Aeri clutched the learning material that Nabi had given her in her hands. She looked down at Eunmi. 

"Eunmi yah, are you ready?" she asked.

Eunmi was leaned against the door to Daeguknamah's apartment, hurriedly tying her shoe lace.

"One second, unnie," she mumbled nervously.

EunMi stood and began messing with her bangs. She felt especially paranoid about her appearance today. After the incident with Jay, she wanted to be sure whatever thoughts he had about her were positive. 

I don't want him to associate me with that day! she thought, embarrased. Her cheeks pinkened.

If Aeri's hands weren't full, she most certainly would have been doing the same. Her fingertips itched to brush the hair from her eyes, straighten her shirt, and adjust the heart locket that rested around her neck. 

Eunmi nodded at her unnie, decidedly ready to face Jay. Aeri nodded back. She was ready for Mika. The girls held their breath simultaneously. They were too nervous to even notice. 

Eunmi rapped her knuckles on the door lightly and stood back. Her palms sweated as she nervoulsy squeezed her hands together. 

Jay swung the door open, grinning widely. She's here! his mind sang. "Noonas, come in please!" 

After pulling the two inside, Jay looked behind them into the hall. "Where is Nabi?"

Aeri set her pile of papers on the living room table. "Kikwang insisted that she see a doctor. She's been experiencing bad headaches lately," Aeri said, addressing everyone in the room. She blushed when her eyes met Mika's. The boys were slung in various positions across the room. 

Injoon jumped up. He squeaked, "Omo! I hope she will feel better!" He sat on the couch in front of Aeri. "Nabi has a boyfrirend?" he asked, his smile fading slightly.

By now, Daeguknamah had migrated to the living room table. Jay poked his hyung's cheeks.

"Yah, why are you suddenly sad? Does hyung have a crush?" Jay teased.

Injoon pouted. "No!"

Aeri chuckled, carefully sliding onto the couch next to Eunmi. "Neh, he's Kikwang from Beast!" The boys nodded, muttering approvingly. Aeri continued, "I promise you'll still be getting your money's worth, even though Nabi isn't here today. She gave me a very dense lesson plan for you boys today! Also both myself and EunMi here are fluent in English."

Jay's head shot up. "Eunmi noona, you speak English?"

"Y-yes," Eunmi said in English nervously. She clasped her sweaty palms together and rested them on her knees as she shook. Yah! Stop being like this! You have to act normal around him! she scolded.

Suddenly, he was next to her. Eunmi's eyes widened. No! Don't do this, Eunmi! Don't be so shy!

"Dibs on you for my study buddy today!" Jay called, linking his arm though hers.

EunMi couldn't help but smile as her face grew hot. Thankfully, Jay was the only person looking at her. Or is that a bad thing? she wondered nervously.

Aeri had begun to distribute workbooks to the boys that Nabi had put together herself. "There are English conversations on page 4. Nabi wants you to translate them into Korean, then read the conversations aloud with a partner. Arraso?"

The boys nodded as they flipped through their pages.

Injoon scooted next to Jay. "Let's be partners, neh? I want Eunmi on the same team as me, too!"

Eunmi blushed at the sudden attention. She poked her fingers nervously, deciding a quiet smile would be the best answer.

"Ah, so cute," Injoon cooed, pinching her cheek.

"Yah, hyung," Jay scolded suddenly. "Let's do our work, arraso?" Eunmi detected a hint of...jealousy?

Injoon stuck his tongue out at his dongsaeng and picked up a pen. He winked at Eunmi before looking over the workbook.

Suddenly more uncomfortable than usual, Eunmi quickly pulled out her Nintendo to kill time. If they need my help, they'll ask, she thought, sliding a Nintendogs card into her DS.

Karam plopped next to Hyunmin on the floor, claiming him as a study buddy.

Mika looked around, noticing everyone had been taken. His body was slung gracefully across a large armchair. He sat up, straightening himself, and looked at Aeri. "Aeri yah, will you be my partner for this assignment?"

Aeri had been searching through Nabi's box of materials. She looked up, a blush approaching. "N-neh," she managed to utter. "J-just let me know when you're ready."

Mika smiled and nodded. He whipped out a pencil and continued his work.

An hour later, Aeri and Eunmi were walking out of Dae Guk Nam Ah's aparment building, clutching papers and various worksheets. Aeri fished out her keys from her pocket, while her box of paraphanilia tipped dangerously. She balanced it skillfully, managing to unlock the car.

Eunmi poked her foot with her other foot as she waited for Aeri to set her stuff down.

"EUNMI YAH!" a voice called from above.

Eunmi's eyes shot up to the sky. "GOD?" OH NO I FORGOT TO PRAY THIS MORNING! 

"Eunmi!! Over here!"

"NO, HYUNG!!" another voice whined frantically.

Eunmi turned, her eys resting on Injoon leaning out of the balcony. Jay rushed inside as soon as Eunmi saw them.

Injoon cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted, "JAY LIKES YOU!"
