It was 10.30 a.m. on the next day yet Ara was still in her bed, thinking either to go or not. She had dark circles under her eyes due to lack of sleep.

            Alice came inside her room and looked at the unorganised Ara. She was looking lethargic and Alice couldn’t help but to feel bad for her cousin. She must be having a hard time.

            “Aren’t you going? His departure is going to be real soon,” Alice told her even though she knew Ara already took note on that. She looked at her watch and she knew Minhyuk probably had arrived at the airport. She wanted to go to the airport with her boyfriend but she needed to talk with Ara.

            “I don’t know,” she shortly replied; unsure.

            “We’re losing time, Ara. Just remember that you won’t be able to see him for years. This is your last chance to see him before he comes back to Korea. Do you want to let go of the chance? Do you know that he anticipates you to come? Are you simply going to let his hope down?” Alice tried to provoke her.

            “I don’t want him to be disappointed when I come to the airport without wearing the necklace he gave to me,” she reasoned. It was partly true though.

            Alice bit her lower lips. “It’s better than not coming at all, Ara.”

            There was a comfortable silence amongst them before Ara spoke up, “I need to make up my mind for a while. Can you spare me some minutes?” she asked.

            Alice gave a small smile to Ara as she patted her shoulder. “Sure, but remember to be quick. We don’t have much time,” she left Ara alone in the room as she made her way towards her room.

            Ara was baffled at the moment. She didn’t know what to do. There was only a name appeared in her mind unknowingly. ‘Baekhyun, aren’t you going to help me?’

            Ara was completely lost. She brought herself up from the bed as she went to her makeup table and then she saw the mp3 that was given by Baekhyun. She felt herself got attracted to it as she pressed play for the song that Baekhyun wrote for her.

            Her face got drenched by her tears again for the umpteenth times after listening to the beautifully written song. As she was about to turn the mp3 off to avoid herself from crying again, the mp3 magically played the next track that was never been played by Ara.

            It wasn’t a song. It was the message that Baekhyun recorded for Ara. Ara’s eyes widened at the sudden realization. Why didn’t she remember about the message even though Chanyeol had told her about that?

            Chanyeol broke into a small smile. “This is it. The song that he recorded is in here. And there are also recorded messages from him to you. Don’t worry, I didn’t listen to them. I’m just being a ‘postman’. I hope you’ll listen to them because it’s his last message to you or probably all of us, I’m not sure about that. I have to go now since I’ve given you this will of his. Bye, Ara,” he bade goodbye to her as he reassuringly patted her shoulder.

            Without wasting for any single second, she decided to listen to the recorded message from Baekhyun.

            ‘Hey, Ara. It’s me, your lovely, cute, handsome, quite tall and charming boyfriend, Byun Baekhyun. Did you finally listen to this cute message of mine? And did Chanyeol deliver it to you safe and sound? I bet he did because... well, he’s Chanyeol and I trust him the most in my life.

            When you’re listening to this, I don’t know what had happened to me. I don’t know, lately I have a strange feeling lingering in my mind. It feels like something is going to happen to me and should I add, it’s a bad thing? That’s why I recorded this to you before it’s too late.

            I just want to tell you, you’re the person that I love the most in this entire world. Trust me, your name is the only one that’s being engraved in my heart. You can operate my heart and I’m hundred percent sure that you’ll see your beautiful name; Yoo Ara written all over my heart. No matter where I am right now, I’ll continue to love you eternally.

As much as I don’t want you to love another guy in your life after me, I’ll only accept it if you eventually fall for him.

I know he’s capable of loving you, showering you with affections. He’s the right guy for you, Ara. And I’m sure he’ll do it better than me. Please try to love him, Ara.

            You’re not strong and you’ve never been strong no matter how you tried. And I believe Chanyeol can provide you the strength you need that I couldn’t give you. Remember when you cried for not winning the singing competition? I wasn’t able to comfort you no matter how hard I tried but Chanyeol did it easily. I must have been a bad and weak boyfriend to you huh?

            I’m sorry for being such an incapable boyfriend to you for 2 years and a half. And I’m sorry too if my words offended you. I won’t force you if you have another guy in mind but I wish my replacement will be Chanyeol. I shouldn’t call him a replacement, should I? In a better term, your eternal love. And I hope you won’t give false hope to Chanyeol. If you want to try to love him, then love him sincerely. Love him because he is Park Chanyeol; not because he’s someone close to Byun Baekhyun.             By the way, have you listened to the song I sang for you? It was beautiful, wasn’t it? And I can guess you have misunderstood the situation. That Chanyeol idiot. That song was actually written by him; fully composed by him and I was only the singer due to Chanyeol’s personal request. But then I want to borrow the song from him to sing it to you on our third anniversary but I don’t think I’ll make it to the date that’s why I recorded it earlier.

            Forgive me for nagging so much. This is the last time you’ll hear my voice so I hope you won’t miss me that much after this and that’s why I left the song for you. I wish I was the one who wrote the song but too bad I don’t have the talent. After this, you can demand Chanyeol to write songs for you and sing it. It’s because he’ll do anything for you. Just anything and everything. Believe my words, Ara.

            Lastly, I just want to tell you that I love you and I hope you’ll find your eternal Peter Pan very soon. I’m sorry for not being able to be your eternal Peter Pan, but I’m sure your eternal Peter Pan is better than me. I know God has arranged a beautiful destiny for the girl that I love the most.

            “Baekhyun...” his name escaped right away after the message ended. Her voice was wavering since she tried hard not to shed tears again. She realised what Baekhyun said was true. She knew she was being a complete idiot. She ignored people’s feelings for something that wasn’t worthy.

            Ara stared at the necklace for a brief second before she took it and slowly put the pretty necklace around her neck. ‘I’ll try to love you, Chanyeol. If the Lord has said you’re going to be my eternal Peter Pan, then that’s it,’ her lips went to form a tiny smile as her hands traced the beautiful wings-locket.

            As she was about to walk to her door, it was being slammed opened from the outside by the panting Alice.

            “It’s Chanyeol,” she said breathlessly.

            Ara’s heart began to pound rapidly. “W-what’s with him?” she asked; trying hard not to show any sign of panic.

            “He was already on the plane and the flight is departing in minutes. You’re too late,” the elder tried to inform her about the matter calmly but she failed to do so as herself was trembling as well.

            Ara couldn’t help but to sink on the floor limply when she heard that. Her tears streamed down her cheeks as her right hand was holding the locket firmly.

            ‘Why did you do this to me, Chanyeol? Leaving me when I’m coming to you? I only want you to be my eternal Peter Pan. I don’t want anyone else but you, Park Chanyeol.’
