Another rushing morning when students of JS High School were chasing before the closed gate.

Jamie was passing the gate when she saw Collin from distance.

Um, could it be. She was talking to her self.

A group of girl was starring at her skeptically.

“oh, she’s the girl”

“the sleepy head unmannered one exactly”

“I see. Geez”

They were passing her.

“YA! You all, stop right there!” Jamie yelled at them.

The girls were startled.

“Look here es !”

The girls turned their head at her.

“who do you think you called es?”

“the girls who have just turned their head.”

“YOU!”

“if you don’t feel like a , don’t turn your head and  say other are unmannered not-a-”

Jamie left the mad girls behind her.

In distance,

“Omo! Dong Hyeob, now your record was broken either. isn’t she that drooling ?” Kibum was chattering when Dong Hyeob drowned on his own mind.

“Ya Kibum, shut up!” Jong In slapped kibum’s head lightly.

“ let’s see how far she can go” Dong Hyeob said shortly.

Jamie was about to enter the class when Collin passed her.  zap! Both of them were frozen before they turned their head.

“You?”

“what are you doing here?” Collin asked Jamie shortly.

“school.”

“school. Sounds so Jamie.” He skeptically smiled.

“are you somehow in this class?”

“yeah. why?”

“me too, but I didn’t see you yesterday.”

“were you even in the class yesterday huh?”

“yeah. my first class, and it was so damn boring I’d better sleep”

Collin suddenly remembered the girl his friends said as the drooling . He laughed.

“why? I’ve been holding my laughter to see you in a uniform. How could you just do that huh!”

“go put your bag and I’ll show you how’s school here.” he said shortly.

She smiled before ran into the class and came back in a second.

They were about to leave when the other three came.

“ya, Collin! What are you doing?” Kibum starred at Jamie. Jong In and Dong Hyeob were the same surprised as Kibum.

“oh- she’s my-“ he hadn’t finished his sentence when Jong In talked.

“ya. You-the drooling , we’re still waiting for your apology if you still want to live here”

She startled to hear Jong In’s sentence.

“what apology even this is our first meeting huh.” She said shortly.

“Aiiish. Don’t make me remind you with this.” Jong In showed his fist.

“so, this is how woman is treated here. interesting.” She skeptically smiled.

“stop it you too.” Dong Hyeob said shortly.

Collin looked at him.

“you were sitting, oh, sleeping on my seat yesterday, remember?”

She nodded. “I’ve thanked you.”

Collin and Kibum was holding their laughter while Jong In was still demanding.

“and, unfortunately, you left us something on my desk”

She was confused.

“it was-“ Dong Hyeob hadn’t finished his sentence when she talked.

“I know. It happens often.” She said shortly, “okay, sorry then.”

“huh, only that” Jong In demanded.

“you. you’ve treated me unlike a woman. Keep doing it then. What will you do if he drools on your desk?” She pointed at Dong Hyeob.

“hah. Really. What do you think you’re saying now huh?”

“enough.” Kibum stopped them. “the class is about to start. Let’s get in” He was about to enter the class when Dong Hyeob pulled his bag.

“you don’t wanna come with us?” Dong Hyeob asked him.

“errr, ah, really. Are you guys going to skip the whole class again?” he was panic.

“really? You’re going to skip the whole class for today?” she was excited.

“ah this girl. Why? You want to tell the teacher? Go on then.” Jong In talked ironically.

“why should I? I was thinking to skip the whole class either. should I tell the teacher that?” she talked sharply.

“oh, good then. You get a new member of class skipping team guys, you won’t need me anymore” Kibum chaterred.

Collin smiled. “that’s so you”

She smiled back. “I think you’re about to tell me how’s school in here. show me then.”

“ya. Are you serious? You’ve just transferred here.” Dong Hyeob asked her.

“what then. Won’t be any problem if I will be discarded since I haven’t studied anything yet huh.” She shortly talked. “let’s go then”

They all laughed.

“our Kibum. Don’t forget to copy your note, guess now we need 4 copies of it.” Dong Hyeob smiled at Kibum.

“aye-aye captain.” Kibum entered the class.

“what are we going to do? Or where are we heading to exactly?” Jamie asked Collin.

“don’t know, anything, anywhere as long as it’s not the class”

“oh, hey, you two hadn’t officially introduce your self, should I keep calling you ‘hey’ ”

Jong In and Dong Hyeob turned their head.

“better that you’re not calling us” Jong In said shortly.

“God. You’re still mad at me. Okay, I’m sorry. I really mean this.” She apologized.

“his name is Jong In, and my name is Dong Hyeob.”

“okay, Jong In, Dong Hyeob. And the diligent one is?”

The  three laughed to hear her called Kibum the diligent one.

“you mean Kibum?” Collin asked her.

“Oh, I see, Kibum. How can he get along with you all, what kind of school do I attend now exactly.”

“let’s see until you meet So Il Su Song Saeng Nim.” Dong Hyeob said shortly.

“do you mean your ex-first love?” Collin wildly smiled.

“oh okay then. Do you mean your stepmother?” Dong Hyeob blushed in red.

“oh, step mother?” Jamie was confused.

“it’s such a long story you’ll be bored to hear.” Collin said shortly.

“that’s okay since we don’t know what to do huh?”

“then tell me how you two were friends.” Dong Hyeob demanded.

“aye aye captain!” Jamie smiled.

“pass it to me” Dong Hyeob pointed the snack Jong In was eating.

