Taecyeon stared at the road. He gripped the steering wheel, unable to think. Unable to say anything. Unable to look at her.

Yoona stared at her fingers. She studied her nails, unable to think. Unable to say anything. Unable to look at him.

Taecyeon had picked her up from the university after asking if she was free for lunch. She remembered Taeyeon urging her to go with him, so that she could ease out and begin to know him. It was best that they opened up now.

Taecyeon mind was whizzing. They sea of people that had jumped on him was truly unexpected. He was waiting for Yoona and had arrived on campus 20 minutes before the sudden attack. After the people had given them space, he could picture how awkwardly he had asked Yoona for lunch. He was glad when she gave a slight nod, but he still mentally cursed himself for being so awkward and weird in front of her.

Yoona found it surprising, and somewhat delightful, that Taecyeon had asked her for lunch. Although she could tell that he was feeling awkward, she blamed it on the fact that it was the first time the spoke to each, which was truly a fact. They did speak to each other for the first time.

She smiled in remembrance at the first thing he said to her, ever.

“Uhh...Annyeong Yoona-ssi.”

He gave a slight, awkward bow. Feeling very self conscious.

“Wou-would you want to go for dinner...oh sorry lunch? With me?”

His blank cold eyes had a certain warmth and hope that she liked seeing. She did not mind his wording. She was just glad that the expressionless face she saw for the first time yesterday knew some form of warmth.

Taecyeon checked the time. The silence was getting heavy for both of them. Neither knowing what to do, what to say.

“Would you like some music Yoona-ssi?” He asked softly, startling Yoona at the sudden brief conversation that had erupted.

She gave a soft nod.

He reached for the buttons and put the radio on.
