You met Jaejoong’s empty gaze when you were heading out the school’s hall. He was coming in and you instinctively clutched his hand.

                He was surprised but he didn’t let it show, instead he stared down the two laced hands longer than necessary. You quickly pulled away, hiding the flush in your face.

                You fought the butterflies that started to fly in your stomach. “H-have you heard the talk? About us I mean.”

                “Yes.”

                You scanned his eyes for any trace of annoyance or anger but he only blinked stoically. “A-aren’t you mad?” you stuttered.

                “No if it’s you who spread it, I might have been.” He combed his silky brown hair with a hand.

                You cringed. “Then you know who did it?”

                “No.”

                “But why did you say it wasn’t me?”

                He lowered a little to level your eyes. “Because a stupid girl like you wouldn’t brag when everyone knows she’s stupid. Nobody will listen to her.”

                He placed his hands inside his pockets and proceeded down the hall opposite your way. He hid an amused smile.

                Irritation quickly filled your white cute face. “Aish! Aish! Mr. Arrogant always knows his way to annoy me!” you mumbled.

                You stormed out and pushed the glass door open but it swing fast back and smacked your nose. “OUCH!” you lightly felt for your injured nose. “Ow! It hurts!”

                Jaejoong looked back. He grinned secretly and muttered to himself, “clumsy and babo *stupid.” He stared down at his hand that you held earlier, he flexed his fingers wider and turned to walk back again.
