"Name?" the boy looked around the room eyes unfocused, everything was white his mind vaguely supplied even the table in front of him. He ran his finger across the smooth surface before answering,

"Do Kyungsoo," the man across the table didn't write his name down instead he tilted his head making his silver blonde hair flick away from his face exposing curious eyes,

"Age?" he asked Kyungsoo's eyes fluttered shut his mind felt light but it was hazy,

"Kyungsoo-shi, how old are you?" the other prompted softly,

"Twenty," Kyungsoo answered finally remembering,

"Date of birth?"

"12th of January 1993" The other man leaned back in his chair and pulled on his long white sleeves uncomfortably,

"Date of death?" Kyungsoo's eyes flew open alarmed, the other man avoided looking directly at him and played with the hem of his shirt.

‘So that's what this all is.’ Kyungsoo thought oddly calm as his eyes took in everything around him. Everything stated to fall into place from all the white décor to the angelic looking boy in front of him.

“Today…I guess," he said finally finding his voice.

"Cause of death?" Kyungsoo’s hands trembled and the other boy reached out covering his hands softly with his own,

"You don't have to answer that, I'm sorry for asking. My name is Luhan," he said gently, Kyungsoo immediately felt calm,

"Are you an angel?" Luhan chuckled softly,

"I don't think people who take their own lives become angels," he said smile still in place but less vibrant than it was seconds ago.

"So this isn't heaven?" Luhan shook his head,

"Is this purgatory?" he asked, Luhan laughed,

"I don't think so. We’re just…in between,” he released Kyungsoo hand and leaned back in his seat,

"So what do we do here?" Kyungsoo asked more confused than anything, Luhan's smile was replaced with a cynical one,

"Live," he answered.
