That night I sleep soundly after pouring my heart out earlier that day. Then in my dream, I find myself standing alone, with white mist surrounding me. I can see a figure from far away. The figure is moving closer to me, it’s a familiar figure, the figure that I’ve been longing for. 

“Jongdae-ah” I said, barely to hear. I start to get teary-eyed. He’s wearing a white shirt, with white pants. He’s standing in front of me, smiling. I extend my left hand to touch his face when he stops me, holding my hand, still smiling.

“You’ll be okay. I am right here.” He said as he put my hand on my chest. I smile back at him, with teary-eyed. He then let go of my hand, walk away from me. Waving his right hand at me with his smiling face. Slowly, he fades away with the mist.

I wake up, wipe off the trailing tears that left on my cheek. I then realized that it was really a dream, I cried in my dream. I put my right hand on left side of my chest. ‘He’s right here.’

Then I remember something he said long time ago. “Because when people die, they don't really die. They remain alive here, in your heart.” My lips curve into a smile. Weirdly, my heart feels at ease now.

“You’ll be okay”  Whatever I do in the future, I’ll be okay. Mayb
