Brunch was over and done with; it is now two in the afternoon. As she grabbed a handful of their favorite movie snack concoction and glanced upon the grandfather clock, Krystal proved that time indeed flies so quickly whenever she's with Chanyeol. With such a satisfied smile, she positioned herself to recline on the couch and placed her head comfortably back on his shoulder.   Even though their friends keep remarking on how weird her taste has become ever since she started dating him, Soojung doesn't really mind if it means that she gets to have a bowl of Honey Stars and Cheetos with her adorable weirdo like this, because she's happy. You see, Chanyeol always made littlest things special or significant - at times, almost idiotically. Like how he laughed like a maniac at the carton box by himself at the kitchen counter, just because the label said that Honey Stars now come with moons. And now, his lips are pouted, probably feeling sorry for the moons because their presence didn't get to be acknowledged in the cereal's official name.   His infectious personality has this effect on her that she wouldn't trade for the world. Through him, she saw the intricacies of life and learned to love it a little more.   "Are you still bummed about the moons being alienated inside the cereal box?" she asked him, in a half attempt to comfort and a half attempt to tease.   "H-huh?" Chanyeol snapped out of disorientation and wiped off the confused look on his face to make way for a grin as he pinched her cheek. "I was over it, but you had to remind me, didn't you?"   "Well," Soojung squinted her eyes confusedly as he returned to his alternate realm within two seconds. "What are you seriously thinking about, then?"   "That...that I'd..." Chanyeol sighed hopelessly and shifted his seating in such a way that he could look her straight in the eyes. Soojung took in his melancholic gaze hospitably as he spoke with uncharacteristic seriousness. "That I'd fallen so deeply in love with you, and I'm scared cause I don't know how I'd tell them about you."   "Tell who?" It was Soojung's turn to be disoriented.   Un-pressing his lips apart, Chanyeol replied quietly but enough for her to hear, "My wife and my children."   "Your wha-" It took a bit longer for her to process the cheesy joke but when she did, Soojung did not waste time and swiftly grabbed the corners of three throw pillows and pinned down her giant of a boyfriend who's too weak from laughing so hard to resist anyway.   "Hahahahahahaha!"   "You little !"   Because Chanyeol knew where Soojung's weak spots were, thusly enabling him to break the monopoly of throw pillows (he managed to steal one from her so they have two each), a ten-minute pillow fight ensued.       The moons were the least of his worries, really. Yes, the smallish issue of the birthday gift still made Chanyeol's mind restless, though Soojung had said that she's completely over it. But more than that, what genuinely bothered him, was how their way of thinking still won't synchronize up to this point of their relationship. Also, realizing that it was idiotic of him to conclude that she would be happier recieving no gift at all, he was determined more than ever to ponder on getting her the perfect one. However, Chanyeol was not about to come up with a bright idea, Soojung being such a distraction like this, with her kitten-like smile which was so adorable, it just made him want to kiss her face all day.   So no. He needed no Soojung in his 'Chanyeol thinking time.'   "Hey, you're spacing out again." Soojung pointed out as she munched on a piece of popcorn.   He shook his head, his lips pressed against each other. "Don't mind me." He tapped her thigh and stood up to leave.
