Kyuhyun was working on his files for his next meeting; he was busy with the things he needs to present on the shareholders on their company

 

“President Cho, the shareholders are now on the session hall. They await your current proposal” his secretary came

 

“I’ll be right there, get my stuff at the hall and I’ll start once I get there” he ordered, she obediently went off as she was told

 

“Huh… I tire for days like this damn it” he sighed and stood up from his chair

 

He made his way to the meeting and presented his proposal, to his expectations everyone since to be interested on his proposal and was approved by majority. For him it wasn’t considered as much of a achieving point in their business, it was always expected that he could project to them the future so they would agree with his visions for the company

 

 

 

“You seem tired sir, would you like some refreshments?” she offered her boss

 

“Just get me some tea for me please” he ordered as he continued to check on some files

 

As he heard the door close, he sighed. “This feels so worthless at most, it’s all same old same old” he had always felt so down each day lately, he wasn’t sure why but all he knows is that he doesn’t seem to have any enthusiasm for anything

 

The night came and he was invited by Sungmin to have some relaxing time, they always drink on that bar, but even though he liked the ambiance and the drinks there. It still bothered him to still enter it, Min sighed seeing him like that “Lighten up Kyu! We’re not in the office for you to be like that. So enjoy the drink and relax” he reminded him

 

“I am, aren’t I?” he wondered to himself as well

 

“Yeah… so is relax like being a gargoyle? You hardly had a drink nor you even seem interested with it… is there still something bothering you?” he asked in such concern

 

He took his time, “N-No… nothing’s wrong, I’m fine”

 

“Is he still in your mind?” Kyu’s heart stopped for a second

 

“No… he has nothing to do with this” he cleared

 

“Stop lying to yourself, you haven’t gotten over him… you’ll never get over him” Min stood up and decided to leave

 

Kyu rushed to follow him, they reached the parking lot. He embraced him “No… I’m done with him, he’s nothing but the past… I have you now right? Don’t leave… don’t leave me alone” he pleaded in despair

 

Min couldn’t suppress himself to give into him, “I-I will” he was desperate in love with Kyuhyun, he wanted him all to himself

 

“Thank you” Kyu whispered softly in his ear

 

They made their way back to Kyu’s condo; they continued to drink there until Kyu was drunk onto his heart’s content. Min sat beside him as he steadied his wobbly partner, they made an eye contact and there he made his move to kiss him. They kissed tenderly and Min felt Kyu’s weighing him down to lie down on the couch he obeyed and let him hover over him

 

He felt the rush on having Kyuhyun; he only had him inside his heart for so long that he would do anything for him. The night passed by and they done what they felt for, they nestled at Kyu’s bed. Min looked at him with such passion; he never figured that he would be with him for such a time

 

He pleaded so much to be with him that he never wanted to let go, he had only one wish in his entire life. To have Kyuhyun’s heart all to his, but as of now it still he didn’t even gained a portion of it. He only gained a portion of his attention but never in their entire damn relationship would he receive love from him. He was still hoping that somewhere in his heart that he’ll be a valuable person inside of him, even once

Donghae on the other hand was living at china for the time being, he worked as well for his family’s company. He did all that he could to move on, he did what has to. He has to get the past behind him and his current his priority, “Hae… you should rest, you’ve worked so hard last night” Henry came to his side and embraced him

 

“I’m nearly finished, to be precise I’m about to be done right after this last documents. Have you slept wonderful by the way?” he asked

 

Henry hummed and kissed his cheek, “I can’t say I’ve slept so wonderful but… in a way, I was waiting for you to get some sleep” he rested himself at his side

 

“Someone’s rather sweet” Henry chuckled

 

“Why wouldn’t I? You always work so hard for the company, you should at least have a goodnight sleep” he embraced tighter

 

“My little Henry’s too caring” he dropped his files and looked Henry’s eyes, he gave a peck on his lips

 

“Thanks, but just like I said, I’ll just finish this and get right to bed. Why don’t you on the other hand get some breakfast, you must be starving for something to eat” he pinched his nose

 

“No thanks… I’ll be willing to wait for you to get finished and then I’ll eat breakfast with you” Hae chuckled, “Fine, suit yourself” he went back to his documents

 

“Would you care for some coffee?” he then let go of him and stood up, “Sure… that’ll be nice”

 

“Extra sweet alright” he added

 

“Sweet as me?” he kid

 

“You’re sweeter, don’t worry” he giggled

 

For about an hour or two, Hae finally finished. Though Henry wanted to have something to eat with him, he came back to check and Hae was already asleep as he was still sitting down. He smiled as he could sleep in such position, he laid him down the couch and let him rest properly. He took a pillow and a comforter and made sure he was tucked in comfortably

 

He looked so divine when he was all tire like that, “Why… why do you have to do this to me” he spoke as he dreamed

 

