You're amazing, everything about you is perfect
You're like a single rose that can't be compared with anyone else
You're more beautiful than a flower
"Yesung-ssi," the interviewer was saying. "Yesung-ssi, are you listening?"
"Ah- ye, I'm sorry. I was thinking about her." He gave a practiced shy grin, though his voice almost cracked on the word 'her', or maybe he imagined it, because he hated how he had to lie. It felt like the biggest lie in the world, and it felt like he was betraying him. But Ryeowook would understand, he told him that; it had been Ryeowook that insisted he fib just a little to keep Super Junior's image up. Besides, Wook had said, saying he was a girl wasn't too much of a stretch anyway.
No, Yesung wanted to tell him. You're more beautiful than any girl, more precious to me than any girl could even hope for.
But he didn't, because Ryeowook knew that. Just from his eyes, he knew everything Yesung wanted to say, all the words he held in his heart. Between them, they didn't need any words.
"If she can make you sing a love song with such feeling, she must be really something. We're all very curious, Yesung-ssi. Can you tell us something about her?" the interviewer prompted.
Yesung smiled again, but this time it felt more real, more honest. "The sweetest, most loving and caring person you'll ever meet. The kind of person who can make you smile just by existing."
If only he could say who.
But he didn't need to, because his love knew, and that was all he needed.
