This definitely had to be the first sign of that future you feared.
Whoever did this knew exactly when there was no one in to sabotage some of the props the team had worked so hard on. That person was more than careful not to leave any evidence and conniving enough to find a way in and out without being seen, and from your knowledge, only few fit the description perfectly.
“What happened here!?!” –You yelled. The small group in charge of the props was taken aback, despite the situation being hard you always tried to be patient. But this was too much.
“We’re sorry team leader, but when we came here we were surprised as well. We’ll fix it.”
You calmed down, it wasn’t really any their faults, and somehow you were expecting things to go wrong anytime. Frustration was taking a toll on you, since whenever any incident or situation happened it lied in your shoulders and that was really tiring.
“I apologize for yelling at you guys. It’s not your fault.” –You took a breath in and spoke calmly. –“Just try and fix it as soon as possible, I’ll tell the guards what’s going on so they can keep a closer eye.”
They nodded and turned back to the hours of hard labor that was shred to pieces.
