Yixing looks up from his book when Jongdae walks into their room, holding a small slip of paper. "Yixing-hyung? Could you translate this for me? It's from a fortune cookie, but it is in Chinese."

Yixing smiles and holds out one hand. "Of course." There's a moment of silence as Yixing reads the short sentence.

"Well, it says..." he takes another second to figure out what to say in Korean, "something like 'There will be love in your future if you dare act on your feelings.'"

Jongdae doesn't answer right away, and Yixing looks up at him. His cheeks look a little redder than usual and he's avoiding looking directly at him.

"Oh, uhm, thank you," the singer mumbles finally. Then he turns and hurries out of the room. Yixing is still holding the slip of paper when Luhan walks towards him and reads it over his shoulder.

"Hey, this says 'You will live a long and happy life'?" he asks, confused.

Smiling, Yixing glances at the door where Jongdae disappeared, before turning around and looking at his friend, his smile widening into a grin.

"I know."
