TEASER THREE.
❝ VERSATILE ❞ ↺ BORN TO BE IDOLS. // CLOSED.The four of them arrived back at the company buidling, and the three girls joined the long line of trainees, while Kahi settled next to Jirin, who had a stack of paper, that decided the trainee's fate with the group. Haedi excused herself for awhile, and quickly grabbed a box of tissues, and went back in line.
"Well, actually. We've arranged a new plan for the debuts this year. VERSATILE would debut first, and a new group, would debut the next month, with a new concept. So, those of you who don't make it won't be dropped entirely." Jirin announced, which caused a lot of them to shift uncomfortably, as they could be the one that would be kicked out. "As you all know, Kahi is the one that picked this lineup, so, I trust her that this group would have strong chemistry, and be able to work together no matter what happens." He continued on. "But because we are humans and do feel pity that some of you won't be able to join VERSATILE, we'll be passing you a letter, and you're to go home right away. Okay?" He passed Kahi some vintage envelopes, and she started giving them out personally. Kristen got her letter first, her brown envelope decorated with stars in the front. She smiled at the creativeness her CEO had, and grabbed her rucksack and left the room, bidding the people in the room goodbye first. Kayeon was the next person to receive her letter, which was purple in colour. She grinned at the sight of her favourite colour and thanked them, even though she did not know what the letter contained. Jude, meanwhile held a letter with a snowflake drawn on it, and she quickly said a simple goodbye before hurrying out.
Mayoi had a letter that was rather plain and her heart sank. She stared at the piece of paper in her hands for awhile until she could smell the familiar scent of grapes and berries. She placed the letter near her nose and sniffed it. It does smell like berries! She grinned and left like the others, while Eunjoo and Jinhye got their letters at the same time. Jinhye smirked at Eunjoo's plain letter and she waved her bright, colourful letter in front of Eunjoo. The hot tempered girl smacked Eunjoo right on the nose before leaving the place, not bothering to even show respect to the two elders in the room. The victim of the harsh smack rubbed her nose, and smelled the letter, as she saw what Mayoi had did earlier. She figured that if a letter wasn't decorated, then there would be a rather nice scent and her's smelt like starbucks. Maybe she should open the letter in the popular coffee shop? She then left the room, at the same time as Seulji, whose letter was decorated with cute drawings of kittens. Haedi didn't receive any letter, knowing the results, and Junghee had a big, bright firework picture pasted on the envelope.
"Goodbye!" She waved before walking out the door. Yeonju squealed at the sight of her bunny decorated envelope, and she skipped off, after announcing her exit, and tripped on her feet. She immediately shot back up and laughed nervously as everyone eyed her with surpressed laughter. She darted out of view as Daerin received her letter. A derp photo of her sibling, Jungkook was stapled onto the paper and she burst into laughter. She had to show him this. Hana was given a different envelope, as it was shaped like a candy wrapper, and Haeri had her's shaped as a cheesecake. Both of them bowed, before exiting the room. Haemi meanwhile, received a violet coloured letter, she blinked innocently before bidding the two goodbye, and exited with her sister.
"Unnie, why didn't you get a letter?" She asked her sister, as they waited for their bus to arrive.
"You'll find out soon."