Henry had been aware of him sleep talking like that ever since he had him until dawn, whenever he’d sleep so tiredly or he’d have a good sleep, he’d always cry out as if he was being betrayed in his dream, he didn’t know what to do but listen to him and comfort him. He would always tear up at times but he heard a name before, “Kyu” was the name he had heard before

 

He tried to ask him about it but he had second thoughts, he didn’t want to bring up anything from Hae’s past nor he’d bothered but he was concerned that it’s affecting Hae’s sleep. He was also afraid that, maybe inside Hae’s heart the guy he had called out still had a place in him, he didn’t want to lose him nor he’d want him to return to Hae’s life. He was nearly at peace, he wants him to forget about the past he had, and he wanted to free him from his painful past

 

“I really didn’t want to ask about that person you loved before… nor would I dare to, but it still pains me to see and hear you like that for such a long time now” his tears fell gently

 

“I don’t want you to leave me… I don’t want to see you walk away from me and return to that damn bastard that keeps on haunting you” he caressed his cheek, “You belong to me, not him… not in this lifetime” he trembled deep inside but he knows Hae’s doing his best to show him that he loves him

Meanwhile back in Korea

 

Kyuhyun woke up with a sore beating in his head, he felt like it was about to explode. He got off of bed and made his way to the bathroom, he saw Sungmin at the kitchen. He sighed and cleaned himself up. Right after he got out of the bathroom Sungmin took notice, he greeted him and asked him to have something to eat

 

It took a minute or two before Kyu could answer, he sat down at the dining table and ate with Min. It was rather quiet between their meals, just like before. Min would always bring up a topic for them to talk, “K-Kyu… do you have plans for tomorrow? I was wondering, if you’d like to come with me on a dinner party. It’s been a while ever since we dated and~” he interrupted

 

“Sorry, but I really need to get a business meeting for today” he answered bluntly

 

Min felt wrong about asking, “O-Oh, maybe after work we could~” Kyu answered again

 

“I also have a late dinner meeting with an important business man for the company, so I’m quite tied up for today” Min lowered his head, “Sorry to have bothered” he felt so stupid to even ask

 

Kyuhyun hadn’t even eaten even a portion of what he had cooked for him but he stood up, “I need to get going, I’m needed early today” he went directly to his bedroom

 

Nothing changed between them, no matter how many times he would try, Kyuhyun wouldn’t seem to give him importance. He would always stop him from leaving but when he’s there it’s like he never exists, he never felt so pathetic for falling in love with him this much

 

He stood up and followed him in his room, he saw him nearly finish with only his top to wear. He assisted him and Kyu seems to let him do what he wants, “Could I at least know when I’ll be able to have you for dinner?” he asked nicely to him

 

There was a long pause until Min finished getting his coat ready, “I’m not sure, you have to ask my assistant to know about my schedules. I don’t have the copies of what I need to do” he stiffly said

 

“I-I see… well I’ll give you a call later” he finished the necktie

 

“Alright, see you” he took his briefcase and was about to leave until Min took hold of his wrist

 

Kyu wondered and turned, “Can I have a goodbye kiss from you?” Kyu sighed and kissed him at the cheek and without further talk he left

 

Min felt so worthless, but it was Kyuhyun, he didn’t mind. As long as he has him, it’s fine with him. He’s content with that he has for him
 

Kyu was greeted by his driver and they went off as Min watched him leave from the window, a tear fell at the side of his eye, “I never asked too much from you… only for you to love me; it’s the only thing I’d wished for”

 

Kyu didn’t expressed much of himself right after the break up, he felt empty in a way he’d never expected it to be. He knew in himself that he can live without him but didn’t reckoned that only for the past few months was all that he could hold on, he admitted to himself. He was weak, in terms of letting go

 

When he got to the office, he was greeted by his secretary and then he went off to the elevator. She briefed him of the whole schedule for the day, every little detail of it was given until she told him about the last part which made him wonder, “About the last appointment that you’ll have for tomorrow will be with the president of the Beijing corp., you’ll be discussing the expansion for our company at China and he will more likely ask for the benefits he’ll be able to attain with the cooperation for the branch out” Kyu nodded

 

“Will he be the only one in the meeting?” he questioned

 

“Not actually sir, he will be with his co-partner with their sister company which will also listen to the business ordeal, he might as well join if he would be satisfied” he nodded

 

“What’re the names of these Presidents?”

