Minho's eyes never left Taemin.  He watched his every move, his every smile or pout, his every glance.  He watched Taemin's clingy affection as he latched onto each and every one of his hyungs, begging for attention, and getting just what he wanted, too.  He watched as Key treated him like his own son.  He watched as Jonghyun treated him like his best friend.  He watched as Onew treated him like the most precious thing on earth.

And Minho couldn't stand it.

Taemin was his.  He loved Taemin more than any of them could ever hope to, but what did that matter?  Taemin loved all of his hyungs.

And Minho knew.  Minho knew he didn't have a chance when it came down to him versus Onew.  He could see it in his eyes, the way their leader loved and cared for the maknae, the way he cherished him more than his own life, and Minho understood, because he felt it too.

But he knew, Taemin would always choose Onew.  Onew could always make him the happiest.

And Minho couldn't stand it.
