Chanyeol is happy and excited about spending the entire day with her on her special day. He returns his gaze at Soojung and there she is, arm-stretching her way into the kitchen with a little yawn. Chanyeol greets her, brightly, like he always does. "Goodmo-"

"Good morning, Krystal! Happy birthday, my baby princess! I love you so much! You are my life, my soul, my whole world," she cuts him off, enumerating phrases he would probably say (which is every cheesy line in the book). "Blah blah blah, whatever! Just cut to the chase and give me my gift."

Chanyeol stares at Krystal while trying to maintain his pleasant smile, but fails, as the slightest twitch at the corner of his mouth makes it appear like an awkward grin. Like, really, really awkward because, "Um, I didn't get you anything..."