 

“From Lau Corp, the current president. Henry Lau, and the president of Beijing Corp, Lee Donghae” he felt his heart stop at the name, he didn’t know how to react at the sudden said of name

 

“W-What did you just said? Who’s the president of the Beijing Corp?” he shockingly asked

 

“Lee Donghae sir, he was the son of the previous president that took hold of the company… do you happen to know him sir?” she wondered about his reaction

 

It took him a minute to react as his heart slowly came to normal, “N-No… and please… if Sungmin asked about my schedule for tomorrow, tell him nothing about the business meeting that I’ll have with the presidents” she immediately nodded and the elevator rang

 

“Let’s go” he invited; they followed the whole thing that was listed and presented every people they needed to talk to, but as he did well with the proposals and meetings his mind never cease to ponder if it was really Donghae calling the shots at the company that he’ll be convincing

 

When everything was finished he came to rest for a while at his office, he curiously opened his laptop and checked the background of the Beijing Corp’s current president. To his shock, he finally had proof that it was truly Donghae, the Lee Donghae that he loved and left him right after two years. He was thrilled and at the same time scared to face him once again, he wasn’t sure if he’s ready to face him especially right after what they’ve been through

 

He wanted to do his best to round up the courage to face him even if it’s just a business proposal, he stared blankly as he thought of ways on how to start a conversation and hoping it wouldn’t lead to their past. He then pulled out his wallet, and took out a picture hidden amongst the others. Their picture, a memory of their first date together. It hurt him once again to see it what more if it was him

Donghae and Henry were already on their way to the airport, they alone drove for their flight.

 

“Hae, dear… is it really fine if I’d come along? I mean, your company is the one that’s being offered and mine’s the counterpart of it. So the best thing that could happen is within your decision” he wondered his reason for having him along

 

“Don’t you want to be with me?” he asked playfully

 

“N-No… of course not, I wouldn’t replace you for anything but… what’s my role in this?” he asked further

 

“I just… want you alongside me, is there anything wrong with it?” he smiled charmingly

 

“R-Really… I’m quite flattered” he smiled beamingly

 

“Besides… we could have a nice date, after the meeting, I have no more schedules or meetings to take care of, I’m free for the whole month and I’ll only check the weekly and daily reports on my laptop to make sure the whole company’s working fine, so rest assure I’ll have lots of time for you” he made Henry smile grow to the both ends of his ears

 

“Finally, I’ll have you without the hassle of waiting for you to sleep” he merrily said

 

“I love you Hae…” he leaned and rested his head at his shoulder

 

“I love you too Hen…” Henry feel overjoyed, it’s the first time Hae had a vacation for such a long time

 

But deep inside he has no idea, that the reason for having him along was also to help him face Kyuhyun, he was still afraid, still unsure what will happen once he sees him after a long while, he was curious but in a way wasn’t fully prepared. “I don’t know… what will happen once I see you again” he told himself

 

 

It was late and Kyuhyun wanted to drink, he made his way to the bar he always drank at. He wanted to have a clear mind for him to face Donghae. He wanted to be ready for whatever may happen; he had at least 7 shots of martini. He was rather wobbly but he still has control of himself, he wasn’t worried as well since he has his driver with him

 

He was still focused on what to say once he sees him, because he knows deep inside of him. He might back out if he were to fall apart at the meeting. “So, how long do you plan on not telling me that you were drinking tonight?” a familiar voice said

 

He turned, “Min… sorry, I just felt that I really need a drink right now” he reasoned

 

“It’s okay, well, at least I found you… so, is there something on your mind?” he quickly asked

 

It puzzled Kyu, “What makes you think that?” Min ordered a drink for himself

 

“Well… nothing much, you usually drink either from being tired or having a problem, which is it?” Kyu chuckled

 

“So just like last night, it meant something” he answered

 

“Yes, but last night was special… it wasn’t either the two” he paused at his statement

 

“Then what did it meant then?” he smiled faintly

 

“It’s someone you missed ever so dearly…” he took a sip of his drink before finishing, but, Kyu knows what he’ll say “Is the same old thing… it’s Lee Donghae” he trembled at hearing his name

 

“I’m right aren’t I?” he knows he’s right, but he heard a chuckle as Kyu’s response

 

“He’s nothing but the past… why of all people would I think of him? He’s nothing” though he smiled, it didn’t mean a single thing

 

Min giggled, “I guess… so, but you can never deny the chance that it would probably be him that’s running on your mind yesterday but… rather, I might be him inside that head of yours for tonight~” Kyu didn’t let him continue

 

“If your damn jealous of that ex of mine then fine, be jealous all you want. I don’t care if you hate him or not, but please Min… I’ve had enough with that stupid suspicion that you’re having about me still being in love with him, just leave me alone if your that damn narrow” he stood up and paid for his drink and left Min

 

Min panicked and rushed to him, “I-I’m sorry, please… I didn’t mean to be like that it’s just that~” Kyu turned to face him

 

“It’s just that you never trusted me? Your paranoia for him doesn’t go down… instead it always rises and it’s making me sick to hear it again and again” he yelled out

 

“I promise… I won’t speak of it again. I’m sorry, please… forgive me” he pleaded out

 

Kyu got in the car and was about the close the door but Min stopped him, “I’m sorry, I beg of you… I’ll stop… please” he cried out

 

“Leave me alone for now” he darkly said; he then pushed away Min’s hands and closed the door, the car immediately left, leaving Min sobbing at his mistake

 

Kyu was heartless with Min, because in one end Min had made a mistake before, he knows it in himself and Min is aware that Kyu is still not forgiving him about it
