Nobody's POV
"What, why? I bet Kai can't even protect Dara well. Let me do the job pleaseeee," Baekhyun protested as he glared slightly at Kai.
"Who says so? I will definitely do a better job than you Baekhyun-ssi" Kai retorted as he glared back at Baekhyun.
"Well, Kai-ssi for your information ..." Just as Baekhyun was about to defend himself, Dara spoke up suddenly, stopping the childish argument between the two grown-ups.
"WELL, Kai-SSI and Baekhyun-SSI, for your information, we have not much time left. So why don't we just stick to our partner right now and stop wasting anymore precious time?" Dara hissed impatiently at the both of them.
Kai and Baekhyun flushed upon hearing what Dara had said and stopped immediately though still sending one another death glares.
Baekhyun's POV
That lucky if Dara wasn't here I would have NKCHD ughhh
Not to say, I just embarrassed myself infront of Dara. What if she hates me now? NOOO she looks so angry just now haish.
But she looks really adorable when she's angry heheh BYUN BAEKHYUN what are you thinking get.your.head.clear.of.her.beautiful.face.right.now.
Nobody's POV
The group got into their pairs and threes hurriedly as they settled on the rooms each group would take. (Baekhyun & Chanyeol // Sehun, Suho & D.O.)
" I don't want to be in the same group as Sehun! Chanyeol change with me please..." D.O. begged Chanyeol quietly as he tried to do aegyo to convince him.
"What why? And don't do aegyo please you totally fail in doing it."
"CUZ HIS RAINBOW HAIR will attract all the walking dead to us!" D.O. rolled his eyes and pointed at Sehun's bright-coloured hair accusingly.
Everyone laughed at D.O.'s silliness and he groaned loudly as Sehun promised to follow him wherever he goes.
"Alright guys, jokes aside. Let's be serious now," Dara said solemnly, grabbing their attention, before continuing, "Stay alert at all times, stay quiet and ... Be safe. Good luck."
Dara's POV
My heart is beating so fast I can't even breathe properly. I grabbed tightly on my weapon as I open the door as quietly as I can and proceeded forward carefully.
Please mum and dad, protect me ... and the boys.
I heaved a sigh of relief as the corridor are cleared, with no signs of those zombies or walking dead or whatever you call them around. Turning around slightly, I signaled them that the corridor is clear. They nodded in response as they slowly made their way to their respective rooms.
I stopped infront of the room I was incharged of and placed my hand on my chest, trying to calm my wildly thumping heart. As I shakily put my hand onto the door knot, I felt something warm stopped my hand from opening the door.
I looked up to say a pair of winter blue eyes gazing back at mine. He slowly removed his hand from mine and whispered, "Let me do it."
My heart seemed to beat even harder than before as his eyes shone brightly under the moonlight.
"I'll protect you," I heard him said softly, " with my life."
"It's funny isn't it? How one regular person can just walk into your life one day and then become your whole word the next day. "

Sorry for this short chapter ! I decided to just write a short one as a break from studying.
My End-Of-Year examinations are starting in 4 days time and I'm not really prepared yet haish :/
