All of SHINee was close, but two of the boys in particular seemed to share a bond, one that many fans acknowledged, and that the leader couldn't deny, no matter how much he wanted to.

Onew had always held a strange fascination for the friendship their two youngest members shared.  Key and Jonghyun called it unhealthy, but they didn't understand.  They didn't know why Onew watched them so closely, why he was so interested.  They didn't have a clue.  And he wanted to keep it that way.

While Taemin and Minho exchanged little touches here and there, and phrases sure to melt any fangirl's dreams, Onew caught every moment of it and stored them all in the back of his mind.  He even read fan accounts of '2min' moments.  He couldn't get enough, but he was different from the fangirls in one key way.

He didn't enjoy it one bit.

As their maknae and rapper became closer, and spent their days side by side in an inseparable frienship, they seemed to see only each other.

And he watched.  He supported.  He loved.  He cared for them, and why?  Why did it cause him such anguish?

Because deep in his heart, Lee Jinki knew two truths.  First, that he loved Taemin.  And second, that Taemin was Minho's.
