Suffocating silence filled the practice room.

The five remaining members sat on the floor in a small circle. Eric cleared his throat as he tried to formulate words that refused to come out of his mouth. Until finally, he spoke up.

“This is going to be hard. But we must remain strong, for Choongjae. We have to remain as Shinhwa, if only to honor his memory. We can’t let what he worked for be in vain, can we?”

Slowly, but surely, they were picking up the pieces. They all know in their heart, that Jun Jin will be a Shinhwa member, forever and always.

A/N: This hurt to write. ._. I can never bear the thought of Shinhwa losing any of their members. But yes, just in case my writing didn't convey it properly, this is set during the time Jun Jin almost died, but obviously the outcome was different. Call it an alternate happening, if you will.
