"She's done," Jemie interceded as she was able to get me out of the situation, sitting me down forcefully in my seat, ignoring the glares she was recieving from Kai and Tao for what she did . 

"Please take your seats," the substitute interjected, earning few squeaks of the chairs as the students hurriedly tried to get back to their seats 

"Gentlemen, in your seats," the teacher repeated to only Kai and Tao, as they were the only one still standing. Tao pushed Kai away from him, giving Kai an unavoidable withdraw from the glaring contest the two were having. Kai's visible smirk only irritated Tao more but he didn't care. Kai stood in front of Kara's desk but his eyes weren't on Kara but on me 

Kara was only staring between Kai and I as she noticed the unusual atmosphere 

"Mr. Kim in your seat. If I have to give you one more warning you will be getting a detention," the teacher threatened and Kai threw something on my table before making his way towards his table 

I looked at the small sheet of fabric and noticed it was a hankercheif. I looked behind me to give Kai a questioning gaze and his eyes stared down at my wrist. I gave him a small smile, showing him my thanks before turning my attention back towards the teacher 

"Oohh~, your long awaited prince charming has arrived," Kara whispered with such a teasing tone that a blush spread across my cheeks. She nudged my arms, indicating she witnessed the flush on my face 

The remaining class period was queit, with the sound of the teacher lecturing and writing on the board whilst the sound of students, some students, diligently writing down the notes as they try to pay attention to the words coming out of the teacher's mouth as well 

*BRRIINNG

The school bell rung, letting the teacher and students know that it was brunch time. The teacher assigned us homework to bring in tomorrow before she left the classroom. All the students stayed in the classroom for brunch as they just wanted to stay here, from what I can guess. 

I was talking to Kara, Jemie, Alice and Anna in a circle on our desks, eating some fruit that Kara brought. 

"Han Mirae," I heard someone call and I turned around to see Tao and his group of friends standing behind Kara and Jemie whilst staring at me

"What do you want Tao?" I asked in irritation, I was really hating the interaction I was having with this kid

"We weren't done talking," he growled as he didn't like the way I talked to him. I stood up, causing everyone to stop what they were doing and was again their attention was on us. I stood right under his nose as I glared up at him 

"I'm here, so talk," I said, not backing out of this fight as my arrogance and temper started to come out again.

"Don't try to act so tough Han Mirae," he warned and I gave him a smirk in return

"I wonder if the same smirk will still be on your face if your brothers are the ones on the floor while you witness them screaming your name," Tao threatened and I could feel my face turn red in anger, with fists clenched along with my teeth 

"Don't you dare," I growled under my breathe as if he was threatening my cubs. I hated, absolutely hated when people used my family to try to hurt me. 

"Try me," he said before he turned his back towards me, and his satisfied grin was etched into my head within that second and I knew that I had to do som
