Yoona got dressed and straightened her cardigan and she was observing herself in the mirror. She looked somewhat okay. Slight dark circles were visible under her eyes due to the fact that she did not get enough sleep.

I am not sure when I will be back.

She sighed dejectedly for the umpteenth time. Why did he have to go? Her birthday was nearing. And he was leaving. 

I am going to Busan.

But Yoona knew it was work. He had already been missing a few hours of work with the amount of times he had taken her to lunch. However, this was different. Yoona was feeling selfish. She wanted Taecyeon to herself. She was feeling jealous. Why couldn’t he have forgotten about work and spend more time with her?

She stared at the calendar. 24th May.

Still another 6 days till her birthday. She was sure that it would probably take him more than that. She did not know how she knew, but it was a feeling. He was going to miss her birthday.

She remembered the time when they had missed Taecyeon’s birthday as it was a holiday and her family went to for a short holiday. When she came back, the realisation hit her that she had in fact missed his birthday. The guilt had crept up to her and apologised.

Maybe she deserved this for forgetting his birthday?

Yoona sighed again and looked at her hands.

“Yoona! Taecyeon is here!” She heard her mother called her. Yoona made a quick check in the mirror to see if she looked alright.

“Shall we?” Taecyeon’s face was still cold, but she could see some warmth in his eyes. She had grown used to seeing his cold face.

Yoona nodded as her answer.
