Thunder P.O.V
Thunder heard the clang of the door behind him, heavy iron metal slamming back into the door frame. He hadn’t intended to close the door quite that hard, even though he was upset. He had first seen the mysterious prisoner as they were dragging him in. Even under all the dirt, blood and streaming tears he was the most gorgeous man Thunder had ever laid eyes on. He’d worked hard to convince the head guard that he was capable of taking over, since other guards were called away for the still ongoing battles in other parts of their country.
The first time he had been on guard, the handsome prisoner had been asleep. fitfully in his sleep a name that Thunder had never heard, “Mir.” Who this “Mir” character was, Thunder wasn’t sure, but he suddenly felt that stab of jealously that he hadn’t felt since he was a young teen. However his sudden desire for the name to have been a very different one, was replaced with concern. The prisoner, though still shrouded in his torn uniform, was clearly becoming malnourished. As time wore on and his captain heard no word from the opposing forces about an exchange, they treated him less and less like he was anything of value. Though it was his time to change guard, Thunder had made sure to leave a small bowl of rice that he had brought for a snack.
