll never forget this, I'll never forget you." The older man smiled and looked down to hide his slightly red cheeks, "S-So, did you have a plan?" he asked after a while, "You know, to stop the engagement?" Chanyeol thought for a while before slowly shaking his head, "Not really, I was just thinking that we should follow Joonmyun after work, then somehow we'll stop the whole engagement thing." Baekhyun nodded, "Okay... so I'll see you after work?" he asked. "Yes, I'll see you then," Chanyeol stood up and left Baekhyun's office with a huge smile on his face.

Once Chanyeol was gone, Baekhyun leaned back on the nice white sofa in his new office and closed his eyes, "I'm sorry Joonmyun," he whispered softly to nobody. And he really was sorry because truthfully, Joonmyun had been nothing but sweet since the moment Baekhyun was introduced as the new designer of Young Young Apparel, he had given Baekhyun a warm welcome and immediately made him feel comfortable. Knowing that he could possibly ruin an important night for Joonmyun did make Baekhyun feel terribly bad but it didn't make him feel as awful as seeing Chanyeol cry.

Sure, Baekhyun and Chanyeol might not have gotten along with each other right away, truthfully, they had hated each other for the first few days after their meeting and they were different in so many ways, but also very similar in other ways. As strange as it may seem, now, being around each other was strangely comfortable. They weren't best friend... Baekhyun didn't even think they were friends but Chanyeol had believed in him, Chanyeol had risked his friendship with Kyungsoo for him and he had even spent the night at his apartment after Baekhyun's long night of drinking... it might have not meant anything to the CEO but to the designer it meant a lot. He felt that maybe, deep down inside, Chanyeol cared for him because even though Baekhyun would never admit, somewhere deep down inside his own heart, there was already a small place that Chanyeol had somehow taken up. It was strange, even Baekhyun himself thought it was weird but he couldn't help but want to help Chanyeol.

Kyungsoo took a deep breath before walking into Jongin's dressing room, he had to forget about the break up and act professional, he still a job to do after all. He had been hoping that Kibum would be there, working on Jongin's hair and makeup but when he noticed it was just him and a half Jongin in the dressing room, he mentally cursed. Without saying a word to the young model, Kyungsoo walked over to the sofa and laid down a nice outfit for him to wear for the photo shoot.

Kyungsoo was about to leave the room but was stopped by Jongin, who grabbed his arm and pulled him close, "Aren't you going to help me get dressed?" he questioned the older man. Kyungsoo stepped back and shook his head, "I think you'll be able to mange fine on your own." Before Kyungsoo could make an attempt to leave again, Jongin pinned him against the wall and refused to let him go, "But you always help me hyung, I thought we were going to remain professional... helping me is part of your job," the younger model whispered in his ex-boyfriend's ear. The designer ignored the butterflies in his stomach and slowly brought his hands down to Jongin's pants, he them and pulled them off, Jongin watched with a smirk on his face.

Kyungsoo pushed Jongin away lightly and grabbed the outfit he had laid down for the model on the sofa. Without saying a word he helped the young boy into his outfit, like he usually did, he fixed the collar, buttoned up where Jongin need to be buttoned up and stepped back to admire his work, "Finished, now, I'm leaving." Kyungsoo left the dressing room quickly, not wanting to be stopped by Jongin yet again. He shut the door behind him and leaned against it, he closed his eyes, took a few deep breaths and tried not to think of how hot Jongin had just looked. 

Once he had calm down a bit, Kyungsoo walked over to where the photo shoot was being held, since this was a major photo shoot a lot of people were there, Chanyeol, Joonmyun and even Byun Baekhyun. The designer held his head up high; he walked past Chanyeol and Baekhyun without sparing them a glance. Jongin, Sehun and Luhan all walked out of their dressing rooms, looking absolutely perfect in the outfits designed especially by Kyungsoo, the young designer smiled proudly and announced to everyone that the photo shoot would begin. Everyone was silently as Kyungsoo gave directions to the models, the three posed perfectly, they shined but more importantly they made the clothes look amazing which was their main job.          

"Luhan, please put your arm on Sehun's shoulder." The oldest model did as he was told while giving the camera a y look, Sehun and Jongin doing the same. "Sehun, turn your head a bit to the right." Luhan couldn't help but to smile a bit when his eyes met the younger model's eyes, Sehun smiled back before putting on a serious look and continuing to focus on his work, Luhan blushed a bit and did the same.

The photo shoot was completed successfully, Kyungsoo looked towards Jongin, who would usually always come up to him after a photo shoot; today was different.  Today, Jongin just thanked the photographer and other crew members before walking out of the studio but not before grabbing Baekhyun's wrist and pulling him out as well, a smile on both of their faces. Kyungsoo stared at the two and blinked away the tears that might escape his eyes at any second.

"Are you okay?" Kyungsoo recognized the deep voice, it was Chanyeol. He didn't turn around to face his friend, he just kept staring straight ahead where he had just seen his ex-boyfriend and the stupid new designer walk out together. "Do you even care Chanyeol?" Kyungsoo asked, but he didn't give the CEO a chance to reply, "Because it really didn'
