“Hyesungiiieeee. Gimme a hug.” Eric whined at Hyesung as he launched himself forward towards him. Hyesung stepped to the side and completely avoided the tackle, causing Eric to land hard on the couch. “Hey! What’d you do that for?”

“I don’t want to. Go away.” He buried his face into a book, pretending to read. Eric sighed, then walked over to where Hyesung was, demeanor serious.

“You can drop the pretense, you know.”

Hyesung swallowed. “What pretense?”

“This whole ‘pretending not to like Eric’ pretense.”

Hyesung flashed beet red, before kicking Eric and stomping out of the room. “It’s not a pretense!”

Eric smiled knowingly as he followed after the other. Opposites attract, after all.
