School resumed after the long Thanksgiving break, but to be dead honest, there was nothing to be thankful for; I lost my family, the police suspected me of kidnap, Kai went missing for 4 days, now an ex-nemisis was the next to be missing. 

I also started to notice that everyone started to grow afraid, the usually moderately enthusiastic groups of kids started to whisper amongst themselves, growing more secretive than before. I've noticed this not with just one or two group of kids but the entire school. They just stuck with the friends they hung out with normally and didn't even look at the other students' eyes, afraid that they were the next target or worse, they were the killer. 

"Okay settle down," the teacher interrupted the throng of murmurs and immediately they sat in their seats, the classroom becoming dead silent within a minute, surprising the teacher. 

"I see the recent kidnap had scared you kids," the teacher started and couple girls started to shake in fear while the guys tried to pretend they didn't care when they were scared for their life 

"Please don't worry, the police will take care of it immediately, so pay attention in class," the teacher tried to reassure them but she didn't seem so sure if everything WILL be okay in the end. The class started with antiderivatives but all that I could notice was the little stares that they gave me throughout the class 

"Why in the world are they staring at you like that?" Kara whispered in my ear as she elbowed my arm 

"I don't know," I murmured back 

"They almost seem afraid of you," she replied before turning her attention back on the class. I looked at the students that were looking at me and saw their frightened eyes once I caught their gaze and I couldn't help but feel a little upset. No one had ever been terrified by me, what's going on? 

Sadly my question was answered in the beginning of brunch when I lost the group but was later surrounded by multiple people, putting me in the center of the circle. 

"Can I help you?" I asked, not understanding what was going through their minds
