You was about to reach for the snooze button when a hand suddenly grabbed your wrist.

'Uh uh young lady. You're going to be late on your first day back to school.'

'Aww Mum!'

'You'll thank me for it later, now go and get ready'.

You reluctantly got out of bed and went into the bathroom to wash.

You came downstairs to the smell of mouth watering Maple syrup pancakes (your mum always made your favourite breakfast on the first day back to school).

Mr Kim was sitting at the kitchen table reading his morning paper.

'Morning dad ! Mmm, smells delicious!'

Mrs Kim waved you over, ' Eat a lot honey. I'm off to work and I'll be back a bit later than usual. Mind you, see if you can get tease your dad to get of his lazy backside to give you a lift to school. Have fun at school! '

'Hey ! I heard that !' Mr Kim replied smiling.

'Bye Mum!'

She chuckled and walked out the door.

'Don't worry Dad, I'll just walk it to school for today'. You went up the stairs to change into your uniform that had been ironed the previous night.

'Goodbye Sweet Heart! Have a great day at school! Try not to get into any fights , between you & me I think it's best that your mother doesn't know.'

'Yeah you're right. I've got dance practice after school so I'll be late back !'

Right after you left, Mr Kim recieved a phonecall.

'Yeoboseyo?'

'Yes , hello , this is ~~~~'s teacher informing you that she has to stay behind for cleaning duty'.

'Kamshamnida, I will tell her now'.
