"Excuse me, Sul Hee?" U-Kwon suddenly said after we were walking for quite a while. "How far is your parents' house, exactly?
"It's actually pretty far." I sheepishly admitted. "I thought if we walked some of the distance, we could save some money on the taxi journey there." U-Kwon laughed at my logic and ruffled my hair.
"So..." U-Kwon said, after we walked for a while. "May I ask why you are living far away from your parents?"
I sighed a bit, relishing the memories. "Well, long story short, I didn't want to do something they wanted, and I left to live with my brother. I haven't really... visited them since. I'm a bad person."
U-Kwon stared at me intensely, and I was feeling a bit uncomfortable under his stare. "Well... I'm going to hail a taxi now." I said suddenly while rushing to the edge of the sidewalk.
"At least you can see your parents..." I heard a whisper as I jerked my head back to see U-Kwon staring at the ground. Weird... I thought to myself as a taxi pulled over.

"Wah!" I heard U-Kwon shout from my side. "Your place is amazing!"
I turned my head to see him gripping the door handle excitedly, his eyes practically glued to the window.
"What are you waiting for?" He said impatiently. 'Come on, Sul Hee, come on!" I shook my head apologetically at the taxi driver and placed the money on his grimy hands. U-Kwon and I got out of the car and stared at the house before us.
"I don't know, U-Kwon oppa..." I said nervously while twiddling my fingers. "I think we should just go home..."
"Who are you kidding?!" He shouted suddenly. "Sul Hee, we got this far already! You can't chicken out!" He grabbed my shoulders and looked me in the eye. "You can do this, okay?" I gulped and nodded my head slowly, while he removed his hands off of my shoulders and gave a sigh.
U-Kwon and I walked up to the front yard, my heart thumping loudly at every step I took. He held my hand and gave it a squeeze as we both stopped in front of the door.
I looked nervously at him, while he gave a small nod. Taking a deep breath, I rang the doorbell, while unconciously squeezing U-Kwon's hand tighter.
My father's old, worn, and surprised face greeted me. I gave him a small smile while simply he stared at me. "What are you doing here, Sul Hee?"
