Will their promise last or will it be shattered?
"Daniel before we runaway, I have to check if Chucky's really home plus we have to get some stuff like our clothes and foods,I'm already hungry."Rachelle said."Sure let's go back."Daniel said.As they went back,their parents are home but they didn't said anything and Chucky was home."Where could they be?"Rachelle asked."I don't know they couldn't be looking for us?could they?"Daniel said.Both of them ate food but Chucky doesn't seem to be eating or talking then they went to get their things and as soon as they we're done,they runaway with Chucky.As Rachelle touched his brother's hand,she felt a high temperature."Oh no!Chucky has a high fever!"Rachelle shouted."We have to send him to a hospital and quick!"Daniel said.They ran and ran as fast as they could to get to the hospital because they don't have any money on their pockets.In a low voice Chucky spoke and said,"Daniel,take care of sissy.I love you sissy."then he smiled."You'll be alright Chucky!Don't say things like that."Daniel said."I love you too Chucky and please just hold on!We're almost there."Rachelle said."Da Ge,promise me you'll take care sissy,please."Chucky said as he's catching up his breath."Chucky,don't talk anymore.It's bad for you."Rachelle said."I will.I promise you.I'll take good care of her."Daniel said.Then he said slowly in a soft voice,"Thank You."as he closed his eyes.They went to the hospital to send Chucky but it was too late.Chucky died as they arrived.The doctor told them he was diagnosed with H1N1.Rachelle was in shocked and sat on the floor.She started to cry without a sound."My brother!He's gone!It's my dad's fault!He'll pay someday."she thought.Daniel tried to comfort her and he sat beside her."Duibuqi!It's all my fault.If I hadn't runaway last night then Chucky wouldn't be soaked in the rain and he wouldn't be sick.He wouldn't die!I don't know how to comfort you right now but punch me or something.Release that pain at me.I'll gladly accept it."Daniel said."It's not your fault.I don't blame you.To think about this whole situation,I think it's better off this way because this way,he won't have a miserable life like I'm having now.He'll be at peace now.Daniel,thanks for again.Right now,we have to be strong and get ready for our revenge someday when we're an adult and ready to face the challenges in life."Daniel said."Your words we're very deep.It made me realize that home to grab some money and clothes because they left them when they sent Chucky to the hospital.They we're shocked and surprised at what they saw.Five houses along the street including their house are on fire."What a refreshing moment to see.Too bad I didn't get my revenge on my own hands."Rachelle said."Hmp!Well that lessens my revenge.Now I'll just have to find my real parents."Daniel said."Chucky!We've won against him!He's a goner now!"Rachelle shouted happily."Rachelle,I just thought,If I would start my revenge on my real parents,where would I find them?"Daniel asked."We should let the fire down and then probably we'll find some evidence like your parents name."Rachelle suggested."Great idea!"Daniel said.The firemen came and stopped the fire.It took hours to put down the fire and finally it was put down."Kids!Stay away from here."the medics said.They recovered three dead bodies including Rachelle's father and Daniel's fake parents.Rachelle and Daniel sneaked into Daniel's house to find some evidence of Daniel's parents.They saw a drawer and there's a picture of a baby boy with a woman and a man that looks like a family.At the back of the picture it indicates a letter.Please give this our son,Nicole and Ricky Waro.It states the address below of the Waro's."Wait a sec!They're your parents,Daniel."Rachelle said."Yeah,I think so.So then,I'm Daniel Waro.Sounds funny but well whatever...let's go to this address tomorrow."Daniel said."Kids!I told you to get off here.It's dangerous."one of the police officer said."But Sir!We live here.Where would we live now?"Rachelle said."All the evacuees will live for now at the evacuation centre and after a few days,we'll contact the orphanage to pick you guys up."the officer said."That's a relief Rachelle.That way,we'll have food and clothes at the moment."Daniel said."Well that's true but after that few days,we have to escape.I don't want to be stuck in an orphanage."Rachelle whispered."I agree.Don't worry we'll plan something about that.But let's go tomorrow into this address."Daniel said."Of course!I don't want to miss out how your revenge will work out."Rachelle said.As they arrived in the evacuation centre,they we're provided with food,clothes,and sleeping bags."This isn't so bad at all!With these stuff,we can be on our own."Rachelle said."Yeah we're still lucky to have these."Daniel said."I just suddenly remembered Chucky.If mom just didn't die then none of these would have happened but if it never happened,I wouldn't have met you.Now that I had my revenge,what's my purpose in life now I wonder?"Rachelle said."There are just times when life goes up and down and now we're on the down side.The miserable side that makes us cry and feel pain all the time but don't worry it will heal soon.Let's try to cheer up ourselves for now."Daniel said."I guess you have a point."Rachelle said as they fell asleep.The next day,Rachelle and Daniel went to the address of the Waro family who they believed is Daniel's parents.They saw a big house that looks like a palace.As they doorbell,a woman answered the door.Daniel and Rachelle look at the picture but it didn't match with the woman who answered the door."May I help you?"she asked."Yes!Is this Waro's residence?"Daniel asked."Sorry,they moved out here twelve years ago.All I know is Nicole and his husband Ricky,divorced but for an unknown reason.That's all the information I have."the woman said."Well thank you for your time.We'll be leaving now."Rachelle said.Rachelle and Daniel went back at the evacuation centre.Daniel looks sad and depressed."Will I ever find them?"Daniel said."Of course you would."Rachelle comfort Daniel."This isn't the time for being depressed and stuff.We have to make a plan to escape here."Daniel said."Well that's easy.Let's just say we want to talk a walk or something."Rachelle said."You're just too brilliant!"Daniel said."Heh~If it's ideas you need,then it's I you need."Rachelle smiled."Nice one!"Daniel giggled."You always make me laugh and that's what I like about you."Daniel said."When I have problems your always there for me to comfort me and to ease the pain.Your a true friend we?"Daniel asked."How about we do it now?"Rachelle said."From this day on,I promise to be Rachelle's best friend ever.I'll always be by your side.I'll never leave you and no matter what happens,I'll always catch up.I'll never change the me you know and I hope you'll never change too."From this day on,I promise to be Daniel's best friend ever.I'll always make him laugh.I'll be there when he have problems and whenever he needs me,I'm just right there ready to help.I'll never change and I hope you keep your promises 'cause if you don't,I'll change the way you won't like."Rachelle said as she hugged Daniel."Of course!A promise is a promise after all and no one can break our promises to each other.I just thought of a random question.What if we got separated by accident or we had to because something came up?What will you do then?Would you hate me?"Daniel asked."I-I don't want to think about it because I don't how I would feel when we got separated.I'd probably cry and cry like a baby.How's that as an answer?"Rachelle said."Seriously?you'd cry like that for me?"Daniel asked."Yeah!Remember the other night,I have asked you,what would be my purpose in life now?I finally found an answer to that.Everyone left me already,I don't have a family now but I found one and it's you.I treat you like a family to me.If one day comes that we'd have to be separated,I don't know how to move promises and I never break them.Well that was a long talk,let's go now."Daniel said.As they went outside,they saw the orphanage van coming.Three men came out of the van to pick up Daniel and Rachelle."There they are!After them!"one of the men spoke.Daniel and Rachelle ran as fast as they could but Daniel tripped and sprained his ankle."Rachelle!Run!Just leave me.I'll be alright.Don't worry just go!"Daniel cried as he shouted.Rachelle turned back to stare at Daniel for one last time.Then she ran far away from Daniel and find a hiding place to hide herself from the social workers.