“oh, I see. So that’s why you’re here. “ Jamie handed out the snack to Dong Hyeob.

Collin nodded.

“how’s your mother? Is she doing fine without you?”

“I hope so.” Collin seemed unsure.

“ah, guess she stays all the same. Your mother is such a beauty-“ she hadn’t finished his sentence when Dong Hyeob threw a bite of snack to her. “what?” she ate the snack he threw at her.

“what are you doing? Do you think you’re a circus walrus huh?”

“what? What I’ve done wrong?” she was  even more puzzled.

“really, this girl.” Dong Hyeob sarcastically smiled.

“why you throw the snack? It tastes good anyway.”

“you want more? Here” Dong Hyeob was about to throw the snack again.

“YA!” she realized why he called her a circus walrus. “eat it yourself you bastard.”

“ahhhh… look how unfair is life. Our Collin has grown so well, he’s getting even more handsome, but why should he stay with these bastards huh.” She chattered.

Dong Hyeob and Jong In were shocked to their nerve.

“who do you think the bastards here huh? It’s better than having a drooling as his friend oh!” Dong Hyeob insisted.

“both are  the worst luck I’ve ever had though.” Collin laughed.

Dong Hyeob and Jamie threw a blazing stare at him.

“better than doesn’t have friend at all.” Jamie shortly stated.

Dong hyeob and Jong In laughed.

And, finally, school was over!

Kibum was standing next to the stairs when they walked down.

“our Kibum. So kind as usual.” Jong In took his bag from him, followed by Dong Hyeob and Collin.

Jamie was starring at them before Kibum handed out her bag.

“God, you even bring my bag, thank you.”

“we have another homework for tomorrow.” Kibum said shortly.

“Oh, homework.” Jamie mumbled.

“let’s do it together then, as usual” Collin walked away.

“I’m in then, please, let me in.” Jamie pledged.

Dong Hyeob raised his hand at her  before she ran to them.

They were heading to MangoSix.

They were entering MangoSix when Joong Rok passed them.

“ah, these kids!”

They lightly smiled.

Suddenly Joong Rok was startled to see Jamie.

“oh, em-“ he couldn’t find the exact words when Collin smiled.

“she’s my friend from States. She won’t be ended up like my mother.” He said shortly.

“oh, this kid! Aigoo, our Collin, let your ahjeossi meets your new friend ho?” he awkwardly laughed to hear Collin’s statement.

“My name is Jamie, I’ve just moved. Nice to meet you Ahjeossi” Jamie kindly greeted Joong Rok.

“oh, nice to meet you too. Oh, okay then, hope you enjoy your time here” he smiled before got into his car and  texted Dojin, Yoon, and Taesan.

SOS. Our Collin. Meet up ASAP.

“ah, our Kibum now have a new friend” Dong Hyeob lightly slapped his shoulder.

“you. what are you doing huh? Isn’t this supposed to be doing this together. It seems like Kibum  doing it all along, and you guys copy it.” She sharply stated.

“ah, never mind. there’s nothing more interesting than math for me” Kibum lightly stated with a sincere smile.

She was shocked and confused. Kibum was the first human she found loved math to death.

“see. I’m a good friend to let my friend enjoy what he likes, weren’t I?” Dong Hyeob sharply talked right in front of her face.

she continued her homework with Kibum.

They were out of the café when Collin spotted Joong Rok’s car stayed all the same. Dong Hyeob, Jong In, and Kibum walked away when Collin stopped.

“guys, I think I will stay for a while. You can go home first.” He said shortly.

“oh, okay then. See you tomorrow.” Dong Hyeob was about to leave when he saw Jamie. “you, are you going home with Collin?”

“I think we’re going on different direction.” She said shortly. “okay then, see you tomorrow. I get going” she walked away.

Collin stayed still.

“Ya! Need a friend?” Dong Hyeob yelled at her.

She turned her head “NO.’ she stuck her tongue out at him. she then walked faster.

“aiiishhh! That drooling !” Dong Hyeob kicked the empty space in front of him before Kibum and Jong In held their laughter. “ya, don’t you dare to laugh at me!” he slapped their shoulder before walked away.

Collin was starring at the car sharply before Joong Rok turned the window down, “get in, let me take you home.” He said shortly.

Collin got in to the car and the engine started. They were heading to Do Jin’s.

“you’ve told him?” Collin said shortly.

“what?”

Collin remained silent.

“oh, Collin, don’t be mad at me. I’m your ahjeossi, remember?” Joong Rok sarcastically smiled.

“I told you she won’t be ended up like mom.” Collin sharply stated.

“it’s not like that.”

“she even doesn’t act like a woman though” he sarcastically stated.

“I see” Joong Rok laughed, “but she’s still a woman, and she’s gorgeous.”

“oh? Should I tell your wife about this?”

“aishh! You!”

Jamie was taking her shoes off when her brother stood in front of her.

“where have you been?”

“homework”

She passed him reluctantly.

“lady, behave!” he sharply demanded.

“aye aye captain!”  she was heading to the refrigerator. “how comforting” she was drinking when her brother was approaching.

“have you made friends?”

She nodded.

“great then.” He was relieved.

He was about to leave when he turned again,

“girls?”

She paused a while before she nodded.

“don’t lie to me.”

She put her glass. “what’s the difference?”

“are they kind to you?”

“not really-“ she remembered Collin, “ah, remember Collin?” she assured him.

“Collin? He’s in the same school with you now?”

“the same class.” She was about to leave when her brother tried to reassemble his memory of Collin.
